אֶל־ in the presence of ’el- יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ our God ; ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū יִפְחָ֔דוּ they will tremble yip̄·ḥā·ḏū וְיִֽרְא֖וּ in fear wə·yir·’ū מִמֶּֽךָּ׃ of You . mim·me·kā Micah 7:18 מִי־ Who mî- אֵ֣ל is a God ’êl כָּמ֗וֹךָ like You , kā·mō·w·ḵā נֹשֵׂ֤א who pardons nō·śê עָוֺן֙ iniquity ‘ā·wōn וְעֹבֵ֣ר and passes wə·‘ō·ḇêr עַל־ over ‘al- פֶּ֔שַׁע the transgression pe·ša‘ לִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית of the remnant liš·’ê·rîṯ נַחֲלָת֑וֹ of His inheritance — na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw לֹא־ who does not lō- הֶחֱזִ֤יק retain he·ḥĕ·zîq אַפּ֔וֹ His anger ’ap·pōw לָעַד֙ forever , lā·‘aḏ כִּֽי־ because kî- הֽוּא׃ He hū חָפֵ֥ץ delights ḥā·p̄êṣ חֶ֖סֶד in loving devotion ? ḥe·seḏ Micah 7:19 יָשׁ֣וּב He will again yā·šūḇ יְרַֽחֲמֵ֔נוּ have compassion on us ; yə·ra·ḥă·mê·nū יִכְבֹּ֖שׁ He will vanquish yiḵ·bōš עֲוֺֽנֹתֵ֑ינוּ our iniquities . ‘ă·wō·nō·ṯê·nū וְתַשְׁלִ֛יךְ You will cast out wə·ṯaš·lîḵ כָּל־ all kāl- חַטֹּאותָֽם׃ our sins ḥaṭ·ṭō·w·ṯām בִּמְצֻל֥וֹת into the depths bim·ṣu·lō·wṯ יָ֖ם of the sea . yām Micah 7:20 תִּתֵּ֤ן You will show tit·tên אֱמֶת֙ faithfulness ’ĕ·meṯ לְיַֽעֲקֹ֔ב to Jacob lə·ya·‘ă·qōḇ חֶ֖סֶד and loving devotion ḥe·seḏ לְאַבְרָהָ֑ם to Abraham , lə·’aḇ·rā·hām אֲשֶׁר־ as ’ă·šer- נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתָּ You swore niš·ba‘·tā לַאֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּ to our fathers la·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū מִ֥ימֵי from the days mî·mê קֶֽדֶם׃ of old . qe·ḏem Nahum 1:1 מַשָּׂ֖א This is the burden maś·śā נִֽינְוֵ֑ה against Nineveh , nî·nə·wêh סֵ֧פֶר the book sê·p̄er חֲז֛וֹן of the vision ḥă·zō·wn נַח֖וּם of Nahum na·ḥūm הָאֶלְקֹשִֽׁי׃ the Elkoshite : hā·’el·qō·šî Nahum 1:2 יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh קַנּ֤וֹא is a jealous qan·nō·w וְנֹקֵם֙ and avenging wə·nō·qêm אֵ֣ל God ; ’êl יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh נֹקֵ֥ם is avenging nō·qêm וּבַ֣עַל and full ū·ḇa·‘al חֵמָ֑ה of wrath . ḥê·māh יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh נֹקֵ֤ם takes vengeance nō·qêm לְצָרָ֔יו on His foes lə·ṣā·rāw ה֖וּא - hū וְנוֹטֵ֥ר and reserves [wrath] wə·nō·w·ṭêr לְאֹיְבָֽיו׃ for His enemies . lə·’ō·yə·ḇāw Nahum 1:3 יְהֹוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶ֤רֶךְ is slow ’e·reḵ אַפַּ֙יִם֙ to anger ’ap·pa·yim וּגְדוֹל and great ū·ḡə·ḏōl כֹּ֔חַ in power ; kō·aḥ יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh לֹ֣א will by no means lō וְנַקֵּ֖ה leave the guilty unpunished wə·naq·qêh יְנַקֶּ֑ה . . . . yə·naq·qeh דַּרְכּ֔וֹ His path dar·kōw בְּסוּפָ֤ה is in the whirlwind bə·sū·p̄āh וּבִשְׂעָרָה֙ and storm , ū·ḇiś·‘ā·rāh וְעָנָ֖ן and clouds wə·‘ā·nān אֲבַ֥ק are the dust ’ă·ḇaq רַגְלָֽיו׃ beneath His feet . raḡ·lāw Nahum 1:4 גּוֹעֵ֤ר He rebukes gō·w·‘êr
