Deuteronomy 31:20 כִּֽי־ When kî- אֲבִיאֶ֜נּוּ I have brought them ’ă·ḇî·’en·nū אֶֽל־ into ’el- הָאֲדָמָ֣ה׀ the land hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- נִשְׁבַּ֣עְתִּי I swore niš·ba‘·tî לַאֲבֹתָ֗יו to give their fathers , la·’ă·ḇō·ṯāw זָבַ֤ת a land flowing zā·ḇaṯ חָלָב֙ with milk ḥā·lāḇ וּדְבַ֔שׁ and honey , ū·ḏə·ḇaš וְאָכַ֥ל they will eat wə·’ā·ḵal וְשָׂבַ֖ע their fill wə·śā·ḇa‘ וְדָשֵׁ֑ן and prosper . wə·ḏā·šên וּפָנָ֞ה Then they will turn ū·p̄ā·nāh אֶל־ to ’el- אֲחֵרִים֙ other ’ă·ḥê·rîm אֱלֹהִ֤ים gods ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַעֲבָד֔וּם and worship them , wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏūm וְנִ֣אֲצ֔וּנִי and they will reject Me wə·ni·’ă·ṣū·nî וְהֵפֵ֖ר and break wə·hê·p̄êr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִיתִֽי׃ My covenant . bə·rî·ṯî Deuteronomy 31:21 וְ֠הָיָה - wə·hā·yāh כִּֽי־ And when kî- רַבּוֹת֮ many rab·bō·wṯ רָע֣וֹת troubles rā·‘ō·wṯ וְצָרוֹת֒ and afflictions wə·ṣā·rō·wṯ תִמְצֶ֨אןָ have come upon them ṯim·ṣe·nā אֹת֜וֹ - , ’ō·ṯōw הַזֹּ֤את this haz·zōṯ הַשִּׁירָ֨ה song haš·šî·rāh וְ֠עָנְתָה will testify wə·‘ā·nə·ṯāh לְעֵ֔ד . . . lə·‘êḏ לְפָנָיו֙ against them , lə·p̄ā·nāw כִּ֛י because kî לֹ֥א vvv lō תִשָּׁכַ֖ח it will not be forgotten ṯiš·šā·ḵaḥ מִפִּ֣י from the lips mip·pî זַרְע֑וֹ of their descendants . zar·‘ōw כִּ֧י For kî יָדַ֣עְתִּי I know yā·ḏa‘·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִצְר֗וֹ their inclination yiṣ·rōw אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer ה֤וּא - hū עֹשֶׂה֙ . . . , ‘ō·śeh הַיּ֔וֹם . . . hay·yō·wm בְּטֶ֣רֶם even before bə·ṭe·rem אֲבִיאֶ֔נּוּ I bring them ’ă·ḇî·’en·nū אֶל־ into ’el- הָאָ֖רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer נִשְׁבָּֽעְתִּי׃ I swore to give them . ” niš·bā·‘ə·tî Deuteronomy 31:22 הַה֑וּא So that very ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm מֹשֶׁ֛ה Moses mō·šeh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּכְתֹּ֥ב wrote down way·yiḵ·tōḇ הַזֹּ֖את this haz·zōṯ הַשִּׁירָ֥ה song haš·šî·rāh וַֽיְלַמְּדָ֖הּ and taught it way·lam·mə·ḏāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵ֥י to the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ . . . . yiś·rā·’êl Deuteronomy 31:23 וַיְצַ֞ו Then YHWH commissioned way·ṣaw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ בִּן־ son bin- נ֗וּן of Nun nūn וַיֹּאמֶר֮ and said , way·yō·mer חֲזַ֣ק “ Be strong ḥă·zaq וֶֽאֱמָץ֒ and courageous , we·’ĕ·māṣ כִּ֣י for kî אַתָּ֗ה you ’at·tāh תָּבִיא֙ will bring tā·ḇî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵ֣י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl אֶל־ into ’el- הָאָ֖רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- נִשְׁבַּ֣עְתִּי I swore to give niš·ba‘·tî לָהֶ֑ם them , lā·hem וְאָנֹכִ֖י and I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî אֶֽהְיֶ֥ה will be ’eh·yeh עִמָּֽךְ׃ with you . ” ‘im·māḵ Deuteronomy 31:24 וַיְהִ֣י׀ - way·hî
