Deuteronomy 28:66 וְהָי֣וּ - wə·hā·yū חַיֶּ֔יךָ So your life ḥay·ye·ḵā תְּלֻאִ֥ים will hang in doubt tə·lu·’îm לְךָ֖ lə·ḵā מִנֶּ֑גֶד before you , min·ne·ḡeḏ וּפָֽחַדְתָּ֙ and you will be afraid ū·p̄ā·ḥaḏ·tā לַ֣יְלָה night lay·lāh וְיוֹמָ֔ם and day , wə·yō·w·mām וְלֹ֥א never wə·lō תַאֲמִ֖ין certain ṯa·’ă·mîn בְּחַיֶּֽיךָ׃ of survival . bə·ḥay·ye·ḵā Deuteronomy 28:67 בַּבֹּ֤קֶר In the morning bab·bō·qer תֹּאמַר֙ you will say , tō·mar מִֽי־ ‘ If only mî- יִתֵּ֣ן . . . yit·tên עֶ֔רֶב it were evening ! ’ ‘e·reḇ וּבָעֶ֥רֶב and in the evening ū·ḇā·‘e·reḇ תֹּאמַ֖ר you will say , tō·mar מִֽי־ ‘ If only mî- יִתֵּ֣ן . . . yit·tên בֹּ֑קֶר it were morning !’— bō·qer מִפַּ֤חַד because of the dread mip·pa·ḥaḏ לְבָֽבְךָ֙ in your hearts lə·ḇā·ḇə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֣ר of ’ă·šer תִּפְחָ֔ד the terrifying tip̄·ḥāḏ וּמִמַּרְאֵ֥ה sights ū·mim·mar·’êh עֵינֶ֖יךָ . . . ‘ê·ne·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer תִּרְאֶֽה׃ you will see . tir·’eh Deuteronomy 28:68 יְהוָ֥ה׀ YHWH Yah·weh וֶֽהֱשִֽׁיבְךָ֨ will return you we·hĕ·šî·ḇə·ḵā מִצְרַיִם֮ to Egypt miṣ·ra·yim בָּאֳנִיּוֹת֒ in ships bā·’o·nî·yō·wṯ בַּדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ by a route bad·de·reḵ אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer אָמַ֣רְתִּֽי I said ’ā·mar·tî לְךָ֔ you {should} lə·ḵā לֹא־ never lō- לִרְאֹתָ֑הּ see lir·’ō·ṯāh תֹסִ֥יף again ṯō·sîp̄ ע֖וֹד . . . . ‘ō·wḏ שָׁ֧ם There šām וְהִתְמַכַּרְתֶּ֨ם you will sell wə·hiṯ·mak·kar·tem לְאֹיְבֶ֛יךָ yourselves to your enemies lə·’ō·yə·ḇe·ḵā לַעֲבָדִ֥ים as male la·‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm וְלִשְׁפָח֖וֹת and female slaves , wə·liš·p̄ā·ḥō·wṯ וְאֵ֥ין but no wə·’ên קֹנֶֽה׃ס one will buy you . ” qō·neh Deuteronomy 29:1 אֵלֶּה֩ These ’êl·leh דִבְרֵ֨י are the words ḏiḇ·rê הַבְּרִ֜ית of the covenant hab·bə·rîṯ אֲ that ’ăšer- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִוָּ֧ה commanded ṣiw·wāh מֹשֶׁ֗ה Moses mō·šeh לִכְרֹ֛ת to make liḵ·rōṯ אֶת־ with ’eṯ- בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מוֹאָ֑ב of Moab , mō·w·’āḇ מִלְּבַ֣ד in addition to mil·lə·ḇaḏ הַבְּרִ֔ית the covenant hab·bə·rîṯ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- כָּרַ֥ת He had made kā·raṯ אִתָּ֖ם with them ’it·tām בְּחֹרֵֽב׃פ at Horeb . bə·ḥō·rêḇ Deuteronomy 29:2 מֹשֶׁ֛ה Moses mō·šeh וַיִּקְרָ֥א summoned way·yiq·rā כָּל־ all kāl- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַיֹּ֣אמֶר and proclaimed way·yō·mer אֲלֵהֶ֑ם . . . ’ă·lê·hem אֶל־ to them , ’el- אַתֶּ֣ם “ You ’at·tem רְאִיתֶ֗ם have seen rə·’î·ṯem אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ לְעֵֽינֵיכֶם֙ with your own eyes lə·‘ê·nê·ḵem בְּאֶ֣רֶץ - bə·’e·reṣ כָּל־ everything kāl- אֲשֶׁר֩ - ’ă·šer יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh עָשָׂ֨ה did ‘ā·śāh מִצְרַ֔יִם in Egypt miṣ·ra·yim
