חַ֙סְתָּ֙ cared ḥas·tā עַל־ about ‘al- הַקִּ֣יקָי֔וֹן the plant , haq·qî·qā·yō·wn אֲשֶׁ֛ר which ’ă·šer לֹא־ you neither lō- עָמַ֥לְתָּ tended ‘ā·mal·tā בּ֖וֹ bōw וְלֹ֣א nor wə·lō גִדַּלְתּ֑וֹ made grow . ḡid·dal·tōw הָיָ֖ה It sprang up hā·yāh שֶׁבִּן־ in a night šeb·bin- לַ֥יְלָה . . . lay·lāh אָבָֽד׃ and perished ’ā·ḇāḏ וּבִן־ in a night ū·ḇin- לַ֥יְלָה . . . . lay·lāh Jonah 4:11 וַֽאֲנִי֙ So should I wa·’ă·nî לֹ֣א not lō אָח֔וּס care ’ā·ḥūs עַל־ about ‘al- הַגְּדוֹלָ֑ה the great hag·gə·ḏō·w·lāh הָעִ֣יר city hā·‘îr נִינְוֵ֖ה of Nineveh , nî·nə·wêh אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ’ă·šer יֶשׁ־ has yeš- בָּ֡הּ bāh הַרְבֵּה֩ more than har·bêh מִֽשְׁתֵּים־ 120,000 {} miš·têm- עֶשְׂרֵ֨ה . . . ‘eś·rêh רִבּ֜וֹ . . . rib·bōw אָדָ֗ם people ’ā·ḏām אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ cannot lō- יָדַע֙ tell yā·ḏa‘ בֵּין־ . . . bên- יְמִינ֣וֹ their right hand yə·mî·nōw לִשְׂמֹאל֔וֹ from their left , liś·mō·lōw רַבָּֽה׃ and many rab·bāh וּבְהֵמָ֖ה cattle as well ? ” ū·ḇə·hê·māh Micah 1:1 דְּבַר־ [This is] the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֣ה׀ of YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer הָיָ֗ה came hā·yāh אֶל־ to ’el- מִיכָה֙ Micah mî·ḵāh הַמֹּ֣רַשְׁתִּ֔י the Moreshite ham·mō·raš·tî בִּימֵ֥י in the days bî·mê יוֹתָ֛ם of Jotham , yō·w·ṯām אָחָ֥ז Ahaz , ’ā·ḥāz יְחִזְקִיָּ֖ה and Hezekiah , yə·ḥiz·qî·yāh מַלְכֵ֣י kings mal·ḵê יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah — yə·hū·ḏāh אֲשֶׁר־ what ’ă·šer- חָזָ֥ה he saw ḥā·zāh עַל־ regarding ‘al- שֹׁמְר֖וֹן Samaria šō·mə·rō·wn וִירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ and Jerusalem : wî·rū·šā·lim Micah 1:2 שִׁמְעוּ֙ Hear , šim·‘ū עַמִּ֣ים O peoples , ‘am·mîm כֻּלָּ֔ם all of you ; kul·lām הַקְשִׁ֖יבִי listen , haq·šî·ḇî אֶ֣רֶץ O earth , ’e·reṣ וּמְלֹאָ֑הּ and everyone in it ! ū·mə·lō·’āh אֲדֹנָ֨י May the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh וִיהִי֩ bear wî·hî לְעֵ֔ד witness lə·‘êḏ בָּכֶם֙ against you , bā·ḵem אֲדֹנָ֖י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ from His holy qā·ḏə·šōw מֵהֵיכַ֥ל temple . mê·hê·ḵal Micah 1:3 כִּֽי־ For kî- הִנֵּ֥ה behold , hin·nêh יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh יֹצֵ֣א comes forth yō·ṣê מִמְּקוֹמ֑וֹ from His dwelling place ; mim·mə·qō·w·mōw וְיָרַ֥ד He will come down wə·yā·raḏ וְדָרַ֖ךְ and tread wə·ḏā·raḵ עַל־ on ‘al- בָּמוֹתֵי the high places bå̄·mō·ṯē אָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth . ’ā·reṣ Micah 1:4 הֶֽהָרִים֙ The mountains he·hā·rîm וְנָמַ֤סּוּ will melt wə·nā·mas·sū תַּחְתָּ֔יו beneath Him , taḥ·tāw וְהָעֲמָקִ֖ים and the valleys wə·hā·‘ă·mā·qîm יִתְבַּקָּ֑עוּ will split apart , yiṯ·baq·qā·‘ū
