הֲ־ hă- לַיְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh נָבָ֖ל O foolish nā·ḇāl וְלֹ֣א and senseless wə·lō חָכָ֑ם . . . ḥā·ḵām עַ֥ם people ? ‘am הוּא֙ Is He hū הֲלוֹא־ not hă·lō·w- אָבִ֣יךָ your Father ’ā·ḇî·ḵā קָּנֶ֔ךָ and Creator ? qā·ne·ḵā ה֥וּא Has He not hū עָֽשְׂךָ֖ made you ‘ā·śə·ḵā וַֽיְכֹנְנֶֽךָ׃ and established you ? way·ḵō·nə·ne·ḵā Deuteronomy 32:7 זְכֹר֙ Remember zə·ḵōr יְמ֣וֹת the days yə·mō·wṯ עוֹלָ֔ם of old ; ‘ō·w·lām בִּ֖ינוּ consider bî·nū שְׁנ֣וֹת the years šə·nō·wṯ דּוֹר־ long dō·wr- וָד֑וֹר past . wā·ḏō·wr שְׁאַ֤ל Ask šə·’al אָבִ֙יךָ֙ your father , ’ā·ḇî·ḵā וְיַגֵּ֔דְךָ and he will tell you , wə·yag·gê·ḏə·ḵā זְקֵנֶ֖יךָ your elders , zə·qê·ne·ḵā וְיֹ֥אמְרוּ and they will inform wə·yō·mə·rū לָֽךְ׃ you . lāḵ Deuteronomy 32:8 עֶלְיוֹן֙ When the Most High ‘el·yō·wn גּוֹיִ֔ם gave the nations gō·w·yim בְּהַנְחֵ֤ל their inheritance , bə·han·ḥêl בְּהַפְרִיד֖וֹ when He divided bə·hap̄·rî·ḏōw בְּנֵ֣י the sons bə·nê אָדָ֑ם of man , ’ā·ḏām יַצֵּב֙ He set yaṣ·ṣêḇ גְּבֻלֹ֣ת the boundaries gə·ḇu·lōṯ עַמִּ֔ים of the peoples ‘am·mîm לְמִסְפַּ֖ר according to the number lə·mis·par בְּנֵ֥י of the sons bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of God . yiś·rā·’êl Deuteronomy 32:9 כִּ֛י But kî יְהֹוָ֖ה YHWH’s Yah·weh חֵ֥לֶק portion ḥê·leq עַמּ֑וֹ is His people , ‘am·mōw יַעֲקֹ֖ב Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ חֶ֥בֶל His allotted ḥe·ḇel נַחֲלָתֽוֹ׃ inheritance . na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw Deuteronomy 32:10 יִמְצָאֵ֙הוּ֙ He found him yim·ṣā·’ê·hū מִדְבָּ֔ר in a desert miḏ·bār בְּאֶ֣רֶץ land , bə·’e·reṣ וּבְתֹ֖הוּ in a barren , ū·ḇə·ṯō·hū יְלֵ֣ל howling yə·lêl יְשִׁמֹ֑ן wilderness ; yə·ši·mōn יְסֹֽבְבֶ֙נְהוּ֙ He surrounded him , yə·sō·ḇə·ḇen·hū יְב֣וֹנְנֵ֔הוּ He instructed him , yə·ḇō·wn·nê·hū יִצְּרֶ֖נְהוּ He guarded him yiṣ·ṣə·ren·hū כְּאִישׁ֥וֹן as the apple kə·’î·šō·wn עֵינֽוֹ׃ of His eye . ‘ê·nōw Deuteronomy 32:11 כְּנֶ֙שֶׁר֙ As an eagle kə·ne·šer יָעִ֣יר stirs up yā·‘îr קִנּ֔וֹ its nest qin·nōw יְרַחֵ֑ף and hovers yə·ra·ḥêp̄ עַל־ over ‘al- גּוֹזָלָ֖יו its young , gō·w·zā·lāw יִפְרֹ֤שׂ He spread yip̄·rōś כְּנָפָיו֙ His wings kə·nā·p̄āw יִקָּחֵ֔הוּ to catch them yiq·qā·ḥê·hū יִשָּׂאֵ֖הוּ [and] carried them yiś·śā·’ê·hū עַל־ on ‘al- אֶבְרָתֽוֹ׃ His pinions . ’eḇ·rā·ṯōw Deuteronomy 32:12 יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh בָּדָ֣ד alone bā·ḏāḏ יַנְחֶ֑נּוּ led him , yan·ḥen·nū וְאֵ֥ין and no wə·’ên נֵכָֽר׃ foreign nê·ḵār אֵ֥ל god ’êl עִמּ֖וֹ [was] with him . ‘im·mōw Deuteronomy 32:13 יַרְכִּבֵ֙הוּ֙ He made him ride yar·ki·ḇê·hū עַל־ on ‘al- בָּמוֹתֵי the heights bå̄·mō·ṯē אָ֔רֶץ of the land ’ā·reṣ
