הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם of the air haš·šā·ma·yim וּלְבֶהֱמַ֣ת and beasts of ū·lə·ḇe·hĕ·maṯ הָאָ֑רֶץ the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ וְאֵ֖ין with no wə·’ên מַחֲרִֽיד׃ one to scare them away . ma·ḥă·rîḏ Deuteronomy 28:27 יְהוָ֜ה YHWH Yah·weh יַכְּכָ֨ה will afflict yak·kə·ḵāh בִּשְׁחִ֤ין you with the boils biš·ḥîn מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim וּבָעֳפָלִים with tumors ū·ḇå̄·ʿo·p̄å̄·līm וּבַגָּרָ֖ב and scabs ū·ḇag·gā·rāḇ וּבֶחָ֑רֶס and itch ū·ḇe·ḥā·res אֲשֶׁ֥ר from which ’ă·šer לֹא־ you cannot lō- תוּכַ֖ל . . . ṯū·ḵal לְהֵרָפֵֽא׃ be cured . lə·hê·rā·p̄ê Deuteronomy 28:28 יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh יַכְּכָ֣ה will afflict yak·kə·ḵāh בְּשִׁגָּע֖וֹן you with madness , bə·šig·gā·‘ō·wn וּבְעִוָּר֑וֹן blindness , ū·ḇə·‘iw·wā·rō·wn וּבְתִמְה֖וֹן and confusion ū·ḇə·ṯim·hō·wn לֵבָֽב׃ of mind , lê·ḇāḇ Deuteronomy 28:29 בַּֽצָּהֳרַ֗יִם and at noon baṣ·ṣā·ho·ra·yim וְהָיִ֜יתָ you will wə·hā·yî·ṯā מְמַשֵּׁ֣שׁ grope about mə·maš·šêš כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר like ka·’ă·šer הָעִוֵּר֙ a blind man hā·‘iw·wêr יְמַשֵּׁ֤שׁ - yə·maš·šêš בָּאֲפֵלָ֔ה in the darkness . bā·’ă·p̄ê·lāh וְלֹ֥א You will not wə·lō תַצְלִ֖יחַ prosper ṯaṣ·lî·aḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דְּרָכֶ֑יךָ in your ways . də·rā·ḵe·ḵā כָּל־ Day after day kāl- וְהָיִ֜יתָ you will be wə·hā·yî·ṯā אַ֣ךְ - ’aḵ עָשׁ֧וּק oppressed ‘ā·šūq וְגָז֛וּל and plundered wə·ḡā·zūl הַיָּמִ֖ים . . . , hay·yā·mîm וְאֵ֥ין with no one wə·’ên מוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ to save you . mō·wō·šî·a‘ Deuteronomy 28:30 תְאָרֵ֗שׂ You will be pledged in marriage ṯə·’ā·rêś אִשָּׁ֣ה to a woman , ’iš·šāh אַחֵר֙ but another ’a·ḥêr וְאִ֤ישׁ man wə·’îš יִשְׁגָּלֶנָּה will violate her . yiš·gå̄·lɛn·nå̄h תִּבְנֶ֖ה You will build tiḇ·neh בַּ֥יִת a house ba·yiṯ וְלֹא־ but will not wə·lō- תֵשֵׁ֣ב live ṯê·šêḇ בּ֑וֹ in it . bōw תִּטַּ֖ע You will plant tiṭ·ṭa‘ כֶּ֥רֶם a vineyard ke·rem וְלֹ֥א but will not wə·lō תְחַלְּלֶּֽנּוּ׃ enjoy its fruit . ṯə·ḥal·ləl·lɛn·nū Deuteronomy 28:31 שׁוֹרְךָ֞ Your ox šō·wr·ḵā טָב֣וּחַ will be slaughtered ṭā·ḇū·aḥ לְעֵינֶ֗יךָ before your eyes , lə·‘ê·ne·ḵā וְלֹ֣א but you will not wə·lō תֹאכַל֮ eat ṯō·ḵal מִמֶּנּוּ֒ any of it . mim·men·nū חֲמֹֽרְךָ֙ Your donkey ḥă·mō·rə·ḵā גָּז֣וּל will be taken away gā·zūl מִלְּפָנֶ֔יךָ - mil·lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā וְלֹ֥א and not wə·lō יָשׁ֖וּב returned yā·šūḇ לָ֑ךְ to you . lāḵ צֹֽאנְךָ֙ Your flock ṣō·nə·ḵā נְתֻנ֣וֹת will be given nə·ṯu·nō·wṯ לְאֹיְבֶ֔יךָ to your enemies , lə·’ō·yə·ḇe·ḵā וְאֵ֥ין and no one wə·’ên מוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ will save mō·wō·šî·a‘ לְךָ֖ you . lə·ḵā Deuteronomy 28:32 בָּנֶ֨יךָ Your sons bā·ne·ḵā וּבְנֹתֶ֜יךָ and daughters ū·ḇə·nō·ṯe·ḵā נְתֻנִ֨ים will be given nə·ṯu·nîm אַחֵר֙ to another ’a·ḥêr לְעַ֤ם nation , lə·‘am וְעֵינֶ֣יךָ while your eyes wə·‘ê·ne·ḵā וְכָל֥וֹת grow weary wə·ḵā·lō·wṯ רֹא֔וֹת looking rō·’ō·wṯ אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם for them ’ă·lê·hem
