קַבְּצִ֣י I will gather qab·bə·ṣî אֶתְכֶ֑ם you . ’eṯ·ḵem כִּֽי־ For kî- אֶתֵּ֨ן I will give ’et·tên אֶתְכֶ֜ם you ’eṯ·ḵem לְשֵׁ֣ם fame lə·šêm וְלִתְהִלָּ֗ה and praise wə·liṯ·hil·lāh בְּכֹל֙ among all bə·ḵōl עַמֵּ֣י the peoples ‘am·mê הָאָ֔רֶץ of the earth hā·’ā·reṣ בְּשׁוּבִ֧י when I restore bə·šū·ḇî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁבוּתֵיכֶ֛ם your captives šə·ḇū·ṯê·ḵem לְעֵינֵיכֶ֖ם before your very eyes , ” lə·‘ê·nê·ḵem אָמַ֥ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Haggai 1:1 שְׁתַּ֙יִם֙ In the second šə·ta·yim בִּשְׁנַ֤ת year biš·naṯ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ of the reign ham·me·leḵ לְדָרְיָ֣וֶשׁ of Darius , lə·ḏā·rə·yā·weš אֶחָ֖ד on the first ’e·ḥāḏ לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ . . . la·ḥō·ḏeš בְּי֥וֹם day bə·yō·wm הַשִּׁשִּׁ֔י of the sixth haš·šiš·šî בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ month , ba·ḥō·ḏeš דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֜ה of YHWH Yah·weh הָיָ֨ה came hā·yāh בְּיַד־ through bə·yaḏ- חַגַּ֣י Haggai ḥag·gay הַנָּבִ֗יא the prophet han·nā·ḇî אֶל־ to ’el- זְרֻבָּבֶ֤ל Zerubbabel zə·rub·bā·ḇel בֶּן־ son ben- שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל֙ of Shealtiel , šə·’al·tî·’êl פַּחַ֣ת governor pa·ḥaṯ יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh וְאֶל־ and to wə·’el- יְהוֹשֻׁ֧עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ בֶּן־ son ben- יְהוֹצָדָ֛ק of Jehozadak , yə·hō·w·ṣā·ḏāq הַגָּד֖וֹל the high hag·gā·ḏō·wl הַכֹּהֵ֥ן priest , hak·kō·hên לֵאמֹֽר׃ stating lê·mōr Haggai 1:2 כֹּ֥ה that this is what kōh יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַ֛ר says : ’ā·mar הַזֶּה֙ “ These haz·zeh אָֽמְר֔וּ . . . ’ā·mə·rū הָעָ֤ם people hā·‘ām לֵאמֹ֑ר say , lê·mōr עֶת־ ‘ The time ‘eṯ- לֹ֥א has not yet lō בֹּ֛א come bō עֶת־ . . . ‘eṯ- לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃פ to rebuild lə·hib·bā·nō·wṯ בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH . ’” Yah·weh Haggai 1:3 דְּבַר־ Then the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַֽיְהִי֙ came way·hî בְּיַד־ through bə·yaḏ- חַגַּ֥י Haggai ḥag·gay הַנָּבִ֖יא the prophet , han·nā·ḇî לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying : lê·mōr Haggai 1:4 הַעֵ֤ת “ Is it a time ha·‘êṯ לָכֶם֙ for you lā·ḵem אַתֶּ֔ם yourselves ’at·tem לָשֶׁ֖בֶת to live lā·še·ḇeṯ סְפוּנִ֑ים in your paneled sə·p̄ū·nîm בְּבָתֵּיכֶ֣ם houses , bə·ḇāt·tê·ḵem הַזֶּ֖ה while this haz·zeh וְהַבַּ֥יִת house wə·hab·ba·yiṯ חָרֵֽב׃ lies in ruins ? ” ḥā·rêḇ Haggai 1:5 וְעַתָּ֕ה Now wə·‘at·tāh כֹּ֥ה this is what kōh יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֑וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַ֖ר says : ’ā·mar שִׂ֥ימוּ “ Consider carefully śî·mū לְבַבְכֶ֖ם . . . lə·ḇaḇ·ḵem עַל־ . . . ‘al- דַּרְכֵיכֶֽם׃ your ways . dar·ḵê·ḵem
