לֹ֥א but you will not lō תַעֲבֹֽר׃ cross into it . ” ṯa·‘ă·ḇōr Deuteronomy 34:5 מֹשֶׁ֧ה So Moses mō·šeh עֶֽבֶד־ the servant ‘e·ḇeḏ- יְהוָ֛ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיָּ֨מָת died way·yā·māṯ שָׁ֜ם there šām בְּאֶ֥רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מוֹאָ֖ב of Moab , mō·w·’āḇ עַל־ as ‘al- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH Yah·weh פִּ֥י had said . pî Deuteronomy 34:6 וַיִּקְבֹּ֨ר And He buried way·yiq·bōr אֹת֤וֹ him ’ō·ṯōw בַגַּיְ֙ in a valley ḇag·gay בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מוֹאָ֔ב of Moab mō·w·’āḇ מ֖וּל facing mūl בֵּ֣ית vvv bêṯ פְּע֑וֹר Beth-peor , pə·‘ō·wr וְלֹֽא־ and no wə·lō- אִישׁ֙ one ’îš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַ֖ד to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day hay·yō·wm יָדַ֥ע knows yā·ḏa‘ קְבֻ֣רָת֔וֹ the location of his grave . qə·ḇu·rā·ṯōw Deuteronomy 34:7 וּמֹשֶׁ֗ה Moses [was] ū·mō·šeh מֵאָ֧ה a hundred mê·’āh וְעֶשְׂרִ֛ים and twenty wə·‘eś·rîm בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָ֖ה . . . šā·nāh בְּמֹת֑וֹ when he died , bə·mō·ṯōw עֵינ֖וֹ yet his eyes ‘ê·nōw לֹֽא־ were not lō- כָהֲתָ֥ה weak , ḵā·hă·ṯāh לֵחֹֽה׃ and his vitality lê·ḥōh וְלֹא־ had not wə·lō- נָ֥ס diminished . nās Deuteronomy 34:8 בְנֵ֨י The Israelites ḇə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּבְכּוּ֩ grieved way·yiḇ·kū מֹשֶׁ֛ה for Moses mō·šeh בְּעַֽרְבֹ֥ת in the plains bə·‘ar·ḇōṯ מוֹאָ֖ב of Moab mō·w·’āḇ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים thirty šə·lō·šîm י֑וֹם days , yō·wm יְמֵ֥י until the time yə·mê בְכִ֖י of weeping ḇə·ḵî אֵ֥בֶל and mourning ’ê·ḇel מֹשֶֽׁה׃ for Moses mō·šeh וַֽיִּתְּמ֔וּ came to an end . way·yit·tə·mū Deuteronomy 34:9 וִֽיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ Now Joshua wî·hō·wō·šu·a‘ בִּן־ son bin- נ֗וּן of Nun nūn מָלֵא֙ was filled mā·lê ר֣וּחַ with the spirit rū·aḥ חָכְמָ֔ה of wisdom ḥāḵ·māh כִּֽי־ because kî- מֹשֶׁ֛ה Moses mō·šeh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- סָמַ֥ךְ had laid sā·maḵ יָדָ֖יו his hands yā·ḏāw עָלָ֑יו on him . ‘ā·lāw בְּנֵֽי־ So the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ . . . yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּשְׁמְע֨וּ obeyed way·yiš·mə·‘ū אֵלָ֤יו him ’ê·lāw וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֔וּ and did way·ya·‘ă·śū כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִוָּ֥ה had commanded ṣiw·wāh מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Moses . mō·šeh Deuteronomy 34:10 ע֛וֹד Since that time , ‘ō·wḏ וְלֹֽא־ no wə·lō- נָבִ֥יא prophet nā·ḇî קָ֨ם has risen qām בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל in Israel bə·yiś·rā·’êl כְּמֹשֶׁ֑ה like Moses , kə·mō·šeh
