Deuteronomy 26:1 וְהָיָה֙ - wə·hā·yāh כִּֽי־ When kî- תָב֣וֹא you enter ṯā·ḇō·w אֶל־ . . . ’el- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁר֙ that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā נֹתֵ֥ן is giving nō·ṯên לְךָ֖ you lə·ḵā נַחֲלָ֑ה [as] an inheritance , na·ḥă·lāh וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֖הּ and you take possession of it wî·riš·tāh וְיָשַׁ֥בְתָּ and settle wə·yā·šaḇ·tā בָּֽהּ׃ in it , bāh Deuteronomy 26:2 וְלָקַחְתָּ֞ you are to take wə·lā·qaḥ·tā מֵרֵאשִׁ֣ית׀ some of the firstfruits mê·rê·šîṯ כָּל־ of all kāl- פְּרִ֣י your produce pə·rî אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer תָּבִ֧יא - tā·ḇî הָאֲדָמָ֗ה from the soil hā·’ă·ḏā·māh מֵֽאַרְצְךָ֛ of the land mê·’ar·ṣə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֧ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā נֹתֵ֥ן is giving nō·ṯên לָ֖ךְ you lāḵ וְשַׂמְתָּ֣ and put [them] wə·śam·tā בַטֶּ֑נֶא in a basket . ḇaṭ·ṭe·ne וְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙ Then go wə·hā·laḵ·tā אֶל־ to ’el- הַמָּק֔וֹם the place ham·mā·qō·wm אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā יִבְחַר֙ will choose yiḇ·ḥar שָֽׁם׃ . . . šām לְשַׁכֵּ֥ן as a dwelling lə·šak·kên שְׁמ֖וֹ for His Name , šə·mōw Deuteronomy 26:3 וּבָאתָ֙ - ū·ḇā·ṯā אֶל־ to ’el- הַכֹּהֵ֔ן the priest hak·kō·hên אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer יִהְיֶ֖ה is yih·yeh הָהֵ֑ם serving at that hā·hêm בַּיָּמִ֣ים time , bay·yā·mîm וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ and say wə·’ā·mar·tā אֵלָ֗יו to him , ’ê·lāw הִגַּ֤דְתִּי “ I declare hig·gaḏ·tî הַיּוֹם֙ today hay·yō·wm לַיהוָ֣ה to YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā כִּי־ that kî- בָ֙אתִי֙ I have entered ḇā·ṯî אֶל־ . . . ’el- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh נִשְׁבַּ֧ע swore niš·ba‘ לַאֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּ to our fathers la·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū לָ֥תֶת to give lā·ṯeṯ לָֽנוּ׃ us . ” lā·nū Deuteronomy 26:4 הַכֹּהֵ֛ן Then the priest hak·kō·hên וְלָקַ֧ח shall take wə·lā·qaḥ הַטֶּ֖נֶא the basket haṭ·ṭe·ne מִיָּדֶ֑ךָ from your hands mî·yā·ḏe·ḵā וְהִ֨נִּיח֔וֹ and place it wə·hin·nî·ḥōw לִפְנֵ֕י before lip̄·nê מִזְבַּ֖ח the altar miz·baḥ יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā Deuteronomy 26:5 וְעָנִ֨יתָ and you are to declare wə·‘ā·nî·ṯā וְאָמַרְתָּ֜ . . . wə·’ā·mar·tā לִפְנֵ֣י׀ before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā אָבִ֔י “ My father ’ā·ḇî אֹבֵ֣ד was a wandering ’ō·ḇêḏ אֲרַמִּי֙ Aramean , ’ă·ram·mî וַיֵּ֣רֶד and he went down way·yê·reḏ מִצְרַ֔יְמָה to Egypt miṣ·ray·māh מְעָ֑ט few in number mə·‘āṭ וַיָּ֥גָר and lived way·yā·ḡār שָׁ֖ם there šām בִּמְתֵ֣י . . . bim·ṯê שָׁ֕ם - šām
