וַֽיְהִי־ and became way·hî- גָּד֖וֹל a great gā·ḏō·wl לְג֥וֹי nation , lə·ḡō·w עָצ֥וּם mighty ‘ā·ṣūm וָרָֽב׃ and numerous . wā·rāḇ Deuteronomy 26:6 הַמִּצְרִ֖ים But the Egyptians ham·miṣ·rîm וַיָּרֵ֧עוּ mistreated us way·yā·rê·‘ū אֹתָ֛נוּ - ’ō·ṯā·nū וַיְעַנּ֑וּנוּ and afflicted us , way·‘an·nū·nū וַיִּתְּנ֥וּ putting us way·yit·tə·nū עָלֵ֖ינוּ . . . ‘ā·lê·nū קָשָֽׁה׃ to hard qā·šāh עֲבֹדָ֥ה labor . ‘ă·ḇō·ḏāh Deuteronomy 26:7 וַנִּצְעַ֕ק So we called out wan·niṣ·‘aq אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ of our fathers ; ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū יְהוָה֙ and YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע heard way·yiš·ma‘ קֹלֵ֔נוּ our voice qō·lê·nū וַיַּ֧רְא and saw way·yar אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עָנְיֵ֛נוּ our affliction , ‘ā·nə·yê·nū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- עֲמָלֵ֖נוּ toil , ‘ă·mā·lê·nū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- לַחֲצֵֽנוּ׃ and oppression . la·ḥă·ṣê·nū Deuteronomy 26:8 יְהוָה֙ Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיּוֹצִאֵ֤נוּ brought us way·yō·w·ṣi·’ê·nū מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם out of Egypt mim·miṣ·ra·yim חֲזָקָה֙ with a mighty ḥă·zā·qāh בְּיָ֤ד hand bə·yāḏ נְטוּיָ֔ה and an outstretched nə·ṭū·yāh וּבִזְרֹ֣עַ arm , ū·ḇiz·rō·a‘ גָּדֹ֑ל with great gā·ḏōl וּבְמֹרָ֖א terror , ū·ḇə·mō·rā וּבְאֹת֖וֹת signs , ū·ḇə·’ō·ṯō·wṯ וּבְמֹפְתִֽים׃ and wonders . ū·ḇə·mō·p̄ə·ṯîm Deuteronomy 26:9 וַיְבִאֵ֖נוּ And He brought us way·ḇi·’ê·nū אֶל־ to ’el- הַזֶּ֑ה this haz·zeh הַמָּק֣וֹם place ham·mā·qō·wm וַיִּתֶּן־ and gave way·yit·ten- לָ֙נוּ֙ us lā·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֹּ֔את this haz·zōṯ הָאָ֣רֶץ land , hā·’ā·reṣ אֶ֛רֶץ a land ’e·reṣ זָבַ֥ת flowing zā·ḇaṯ חָלָ֖ב with milk ḥā·lāḇ וּדְבָֽשׁ׃ and honey . ū·ḏə·ḇāš Deuteronomy 26:10 וְעַתָּ֗ה And now , wə·‘at·tāh הִנֵּ֤ה behold , hin·nêh הֵבֵ֙אתִי֙ I have brought hê·ḇê·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רֵאשִׁית֙ vvv rê·šîṯ פְּרִ֣י the firstfruits pə·rî הָאֲדָמָ֔ה of the land hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֑ה You, O YHWH , Yah·weh נָתַ֥תָּה have given nā·ṯat·tāh לִּ֖י me . ” lî וְהִנַּחְתּ֗וֹ Then you are to place [the basket] wə·hin·naḥ·tōw לִפְנֵי֙ before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוִ֔יתָ and bow down wə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wî·ṯā לִפְנֵ֖י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֥ה Him Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ . . . . ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā Deuteronomy 26:11 וְשָׂמַחְתָּ֣ So you shall rejoice — wə·śā·maḥ·tā אַתָּה֙ you , ’at·tāh וְהַלֵּוִ֔י the Levite , wə·hal·lê·wî וְהַגֵּ֖ר and the foreigner dwelling wə·hag·gêr אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer בְּקִרְבֶּֽךָ׃ס among you — bə·qir·be·ḵā בְכָל־ in all ḇə·ḵāl- הַטּ֗וֹב the good haṭ·ṭō·wḇ אֲשֶׁ֧ר - ’ă·šer יְהוָ֥ה things YHWH Yah·weh
