Ezra 10:41 עֲזַרְאֵ֥ל Azarel , ‘ă·zar·’êl וְשֶׁלֶמְיָ֖הוּ Shelemiah , wə·še·lem·yā·hū שְׁמַרְיָֽה׃ Shemariah , šə·mar·yāh Ezra 10:42 שַׁלּ֥וּם Shallum , šal·lūm אֲמַרְיָ֖ה Amariah , ’ă·mar·yāh יוֹסֵֽף׃ס and Joseph . yō·w·sêp̄ Ezra 10:43 מִבְּנֵ֖י [And] from the descendants mib·bə·nê נְב֑וֹ of Nebo : nə·ḇōw יְעִיאֵ֤ל Jeiel , yə·‘î·’êl מַתִּתְיָה֙ Mattithiah , mat·tiṯ·yāh זָבָ֣ד Zabad , zā·ḇāḏ זְבִינָ֔א Zebina , zə·ḇî·nā יַדּוֹ Jaddai , yad·dō וְיוֹאֵ֖ל Joel , wə·yō·w·’êl בְּנָיָֽה׃ and Benaiah . bə·nā·yāh Ezra 10:44 כָּל־ All kāl- אֵ֕לֶּה these [men] ’êl·leh נָשְׂא֖י had married nå̄·śə נָכְרִיּ֑וֹת foreign nā·ḵə·rî·yō·wṯ וְיֵ֣שׁ . . . wə·yêš נָשִׁ֣ים women , nā·šîm מֵהֶ֣ם and [some] of them mê·hem וַיָּשִׂ֖ימוּ had way·yā·śî·mū בָּנִֽים׃פ children bā·nîm נָשִׁ֔ים by these wives . nā·šîm Nehemiah 1:1 דִּבְרֵ֥י [These are] the words diḇ·rê נְחֶמְיָ֖ה of Nehemiah nə·ḥem·yāh בֶּן־ son ben- חֲכַלְיָ֑ה of Hacaliah : ḥă·ḵal·yāh וַיְהִ֤י vvv way·hî בְחֹֽדֶשׁ־ In the month ḇə·ḥō·ḏeš- כִּסְלֵו of Chislev , kis·lēw עֶשְׂרִ֔ים in the twentieth ‘eś·rîm שְׁנַ֣ת year , šə·naṯ וַאֲנִ֥י while I wa·’ă·nî הָיִ֖יתִי was hā·yî·ṯî הַבִּירָֽה׃ in the citadel hab·bî·rāh בְּשׁוּשַׁ֥ן of Susa , bə·šū·šan Nehemiah 1:2 חֲנָ֜נִי Hanani , ḥă·nā·nî אֶחָ֧ד one ’e·ḥāḏ מֵאַחַ֛י of my brothers , mê·’a·ḥay ה֥וּא . . . hū וַיָּבֹ֨א arrived way·yā·ḇō וַאֲנָשִׁ֖ים with men wa·’ă·nā·šîm מִֽיהוּדָ֑ה from Judah . mî·hū·ḏāh וָאֶשְׁאָלֵ֞ם So I questioned them wā·’eš·’ā·lêm עַל־ about ‘al- הַפְּלֵיטָ֛ה the remnant hap·pə·lê·ṭāh הַיְּהוּדִ֧ים of the Jews hay·yə·hū·ḏîm אֲשֶֽׁר־ who ’ă·šer- נִשְׁאֲר֥וּ had survived niš·’ă·rū מִן־ min- הַשֶּׁ֖בִי the exile , haš·še·ḇî וְעַל־ and also about wə·‘al- יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim Nehemiah 1:3 וַיֹּאמְרוּ֮ And they told way·yō·mə·rū לִי֒ me , lî הַֽנִּשְׁאָרִ֞ים “ The remnant han·niš·’ā·rîm אֲשֶֽׁר־ who ’ă·šer- נִשְׁאֲר֤וּ survived niš·’ă·rū מִן־ . . . min- הַשְּׁבִי֙ the exile haš·šə·ḇî שָׁ֣ם [are] there šām בַּמְּדִינָ֔ה in the province , bam·mə·ḏî·nāh גְדֹלָ֖ה in great ḡə·ḏō·lāh בְּרָעָ֥ה trouble bə·rā·‘āh וּבְחֶרְפָּ֑ה and disgrace . ū·ḇə·ḥer·pāh וְחוֹמַ֤ת The wall wə·ḥō·w·maṯ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim מְפֹרָ֔צֶת [is] broken down , mə·p̄ō·rā·ṣeṯ וּשְׁעָרֶ֖יהָ and its gates ū·šə·‘ā·re·hā נִצְּת֥וּ [are burned] niṣ·ṣə·ṯū בָאֵֽשׁ׃ with fire . ” ḇā·’êš Nehemiah 1:4 וַיְהִ֞י - way·hî כְּשָׁמְעִ֣י׀ When I heard kə·šā·mə·‘î אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
