וַיֹּאכַ֖ל and fed him way·yō·ḵal תְּנוּבֹ֣ת the produce tə·nū·ḇōṯ שָׂדָ֑י of the field . śā·ḏāy וַיֵּנִקֵ֤הֽוּ He nourished him way·yê·ni·qê·hū דְבַשׁ֙ with honey ḏə·ḇaš מִסֶּ֔לַע from the rock mis·se·la‘ וְשֶׁ֖מֶן and oil wə·še·men מֵחַלְמִ֥ישׁ from the flinty mê·ḥal·mîš צֽוּר׃ crag , ṣūr Deuteronomy 32:14 חֶמְאַ֨ת with curds ḥem·’aṯ בָּקָ֜ר from the herd bā·qār וַחֲלֵ֣ב and milk wa·ḥă·lêḇ צֹ֗אן from the flock , ṣōn עִם־ with ‘im- חֵ֨לֶב the fat ḥê·leḇ כָּרִ֜ים of lambs , kā·rîm וְאֵילִ֤ים with rams wə·’ê·lîm בְּנֵֽי־ from Bashan bə·nê- בָשָׁן֙ . . . , ḇā·šān וְעַתּוּדִ֔ים and goats , wə·‘at·tū·ḏîm עִם־ with ‘im- חֵ֖לֶב the choicest ḥê·leḇ כִּלְי֣וֹת grains kil·yō·wṯ חִטָּ֑ה of wheat . ḥiṭ·ṭāh וְדַם־ From the juice wə·ḏam- עֵנָ֖ב of the finest grapes ‘ê·nāḇ תִּשְׁתֶּה־ you drank tiš·teh- חָֽמֶר׃ the wine . ḥā·mer Deuteronomy 32:15 יְשֻׁרוּן֙ But Jeshurun yə·šu·rūn וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ן grew fat way·yiš·man וַיִּבְעָ֔ט and kicked — way·yiḇ·‘āṭ שָׁמַ֖נְתָּ becoming fat , šā·man·tā עָבִ֣יתָ bloated , ‘ā·ḇî·ṯā כָּשִׂ֑יתָ and gorged . kā·śî·ṯā וַיִּטֹּשׁ֙ He abandoned way·yiṭ·ṭōš אֱל֣וֹהַ the God ’ĕ·lō·w·ha עָשָׂ֔הוּ who made him ‘ā·śā·hū וַיְנַבֵּ֖ל and scorned way·nab·bêl צ֥וּר the Rock ṣūr יְשֻׁעָתֽוֹ׃ of his salvation . yə·šu·‘ā·ṯōw Deuteronomy 32:16 יַקְנִאֻ֖הוּ They provoked His jealousy yaq·ni·’u·hū בְּזָרִ֑ים with foreign gods ; bə·zā·rîm יַכְעִיסֻֽהוּ׃ they enraged Him yaḵ·‘î·su·hū בְּתוֹעֵבֹ֖ת with abominations . bə·ṯō·w·‘ê·ḇōṯ Deuteronomy 32:17 יִזְבְּח֗וּ They sacrificed yiz·bə·ḥū לַשֵּׁדִים֙ to demons , laš·šê·ḏîm לֹ֣א not lō אֱלֹ֔הַ to God , ’ĕ·lō·ha אֱלֹהִ֖ים to gods ’ĕ·lō·hîm לֹ֣א they had not lō יְדָע֑וּם known , yə·ḏā·‘ūm חֲדָשִׁים֙ to newly arrived [gods] ḥă·ḏā·šîm מִקָּרֹ֣ב . . . miq·qā·rōḇ בָּ֔אוּ . . . , bā·’ū אֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ which your fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem לֹ֥א did not lō שְׂעָר֖וּם fear . śə·‘ā·rūm Deuteronomy 32:18 תֶּ֑שִׁי You ignored te·šî צ֥וּר the Rock ṣūr יְלָדְךָ֖ who brought you forth ; yə·lā·ḏə·ḵā וַתִּשְׁכַּ֖ח you forgot wat·tiš·kaḥ אֵ֥ל the God ’êl מְחֹלְלֶֽךָ׃ who gave you birth . mə·ḥō·lə·le·ḵā Deuteronomy 32:19 יְהוָ֖ה When YHWH Yah·weh וַיַּ֥רְא saw this , way·yar וַיִּנְאָ֑ץ He rejected [them] , way·yin·’āṣ מִכַּ֥עַס provoked to anger mik·ka·‘as בָּנָ֖יו by His sons bā·nāw וּבְנֹתָֽיו׃ and daughters . ū·ḇə·nō·ṯāw Deuteronomy 32:20 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר He said : way·yō·mer אַסְתִּ֤ירָה “ I will hide ’as·tî·rāh פָנַי֙ My face from them ; p̄ā·nay אֶרְאֶ֖ה I will see ’er·’eh מָ֣ה what [will be] māh אַחֲרִיתָ֑ם their end . ’a·ḥă·rî·ṯām כִּ֣י For kî מֵהֶ֔ם they mê·hem תַּהְפֻּכֹת֙ are a perverse tah·pu·ḵōṯ הֵ֔מָּה . . . hêm·māh
