קֹסְמִ֖ים and diviners , qō·sə·mîm יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā לֹ֣א has not lō נָ֛תַן permitted you nå̄·ṯan כֵ֔ן to do so ḵên לְךָ֖ . lə·ḵā Deuteronomy 18:15 יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā יָקִ֥ים will raise up yā·qîm לְךָ֖ for you lə·ḵā נָבִ֨יא a prophet nā·ḇî כָּמֹ֔נִי like me kā·mō·nî מִקִּרְבְּךָ֤ from among miq·qir·bə·ḵā מֵאַחֶ֙יךָ֙ your brothers . mê·’a·ḥe·ḵā תִּשְׁמָעֽוּן׃ You must listen tiš·mā·‘ūn אֵלָ֖יו to him . ’ê·lāw Deuteronomy 18:16 כְּכֹ֨ל This is what kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- שָׁאַ֜לְתָּ you asked šā·’al·tā מֵעִ֨ם of mê·‘im יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā בְּחֹרֵ֔ב at Horeb bə·ḥō·rêḇ בְּי֥וֹם on the day bə·yō·wm הַקָּהָ֖ל of the assembly , haq·qā·hāl לֵאמֹ֑ר when you said , lê·mōr לֹ֣א “ Let us not lō אֹסֵ֗ף - ’ō·sêp̄ לִשְׁמֹ֙עַ֙ hear liš·mō·a‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- קוֹל֙ the voice qō·wl יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָ֔י our God ’ĕ·lō·hāy וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אֶרְאֶ֥ה or see ’er·’eh לֹֽא־ lō- הַזֹּ֛את this haz·zōṯ הַגְּדֹלָ֥ה great hag·gə·ḏō·lāh הָאֵ֨שׁ fire hā·’êš ע֖וֹד anymore , ‘ō·wḏ וְלֹ֥א so that we will not wə·lō אָמֽוּת׃ die ! ” ’ā·mūṯ Deuteronomy 18:17 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלָ֑י to me , ’ê·lāy דִּבֵּֽרוּ׃ “ They have spoken dib·bê·rū הֵיטִ֖יבוּ well . hê·ṭî·ḇū אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer Deuteronomy 18:18 אָקִ֥ים I will raise up ’ā·qîm לָהֶ֛ם . . . lā·hem נָבִ֨יא for them a prophet nā·ḇî כָּמ֑וֹךָ like you kā·mō·w·ḵā מִקֶּ֥רֶב from among miq·qe·reḇ אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם their brothers . ’ă·ḥê·hem וְנָתַתִּ֤י I will put wə·nā·ṯat·tî דְבָרַי֙ My words ḏə·ḇā·ray בְּפִ֔יו in his mouth , bə·p̄îw וְדִבֶּ֣ר and he will tell wə·ḏib·ber אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם them ’ă·lê·hem אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ everything kāl- אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer אֲצַוֶּֽנּוּ׃ I command him . ’ă·ṣaw·wen·nū Deuteronomy 18:19 וְהָיָ֗ה - wə·hā·yāh אָנֹכִ֖י And I ’ā·nō·ḵî אֶדְרֹ֥שׁ will hold accountable ’eḏ·rōš מֵעִמּֽוֹ׃ . . . mê·‘im·mōw הָאִישׁ֙ anyone hā·’îš אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ does not lō- יִשְׁמַע֙ listen yiš·ma‘ אֶל־ to ’el- דְּבָרַ֔י My words də·ḇā·ray אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer יְדַבֵּ֖ר [the prophet] speaks yə·ḏab·bêr בִּשְׁמִ֑י in My name . biš·mî Deuteronomy 18:20 אַ֣ךְ But ’aḵ הַנָּבִ֡יא if any prophet han·nā·ḇî אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer יָזִיד֩ dares yā·zîḏ לְדַבֵּ֨ר to speak lə·ḏab·bêr
