בְּקֶ֣רֶן horn bə·qe·ren בְּשָׁמְעֲכֶם and you hear bə·šå̄·mə·ʿă·ḵɛm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשּׁוֹפָ֔ר [its] haš·šō·w·p̄ār ק֣וֹל sound , qō·wl כָל־ have all ḵāl הָעָ֖ם the people hā·‘ām גְדוֹלָ֑ה give a mighty ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh יָרִ֥יעוּ shout yā·rî·‘ū תְּרוּעָ֣ה . . . . tə·rū·‘āh חוֹמַ֤ת Then the wall ḥō·w·maṯ הָעִיר֙ of the city hā·‘îr תַּחְתֶּ֔יהָ vvv taḥ·te·hā וְנָ֨פְלָ֜ה will collapse wə·nā·p̄ə·lāh הָעָ֖ם and all [your] people hā·‘ām אִ֥ישׁ . . . ’îš וְעָל֥וּ will charge wə·‘ā·lū נֶגְדּֽוֹ׃ straight into [the city] . ” neḡ·dōw Joshua 6:6 יְהוֹשֻׁ֤עַ So Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ בִּן־ son bin- נוּן֙ of Nun nūn וַיִּקְרָ֞א summoned way·yiq·rā הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm וַיֹּ֣אמֶר and said way·yō·mer אֲלֵהֶ֔ם . . . ’ă·lê·hem אֶל־ - , ’el- שְׂא֖וּ “ Take up śə·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲר֣וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn הַבְּרִ֑ית of the covenant hab·bə·rîṯ וְשִׁבְעָ֣ה and have seven wə·šiḇ·‘āh כֹֽהֲנִ֗ים priests ḵō·hă·nîm יִשְׂאוּ֙ carry yiś·’ū שִׁבְעָ֤ה seven šiḇ·‘āh שֽׁוֹפְרוֹת֙ vvv šō·wp̄·rō·wṯ יוֹבְלִ֔ים rams’ horns yō·wḇ·lîm לִפְנֵ֖י in front lip̄·nê אֲר֥וֹן of the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . ” Yah·weh Joshua 6:7 וַיֹּאמְרוּ And he told way·yō·mə·rū אֶל־ . . . ’el- הָעָ֔ם the people , hā·‘ām עִבְר֖וּ “ Advance ‘iḇ·rū וְסֹ֣בּוּ and march around wə·sōb·bū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָעִ֑יר the city , hā·‘îr וְהֶ֣חָל֔וּץ with the armed troops wə·he·ḥā·lūṣ יַעֲבֹ֕ר going ya·‘ă·ḇōr לִפְנֵ֖י ahead of lip̄·nê אֲר֥וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . ” Yah·weh Joshua 6:8 וַיְהִ֗י - way·hî יְהוֹשֻׁעַ֮ After Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ כֶּאֱמֹ֣ר had spoken ke·’ĕ·mōr אֶל־ to ’el- הָעָם֒ the people , hā·‘ām וְשִׁבְעָ֣ה seven wə·šiḇ·‘āh הַכֹּהֲנִ֡ים priests hak·kō·hă·nîm נֹשְׂאִים֩ carrying nō·śə·’îm שִׁבְעָ֨ה seven šiḇ·‘āh שׁוֹפְר֤וֹת vvv šō·wp̄·rō·wṯ הַיּֽוֹבְלִים֙ rams’ horns hay·yō·wḇ·lîm לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh עָבְר֕וּ advanced ‘ā·ḇə·rū וְתָקְע֖וּ and blew wə·ṯā·qə·‘ū בַּשּֽׁוֹפָר֑וֹת the horns , baš·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ וַֽאֲרוֹן֙ and the ark wa·’ă·rō·wn בְּרִ֣ית of the covenant bə·rîṯ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh הֹלֵ֖ךְ followed hō·lêḵ אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃ them . ’a·ḥă·rê·hem Joshua 6:9 הַשּֽׁוֹפָר֑וֹת While the horns haš·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ תָּקְעוּ continued to sound , tå̄·qə·ʿū וְהֶחָל֣וּץ the armed troops wə·he·ḥā·lūṣ הֹלֵ֔ךְ marched hō·lêḵ לִפְנֵי֙ ahead lip̄·nê הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים of the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm הָל֖וֹךְ - hā·lō·wḵ וְתָק֥וֹעַ who blew wə·ṯā·qō·w·a‘ בַּשּׁוֹפָרֽוֹת׃ the horns , baš·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ וְהַֽמְאַסֵּ֗ף and the rear guard wə·ham·’as·sêp̄ הֹלֵךְ֙ followed hō·lêḵ אַחֲרֵ֣י . . . ’a·ḥă·rê הָאָר֔וֹן the ark . hā·’ā·rō·wn
