אֲשֶׁר֙ whom ’ă·šer יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh יְדָע֣וֹ knew yə·ḏā·‘ōw פָּנִ֖ים face pā·nîm אֶל־ to ’el- פָּנִֽים׃ face — pā·nîm Deuteronomy 34:11 לְכָל־ [no prophet who did] all lə·ḵāl הָ֨אֹת֜וֹת the signs hā·’ō·ṯō·wṯ וְהַמּוֹפְתִ֗ים and wonders wə·ham·mō·wp̄·ṯîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh שְׁלָחוֹ֙ sent [Moses] šə·lā·ḥōw לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת to do la·‘ă·śō·wṯ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt miṣ·rā·yim לְפַרְעֹ֥ה to Pharaoh lə·p̄ar·‘ōh וּלְכָל־ and to all ū·lə·ḵāl- עֲבָדָ֖יו his officials ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וּלְכָל־ and all ū·lə·ḵāl- אַרְצֽוֹ׃ his land , ’ar·ṣōw Deuteronomy 34:12 עָשָׂ֣ה [and no prophet who] performed ‘ā·śāh וּלְכֹל֙ all ū·lə·ḵōl הַחֲזָקָ֔ה the mighty ha·ḥă·zā·qāh הַיָּ֣ד acts of power hay·yāḏ וּלְכֹ֖ל and ū·lə·ḵōl הַמּוֹרָ֣א awesome deeds ham·mō·w·rā הַגָּד֑וֹל . . . hag·gā·ḏō·wl אֲשֶׁר֙ that ’ă·šer מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses [did] mō·šeh לְעֵינֵ֖י in the sight lə·‘ê·nê כָּל־ of all kāl- יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Israel . yiś·rā·’êl Joshua 1:1 וַיְהִ֗י Now way·hî אַחֲרֵ֛י after ’a·ḥă·rê מ֥וֹת the death mō·wṯ יְהוָ֑ה of His Yah·weh עֶ֣בֶד servant ‘e·ḇeḏ מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses , mō·šeh יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר spoke way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ בִּן־ son bin- נ֔וּן of Nun , nūn מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses’ mō·šeh מְשָׁרֵ֥ת assistant , mə·šā·rêṯ לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Joshua 1:2 מֹשֶׁ֥ה “ Moses mō·šeh עַבְדִּ֖י My servant ‘aḇ·dî מֵ֑ת is dead . mêṯ וְעַתָּה֩ Now therefore wə·‘at·tāh ק֨וּם arise , qūm אַתָּה֙ you ’at·tāh וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl הָעָ֣ם these people , hā·‘ām עֲבֹ֜ר [and] cross over ‘ă·ḇōr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַיַּרְדֵּ֣ן the Jordan hay·yar·dên הַזֶּ֗ה - haz·zeh הַזֶּ֔ה - haz·zeh אֶל־ into ’el- הָאָ֕רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֧ר that ’ă·šer אָנֹכִ֛י I ’ā·nō·ḵî נֹתֵ֥ן am giving nō·ṯên לָהֶ֖ם to lā·hem לִבְנֵ֥י the children liḇ·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl Joshua 1:3 נְתַתִּ֑יו I have given you nə·ṯat·tîw כָּל־ every kāl- מָק֗וֹם place mā·qō·wm אֲשֶׁ֨ר where ’ă·šer כַּֽף־ the sole kap̄- רַגְלְכֶ֛ם of your foot raḡ·lə·ḵem בּ֖וֹ bōw לָכֶ֣ם lā·ḵem תִּדְרֹ֧ךְ will tread , tiḏ·rōḵ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר just as ka·’ă·šer דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי I promised dib·bar·tî אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Moses . mō·šeh Joshua 1:4 גְּבוּלְכֶֽם׃ Your territory gə·ḇū·lə·ḵem
