2 Chronicles 1:3 שְׁלֹמֹה֙ And Solomon šə·lō·mōh וְכָל־ and the whole wə·ḵāl הַקָּהָ֣ל assembly haq·qā·hāl עִמּ֔וֹ - ‘im·mōw וַיֵּלְכ֗וּ went way·yê·lə·ḵū לַבָּמָ֖ה to the high place lab·bā·māh אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer בְּגִבְע֑וֹן at Gibeon bə·ḡiḇ·‘ō·wn כִּי־ because kî- הָיָ֗ה it was hā·yāh שָׁ֣ם the location of šām הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים God’s hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֹ֤הֶל Tent ’ō·hel מוֹעֵד֙ of Meeting , mō·w·‘êḏ אֲשֶׁ֥ר which ’ă·šer מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh עֶֽבֶד־ the servant ‘e·ḇeḏ- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh עָשָׂ֛ה had made ‘ā·śāh בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ in the wilderness . bam·miḏ·bār 2 Chronicles 1:4 אֲבָ֗ל Now ’ă·ḇāl דָוִיד֙ David ḏā·wîḏ מִקִּרְיַ֣ת miq·qir·yaṯ הֶעֱלָ֤ה had brought he·‘ĕ·lāh אֲר֤וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn הָאֱלֹהִים֙ of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm יְעָרִ֔ים from Kiriath-jearim yə·‘ā·rîm דָּוִ֑יד to the place dā·wîḏ בַּֽהֵכִ֥ין he had prepared ba·hê·ḵîn ל֖וֹ for it , lōw כִּ֧י because kî נָֽטָה־ he had pitched nā·ṭāh- אֹ֖הֶל a tent ’ō·hel ל֛וֹ for it lōw בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem . bî·rū·šā·lim 2 Chronicles 1:5 הַנְּחֹ֗שֶׁת But the bronze han·nə·ḥō·šeṯ וּמִזְבַּ֣ח altar ū·miz·baḥ אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer עָשָׂה֙ made by ‘ā·śāh בְּצַלְאֵל֙ Bezalel bə·ṣal·’êl בֶּן־ son ben- אוּרִ֣י of Uri , ’ū·rî בֶן־ the son ḇen- ח֔וּר of Hur , ḥūr שָׂ֕ם was [in Gibeon] śām לִפְנֵ֖י before lip̄·nê מִשְׁכַּ֣ן the tabernacle miš·kan יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH . Yah·weh שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה So Solomon šə·lō·mōh וְהַקָּהָֽל׃ and the assembly wə·haq·qā·hāl וַיִּדְרְשֵׁ֥הוּ inquired of Him there . way·yiḏ·rə·šê·hū 2 Chronicles 1:6 שְׁלֹמֹ֨ה Solomon šə·lō·mōh וַיַּעַל֩ offered sacrifices way·ya·‘al שָׁ֜ם there šām לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֖ר - ’ă·šer עַל־ on ‘al- הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ the bronze han·nə·ḥō·šeṯ מִזְבַּ֤ח altar miz·baḥ לְאֹ֣הֶל in the Tent lə·’ō·hel מוֹעֵ֑ד of Meeting , mō·w·‘êḏ עָלָ֛יו [where] ‘ā·lāw וַיַּ֧עַל he offered way·ya·‘al אָֽלֶף׃ a thousand ’ā·lep̄ עֹל֖וֹת burnt offerings . ‘ō·lō·wṯ 2 Chronicles 1:7 הַה֔וּא That ha·hū בַּלַּ֣יְלָה night bal·lay·lāh אֱלֹהִ֖ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm נִרְאָ֥ה appeared nir·’āh לִשְׁלֹמֹ֑ה to Solomon liš·lō·mōh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר and said way·yō·mer ל֔וֹ - , lōw שְׁאַ֖ל “ Ask šə·’al מָ֥ה - , māh אֶתֶּן־ [and] I will give it ’et·ten- לָֽךְ׃ to you ! ” lāḵ 2 Chronicles 1:8 שְׁלֹמֹה֙ Solomon šə·lō·mōh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר replied way·yō·mer לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים to God : lê·lō·hîm אַתָּ֗ה “ You ’at·tāh עָשִׂ֛יתָ have shown ‘ā·śî·ṯā גָּד֑וֹל much gā·ḏō·wl חֶ֣סֶד loving devotion ḥe·seḏ עִם־ to ‘im-
