יִשָּׂשכָר֙ of Issachar yiś·śā·š·ḵār אֶחָ֔ד , ’e·ḥāḏ שַׁ֥עַר and the gate ša·‘ar זְבוּלֻ֖ן of Zebulun zə·ḇū·lun אֶחָֽד׃ . ’e·ḥāḏ Ezekiel 48:34 יָ֗מָּה And on the west yām·māh פְּאַת־ side , pə·’aṯ- חֲמֵ֤שׁ which will be 4,500 [cubits long] ḥă·mêš מֵאוֹת֙ . . . mê·’ō·wṯ וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת . . . wə·’ar·ba·‘aṯ אֲלָפִ֔ים . . . , ’ă·lā·p̄îm שְׁלֹשָׁ֑ה there will be three šə·lō·šāh שַֽׁעֲרֵיהֶ֖ם gates : ša·‘ă·rê·hem שַׁ֣עַר the gate ša·‘ar גָּ֞ד of Gad gāḏ אֶחָ֗ד , ’e·ḥāḏ שַׁ֤עַר the gate ša·‘ar אָשֵׁר֙ of Asher ’ā·šêr אֶחָ֔ד , ’e·ḥāḏ שַׁ֥עַר and the gate ša·‘ar נַפְתָּלִ֖י of Naphtali nap̄·tā·lî אֶחָֽד׃ . ’e·ḥāḏ Ezekiel 48:35 סָבִ֕יב The perimeter sā·ḇîḇ שְׁמֹנָ֥ה [of the city will be] 18,000 [cubits] šə·mō·nāh עָשָׂ֖ר . . . ‘ā·śār אָ֑לֶף . . . , ’ā·lep̄ מִיּ֖וֹם and from [that] day on mî·yō·wm וְשֵׁם־ the name wə·šêm- הָעִ֥יר of the city [will be] : hā·‘îr יְהוָ֥ה׀ YHWH Yah·weh שָֽׁמָּה׃ [IS] THERE . ” šām·māh Daniel 1:1 שָׁל֔וֹשׁ In the third šā·lō·wōš בִּשְׁנַ֣ת year biš·naṯ לְמַלְכ֖וּת of the reign lə·mal·ḵūṯ יְהוֹיָקִ֣ים of Jehoiakim yə·hō·w·yā·qîm מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֧ר Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֛ל of Babylon bā·ḇel בָּ֣א came bā יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם to Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim וַיָּ֥צַר and besieged way·yā·ṣar עָלֶֽיהָ׃ it . ‘ā·le·hā Daniel 1:2 אֲדֹנָ֨י And the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy וַיִּתֵּן֩ delivered way·yit·tên בְּיָד֜וֹ into his hand bə·yā·ḏōw יְהוֹיָקִ֣ים Jehoiakim yə·hō·w·yā·qîm מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָ֗ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וּמִקְצָת֙ along with some ū·miq·ṣāṯ כְּלֵ֣י of the articles kə·lê בֵית־ from the house ḇêṯ- הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים of God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיְבִיאֵ֥ם He carried [these] off way·ḇî·’êm אֶֽרֶץ־ to the land ’e·reṣ- שִׁנְעָ֖ר of Shinar , šin·‘ār בֵּ֣ית to the house bêṯ אֱלֹהָ֑יו of his god , ’ĕ·lō·hāw וְאֶת־ [where] wə·’eṯ- הֵבִ֔יא he put hê·ḇî הַכֵּלִ֣ים [them] hak·kê·lîm בֵּ֖ית vvv bêṯ אוֹצַ֥ר in the treasury ’ō·w·ṣar אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ of his god . ’ĕ·lō·hāw Daniel 1:3 הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ Then the king ham·me·leḵ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ordered way·yō·mer לְאַשְׁפְּנַ֖ז Ashpenaz , lə·’aš·pə·naz רַ֣ב the chief raḇ סָרִיסָ֑יו of his court officials , sā·rî·sāw לְהָבִ֞יא to bring in lə·hā·ḇî וּמִן־ some ū·min- מִבְּנֵ֧י Israelites mib·bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl הַמְּלוּכָ֖ה from the royal ham·mə·lū·ḵāh וּמִזֶּ֥רַע family ū·miz·ze·ra‘ הַֽפַּרְתְּמִֽים׃ and the nobility — hap·par·tə·mîm Daniel 1:4 יְלָדִ֣ים young men yə·lā·ḏîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer אֵֽין־ without ’ên- בָּהֶ֣ם bā·hem
