Joshua 6:10 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ But Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ צִוָּ֨ה had commanded ṣiw·wāh הָעָם֩ the people hā·‘ām לֵאמֹ֗ר : lê·mōr לֹ֤א “ Do not lō תָרִ֙יעוּ֙ give a battle cry ṯā·rî·‘ū קוֹלְכֶ֔ם or let your voice qō·wl·ḵem וְלֹא־ . . . wə·lō- תַשְׁמִ֣יעוּ be heard ; ṯaš·mî·‘ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְלֹֽא־ do not wə·lō- דָּבָ֑ר let one word dā·ḇār יֵצֵ֥א come out yê·ṣê מִפִּיכֶ֖ם of your mouth mip·pî·ḵem עַ֠ד until ‘aḏ י֣וֹם the day yō·wm אָמְרִ֧י I tell ’ā·mə·rî אֲלֵיכֶ֛ם you ’ă·lê·ḵem הָרִ֖יעוּ to shout . hā·rî·‘ū וַהֲרִיעֹתֶֽם׃ Then you are to shout ! ” wa·hă·rî·‘ō·ṯem Joshua 6:11 אֲרוֹן־ So he had the ark ’ă·rō·wn- יְהוָה֙ of YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּסֵּ֤ב carried around way·yas·sêḇ הָעִ֔יר the city , hā·‘îr הַקֵּ֖ף circling haq·qêp̄ פַּ֣עַם it once pa·‘am אֶחָ֑ת . . . . ’e·ḥāṯ וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ And [the people] returned way·yā·ḇō·’ū הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה to the camp ham·ma·ḥă·neh וַיָּלִ֖ינוּ and spent the night there way·yā·lî·nū בַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃פ . . . . bam·ma·ḥă·neh Joshua 6:12 יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ וַיַּשְׁכֵּ֥ם got up early way·yaš·kêm בַּבֹּ֑קֶר the next morning , bab·bō·qer הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים and the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ took way·yiś·’ū אֲר֥וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . Yah·weh Joshua 6:13 וְשִׁבְעָ֣ה And the seven wə·šiḇ·‘āh הַכֹּהֲנִ֡ים priests hak·kō·hă·nîm נֹשְׂאִים֩ carrying nō·śə·’îm שִׁבְעָ֨ה seven šiḇ·‘āh שׁוֹפְר֜וֹת vvv šō·wp̄·rō·wṯ הַיֹּבְלִ֗ים rams’ horns hay·yō·ḇə·lîm הֹלְכִ֣ים kept marching hō·lə·ḵîm הָל֔וֹךְ . . . hā·lō·wḵ לִפְנֵי֙ ahead lip̄·nê אֲר֣וֹן of the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְתָקְע֖וּ and blowing wə·ṯā·qə·‘ū בַּשּׁוֹפָר֑וֹת the horns . baš·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ וְהֶחָלוּץ֙ The armed troops wə·he·ḥā·lūṣ הֹלֵ֣ךְ went hō·lêḵ לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם in front of them lip̄·nê·hem וְהַֽמְאַסֵּ֗ף and the rear guard wə·ham·’as·sêp̄ הֹלֵךְ֙ followed hō·lêḵ אַֽחֲרֵי֙ . . . ’a·ḥă·rê אֲר֣וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh בַּשּׁוֹפָרֽוֹת׃ while the horns baš·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ הוֹלֵךְ kept hō·lēḵ וְתָק֥וֹעַ sounding . wə·ṯā·qō·w·a‘ Joshua 6:14 הַשֵּׁנִי֙ So on the second haš·šê·nî בַּיּ֤וֹם day bay·yō·wm וַיָּסֹ֨בּוּ they marched around way·yā·sōb·bū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָעִ֜יר the city hā·‘îr פַּ֣עַם once pa·‘am אַחַ֔ת . . . ’a·ḥaṯ וַיָּשֻׁ֖בוּ and returned way·yā·šu·ḇū הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה to the camp . ham·ma·ḥă·neh עָשׂ֖וּ They did ‘ā·śū כֹּ֥ה this kōh שֵׁ֥שֶׁת for six šê·šeṯ יָמִֽים׃ days . yā·mîm Joshua 6:15 וַיְהִ֣י׀ Then way·hî הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י on the seventh haš·šə·ḇî·‘î בַּיּ֣וֹם day , bay·yō·wm וַיַּשְׁכִּ֙מוּ֙ they got up way·yaš·ki·mū כַּעֲל֣וֹת at dawn ka·‘ă·lō·wṯ הַשַּׁ֔חַר . . . haš·ša·ḥar וַיָּסֹ֧בּוּ and marched around way·yā·sōb·bū
