יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Israel , yiś·rā·’êl Deuteronomy 31:2 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he said way·yō·mer אֲלֵהֶ֗ם to them , ’ă·lê·hem אָנֹכִי֙ “ I ’ā·nō·ḵî הַיּ֔וֹם am now hay·yō·wm מֵאָה֩ a hundred mê·’āh וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים and twenty wə·‘eś·rîm בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָ֤ה . . . ; šā·nāh אוּכַ֥ל I am ’ū·ḵal לֹא־ no lō- ע֖וֹד longer ‘ō·wḏ לָצֵ֣את able to come lā·ṣêṯ וְלָב֑וֹא and go , wə·lā·ḇō·w וַֽיהוָה֙ and YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר has said ’ā·mar אֵלַ֔י to me , ’ê·lay לֹ֥א ‘ You shall not lō תַעֲבֹ֖ר cross ṯa·‘ă·ḇōr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֶּֽה׃ the haz·zeh הַיַּרְדֵּ֥ן Jordan . ’ hay·yar·dên Deuteronomy 31:3 יְהוָ֨ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā ה֣וּא׀ Himself hū עֹבֵ֣ר will cross over ‘ō·ḇêr לְפָנֶ֗יךָ ahead of you . lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā הֽוּא־ He hū- יַשְׁמִ֞יד will destroy yaš·mîḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֵ֛לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַגּוֹיִ֥ם nations hag·gō·w·yim מִלְּפָנֶ֖יךָ before you , mil·lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֑ם and you will dispossess them . wî·riš·tām יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ ה֚וּא . . . hū עֹבֵ֣ר will cross ‘ō·ḇêr לְפָנֶ֔יךָ ahead of you , lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֥ר has said . dib·ber Deuteronomy 31:4 יְהוָה֙ And YHWH Yah·weh וְעָשָׂ֤ה will do wə·‘ā·śāh לָהֶ֔ם to them lā·hem כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר as ka·’ă·šer עָשָׂ֗ה He did ‘ā·śāh לְסִיח֥וֹן to Sihon lə·sî·ḥō·wn וּלְע֛וֹג and Og , ū·lə·‘ō·wḡ מַלְכֵ֥י the kings mal·ḵê הָאֱמֹרִ֖י of the Amorites , hā·’ĕ·mō·rî אֲשֶׁ֥ר when ’ă·šer הִשְׁמִ֖יד He destroyed hiš·mîḏ אֹתָֽם׃ them ’ō·ṯām וּלְאַרְצָ֑ם along with their land . ū·lə·’ar·ṣām Deuteronomy 31:5 יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh וּנְתָנָ֥ם will deliver them over ū·nə·ṯā·nām לִפְנֵיכֶ֑ם to you , lip̄·nê·ḵem וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֣ם and you must do wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem לָהֶ֔ם to them lā·hem כְּכָל־ exactly as kə·ḵāl- הַמִּצְוָ֔ה . . . ham·miṣ·wāh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer צִוִּ֖יתִי I have commanded ṣiw·wî·ṯî אֶתְכֶֽם׃ you . ’eṯ·ḵem Deuteronomy 31:6 חִזְק֣וּ Be strong ḥiz·qū וְאִמְצ֔וּ and courageous ; wə·’im·ṣū אַל־ do not ’al- תִּֽירְא֥וּ be afraid tî·rə·’ū וְאַל־ . . . wə·’al- תַּעַרְצ֖וּ or terrified ta·‘ar·ṣū מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם of them , mip·pə·nê·hem כִּ֣י׀ for kî יְהוָ֣ה it is YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā ה֚וּא who hū הַהֹלֵ֣ךְ goes ha·hō·lêḵ עִמָּ֔ךְ with you ; ‘im·māḵ לֹ֥א He will never lō יַרְפְּךָ֖ leave you yar·pə·ḵā וְלֹ֥א [nor] wə·lō יַעַזְבֶֽךָּ׃פ forsake you . ” ya·‘az·ḇe·kā Deuteronomy 31:7 מֹשֶׁ֜ה Then Moses mō·šeh
