Psalm 148:7 הַֽלְל֣וּ Praise hal·lū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְ֭הוָה YHWH Yah·weh מִן־ from min- הָאָ֑רֶץ the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ וְכָל־ all wə·ḵāl תַּ֝נִּינִ֗ים great sea creatures tan·nî·nîm תְּהֹמֽוֹת׃ and ocean depths , tə·hō·mō·wṯ Psalm 148:8 אֵ֣שׁ lightning ’êš וּ֭בָרָד and hail , ū·ḇā·rāḏ שֶׁ֣לֶג snow še·leḡ וְקִיט֑וֹר and clouds , wə·qî·ṭō·wr סְ֝עָרָ֗ה powerful sə·‘ā·rāh ר֥וּחַ wind rū·aḥ עֹשָׂ֥ה fulfilling ‘ō·śāh דְבָרֽוֹ׃ His word , ḏə·ḇā·rōw Psalm 148:9 הֶהָרִ֥ים mountains he·hā·rîm וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl גְּבָע֑וֹת hills , gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ פְּ֝רִ֗י fruit pə·rî עֵ֥ץ trees ‘êṣ וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl אֲרָזִֽים׃ cedars , ’ă·rā·zîm Psalm 148:10 הַֽחַיָּ֥ה wild animals ha·ḥay·yāh וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl בְּהֵמָ֑ה cattle , bə·hê·māh רֶ֝֗מֶשׂ crawling creatures re·meś כָּנָֽף׃ and flying kā·nāp̄ וְצִפּ֥וֹר birds , wə·ṣip·pō·wr Psalm 148:11 מַלְכֵי־ kings mal·ḵê- אֶ֭רֶץ of the earth ’e·reṣ וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl לְאֻמִּ֑ים peoples , lə·’um·mîm שָׂ֝רִ֗ים princes rîm וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl שֹׁ֥פְטֵי rulers šō·p̄ə·ṭê אָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth , ’ā·reṣ Psalm 148:12 בַּחוּרִ֥ים young men ba·ḥū·rîm וְגַם־ and wə·ḡam- בְּתוּל֑וֹת maidens , bə·ṯū·lō·wṯ זְ֝קֵנִ֗ים old zə·qê·nîm עִם־ and ‘im- נְעָרִֽים׃ young together . nə·‘ā·rîm Psalm 148:13 יְהַלְל֤וּ׀ Let them praise yə·hal·lū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שֵׁ֬ם the name šêm יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כִּֽי־ for kî- שְׁמ֣וֹ His name šə·mōw לְבַדּ֑וֹ alone lə·ḇad·dōw נִשְׂגָּ֣ב is exalted ; niś·gāḇ ה֝וֹד֗וֹ His splendor hō·w·ḏōw עַל־ [is] above ‘al- אֶ֥רֶץ the earth ’e·reṣ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃ and the heavens . wə·šā·mā·yim Psalm 148:14 וַיָּ֤רֶם He has raised up way·yā·rem קֶ֨רֶן׀ a horn qe·ren לְעַמּ֡וֹ for His people , lə·‘am·mōw תְּהִלָּ֤ה the praise tə·hil·lāh לְֽכָל־ of all lə·ḵāl חֲסִידָ֗יו His saints , ḥă·sî·ḏāw לִבְנֵ֣י of Israel liḇ·nê יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל . . . , yiś·rā·’êl עַֽם־ a people ‘am- קְרֹב֗וֹ near to Him . qə·rō·ḇōw הַֽלְלוּ־ Hallelujah hal·lū- יָֽהּ׃ . . . ! yāh Psalm 149:1 הַ֥לְלוּ Hallelujah hal·lū יָ֨הּ׀ . . . ! yāh שִׁ֣ירוּ Sing šî·rū לַֽ֭יהוָה to YHWH Yah·weh חָדָ֑שׁ a new ḥā·ḏāš שִׁ֣יר song — šîr
