מַכָּ֔ה and plague mak·kāh אֲשֶׁר֙ - ’ă·šer לֹ֣א not lō כָת֔וּב recorded ḵā·ṯūḇ הַזֹּ֑את in this haz·zōṯ בְּסֵ֖פֶר Book bə·sê·p̄er הַתּוֹרָ֣ה of the Law , hat·tō·w·rāh עַ֖ד until ‘aḏ הִשָּׁמְדָֽךְ׃ you are destroyed . hiš·šā·mə·ḏāḵ Deuteronomy 28:62 תַּ֚חַת - ta·ḥaṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הֱיִיתֶ֔ם You who were hĕ·yî·ṯem לָרֹ֑ב as numerous lā·rōḇ כְּכוֹכְבֵ֥י as the stars kə·ḵō·wḵ·ḇê הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם in the sky haš·šā·ma·yim וְנִשְׁאַרְתֶּם֙ will be left wə·niš·’ar·tem מְעָ֔ט few mə·‘āṭ בִּמְתֵ֣י in number , bim·ṯê כִּי־ because kî- לֹ֣א you would not lō שָׁמַ֔עְתָּ obey šā·ma‘·tā בְּק֖וֹל the voice of bə·qō·wl יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ your God . ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā Deuteronomy 28:63 וְ֠הָיָה - wə·hā·yāh כַּאֲשֶׁר־ Just as ka·’ă·šer- שָׂ֨שׂ it pleased śāś יְהוָ֜ה YHWH Yah·weh עֲלֵיכֶ֗ם - ‘ă·lê·ḵem לְהֵיטִ֣יב to make you prosper lə·hê·ṭîḇ אֶתְכֶם֮ - ’eṯ·ḵem וּלְהַרְבּ֣וֹת and multiply , ū·lə·har·bō·wṯ אֶתְכֶם֒ - ’eṯ·ḵem כֵּ֣ן so also kên יָשִׂ֤ישׂ it will please yā·śîś יְהוָה֙ Him Yah·weh עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם . . . ‘ă·lê·ḵem לְהַאֲבִ֥יד to annihilate lə·ha·’ă·ḇîḏ אֶתְכֶ֖ם you ’eṯ·ḵem וּלְהַשְׁמִ֣יד and destroy ū·lə·haš·mîḏ אֶתְכֶ֑ם you . ’eṯ·ḵem וְנִסַּחְתֶּם֙ And you will be uprooted wə·nis·saḥ·tem מֵעַ֣ל from mê·‘al הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה the land hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- אַתָּ֥ה you ’at·tāh בָא־ are entering ḇā- שָׁ֖מָּה . . . šām·māh לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ to possess . lə·riš·tāh Deuteronomy 28:64 יְהוָה֙ Then YHWH Yah·weh וֶהֱפִֽיצְךָ֤ will scatter we·hĕ·p̄î·ṣə·ḵā בְּכָל־ you among all bə·ḵāl הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים the nations , hā·‘am·mîm מִקְצֵ֥ה from one end miq·ṣêh הָאָ֖רֶץ of the earth hā·’ā·reṣ וְעַד־ to wə·‘aḏ- קְצֵ֣ה the other , qə·ṣêh הָאָ֑רֶץ . . . hā·’ā·reṣ שָּׁ֜ם and there šām וְעָבַ֨דְתָּ you will worship wə·‘ā·ḇaḏ·tā אֲחֵרִ֗ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm אֱלֹהִ֣ים gods , ’ĕ·lō·hîm עֵ֥ץ [gods] of wood ‘êṣ וָאָֽבֶן׃ and stone , wā·’ā·ḇen אֲשֶׁ֧ר which ’ă·šer אַתָּ֥ה neither you ’at·tāh לֹא־ nor lō- וַאֲבֹתֶ֖יךָ your fathers wa·’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā יָדַ֛עְתָּ have known . yā·ḏa‘·tā Deuteronomy 28:65 הָהֵם֙ Among those hā·hêm וּבַגּוֹיִ֤ם nations ū·ḇag·gō·w·yim לֹ֣א you will find no lō תַרְגִּ֔יעַ repose ṯar·gî·a‘ יִהְיֶ֥ה , yih·yeh וְלֹא־ not even wə·lō- מָנ֖וֹחַ a resting place mā·nō·w·aḥ לְכַף־ for the sole lə·ḵap̄- רַגְלֶ֑ךָ of your foot . raḡ·le·ḵā שָׁם֙ There šām יְהוָ֨ה YHWH Yah·weh לְךָ֥ lə·ḵā וְנָתַן֩ will give wə·nā·ṯan רַגָּ֔ז you a trembling rag·gāz לֵ֣ב heart , lêḇ וְכִלְי֥וֹן failing wə·ḵil·yō·wn עֵינַ֖יִם eyes , ‘ê·na·yim וְדַֽאֲב֥וֹן and a despairing wə·ḏa·’ă·ḇō·wn נָֽפֶשׁ׃ soul . nā·p̄eš
