אָ֛ז then ’āz תַּצְלִ֥יחַ you will prosper taṣ·lî·aḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תַּשְׂכִּֽיל׃ and succeed taś·kîl דְּרָכֶ֖ךָ in all you do də·rā·ḵe·ḵā וְאָ֥ז . . . . wə·’āz Joshua 1:9 הֲל֤וֹא Have I not hă·lō·w צִוִּיתִ֙יךָ֙ commanded you ṣiw·wî·ṯî·ḵā חֲזַ֣ק to be strong ḥă·zaq וֶאֱמָ֔ץ and courageous ? we·’ĕ·māṣ אַֽל־ Do not ’al- תַּעֲרֹ֖ץ be afraid ; ta·‘ă·rōṣ וְאַל־ . . . wə·’al- תֵּחָ֑ת do not be discouraged , tê·ḥāṯ כִּ֤י for kî יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā עִמְּךָ֙ is with ‘im·mə·ḵā בְּכֹ֖ל you wherever bə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer תֵּלֵֽךְ׃פ you go . ” tê·lêḵ Joshua 1:10 יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ Then Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיְצַ֣ו commanded way·ṣaw שֹׁטְרֵ֥י the officers šō·ṭə·rê הָעָ֖ם of the people hā·‘ām לֵאמֹֽר׃ . . . : lê·mōr Joshua 1:11 עִבְר֣וּ׀ “ Go ‘iḇ·rū בְּקֶ֣רֶב through bə·qe·reḇ הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֗ה the camp ham·ma·ḥă·neh וְצַוּ֤וּ and tell wə·ṣaw·wū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָעָם֙ the people , hā·‘ām לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr הָכִ֥ינוּ ‘ Prepare hā·ḵî·nū לָכֶ֖ם your lā·ḵem צֵידָ֑ה provisions , ṣê·ḏāh כִּ֞י for kî בְּע֣וֹד׀ within bə·‘ō·wḏ שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת three šə·lō·šeṯ יָמִ֗ים days yā·mîm אַתֶּם֙ you ’at·tem עֹֽבְרִים֙ will cross ‘ō·ḇə·rîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֶּ֔ה the haz·zeh הַיַּרְדֵּ֣ן Jordan hay·yar·dên לָבוֹא֙ to go in lā·ḇō·w לָרֶ֣שֶׁת and take possession of lā·re·šeṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁר֙ that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem נֹתֵ֥ן is giving nō·ṯên לָכֶ֖ם you lā·ḵem לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ס to possess . ’” lə·riš·tāh Joshua 1:12 וְלָרֽאוּבֵנִי֙ But to the Reubenites , wə·lā·r·’ū·ḇê·nî וְלַגָּדִ֔י the Gadites , wə·lag·gā·ḏî וְלַחֲצִ֖י and the half-tribe wə·la·ḥă·ṣî שֵׁ֣בֶט . . . šê·ḇeṭ הַֽמְנַשֶּׁ֑ה of Manasseh , ham·naš·šeh יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ לֵאמֹֽר׃ . . . lê·mōr אָמַ֥ר said , ’ā·mar Joshua 1:13 זָכוֹר֙ “ Remember zā·ḵō·wr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַדָּבָ֔ר - had·dā·ḇār אֲשֶׁ֨ר what ’ă·šer מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh עֶֽבֶד־ the servant ‘e·ḇeḏ- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh צִוָּ֥ה commanded ṣiw·wāh אֶתְכֶ֛ם you ’eṯ·ḵem לֵאמֹ֑ר when he said , lê·mōr יְהוָ֤ה ‘ YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶם֙ your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem מֵנִ֣יחַ will give you rest mê·nî·aḥ לָכֶ֔ם , lā·ḵem וְנָתַ֥ן and He will give wə·nā·ṯan לָכֶ֖ם you lā·ḵem אֶת־ ’eṯ- הַזֹּֽאת׃ this haz·zōṯ הָאָ֥רֶץ land . ’ hā·’ā·reṣ
