גֻּדְלֽוֹ׃ greatness . guḏ·lōw Psalm 150:3 הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ Praise Him hal·lū·hū בְּתֵ֣קַע with the sound bə·ṯê·qa‘ שׁוֹפָ֑ר of the horn ; šō·w·p̄ār הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ praise Him hal·lū·hū בְּנֵ֣בֶל with the harp bə·nê·ḇel וְכִנּֽוֹר׃ and lyre . wə·ḵin·nō·wr Psalm 150:4 הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ Praise Him hal·lū·hū בְתֹ֣ף with tambourine ḇə·ṯōp̄ וּמָח֑וֹל and dancing ; ū·mā·ḥō·wl הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ praise Him hal·lū·hū בְּמִנִּ֥ים with strings bə·min·nîm וְעוּגָֽב׃ and flute . wə·‘ū·ḡāḇ Psalm 150:5 הַֽלְל֥וּהוּ Praise Him hal·lū·hū שָׁ֑מַע with clashing šā·ma‘ בְצִלְצְלֵי־ cymbals ; ḇə·ṣil·ṣə·lê- הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ praise Him hal·lū·hū תְרוּעָֽה׃ with resounding ṯə·rū·‘āh בְּֽצִלְצְלֵ֥י cymbals . bə·ṣil·ṣə·lê Psalm 150:6 כֹּ֣ל Let everything kōl הַ֭נְּשָׁמָה that has breath han·nə·šā·māh תְּהַלֵּ֥ל praise tə·hal·lêl יָ֗הּ YHWH ! yāh הַֽלְלוּ־ Hallelujah hal·lū- יָֽהּ׃ . . . ! yāh Proverbs 1:1 מִ֭שְׁלֵי [These are] the proverbs miš·lê שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה of Solomon šə·lō·mōh בֶן־ son ḇen- דָּוִ֑ד of David , dā·wiḏ מֶ֝֗לֶךְ king me·leḵ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl Proverbs 1:2 לָדַ֣עַת for gaining lā·ḏa·‘aṯ חָכְמָ֣ה wisdom ḥāḵ·māh וּמוּסָ֑ר and discipline , ū·mū·sār לְ֝הָבִ֗ין for comprehending lə·hā·ḇîn אִמְרֵ֥י words ’im·rê בִינָֽה׃ of insight , ḇî·nāh Proverbs 1:3 לָ֭קַחַת [and] for receiving lā·qa·ḥaṯ מוּסַ֣ר instruction mū·sar הַשְׂכֵּ֑ל in wise living haś·kêl צֶ֥דֶק and in righteousness , ṣe·ḏeq וּ֝מִשְׁפָּ֗ט justice , ū·miš·pāṭ וּמֵישָׁרִֽים׃ and equity . ū·mê·šā·rîm Proverbs 1:4 לָתֵ֣ת To impart lā·ṯêṯ עָרְמָ֑ה prudence ‘ā·rə·māh לִפְתָאיִ֣ם to the simple lip̄·ṯā·yim דַּ֣עַת [and] knowledge da·‘aṯ וּמְזִמָּֽה׃ and discretion ū·mə·zim·māh לְ֝נַ֗עַר to the young , lə·na·‘ar Proverbs 1:5 חָ֭כָם {let} the wise ḥā·ḵām יִשְׁמַ֣ע listen yiš·ma‘ וְי֣וֹסֶף and gain wə·yō·w·sep̄ לֶ֑קַח instruction , le·qaḥ וְ֝נָב֗וֹן and the discerning wə·nā·ḇō·wn יִקְנֶֽה׃ acquire yiq·neh תַּחְבֻּל֥וֹת wise counsel taḥ·bu·lō·wṯ Proverbs 1:6 לְהָבִ֣ין by understanding lə·hā·ḇîn מָ֭שָׁל the proverbs mā·šāl וּמְלִיצָ֑ה and parables , ū·mə·lî·ṣāh דִּבְרֵ֥י the sayings diḇ·rê וְחִידֹתָֽם׃ and riddles wə·ḥî·ḏō·ṯām חֲ֝כָמִ֗ים of the wise . ḥă·ḵā·mîm Proverbs 1:7 יִרְאַ֣ת The fear yir·’aṯ יְ֭הוָה of YHWH Yah·weh רֵאשִׁ֣ית [is] the beginning rê·šîṯ דָּ֑עַת of knowledge , dā·‘aṯ אֱוִילִ֥ים [but] fools ’ĕ·wî·lîm
