יְהוָ֛ה to YHWH ; Yah·weh וְנַחֲלָת֖וֹ that is their inheritance . wə·na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw Deuteronomy 18:2 יִֽהְיֶה־ Although they have yih·yeh- לּ֖וֹ lōw לֹא־ no lō- וְנַחֲלָ֥ה inheritance wə·na·ḥă·lāh בְּקֶ֣רֶב among bə·qe·reḇ אֶחָ֑יו their brothers , ’e·ḥāw יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh ה֣וּא . . . hū נַחֲלָת֔וֹ [is] their inheritance , na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר as ka·’ă·šer דִּבֶּר־ He promised dib·ber- לֽוֹ׃ס them . lōw Deuteronomy 18:3 וְזֶ֡ה This wə·zeh יִהְיֶה֩ shall be yih·yeh הַכֹּהֲנִ֜ים the priests’ hak·kō·hă·nîm מֵאֵ֣ת . . . mê·’êṯ מִשְׁפַּ֨ט share miš·paṭ הָעָ֗ם from the people hā·‘ām מֵאֵ֛ת . . . mê·’êṯ זֹבְחֵ֥י who offer zō·ḇə·ḥê הַזֶּ֖בַח a sacrifice , haz·ze·ḇaḥ אִם־ whether ’im- שׁ֣וֹר a bull šō·wr אִם־ or ’im- שֶׂ֑ה a sheep : śeh לַכֹּהֵ֔ן the priests lak·kō·hên וְנָתַן֙ are to be given wə·nā·ṯan הַזְּרֹ֥עַ the shoulder , haz·zə·rō·a‘ וְהַלְּחָיַ֖יִם the jowls , wə·hal·lə·ḥā·ya·yim וְהַקֵּבָֽה׃ and the stomach . wə·haq·qê·ḇāh Deuteronomy 18:4 תִּתֶּן־ You are to give tit·ten- לּֽוֹ׃ them lōw רֵאשִׁ֨ית the firstfruits rê·šîṯ דְּגָֽנְךָ֜ of your grain , də·ḡā·nə·ḵā תִּֽירֹשְׁךָ֣ new wine , tî·rō·šə·ḵā וְיִצְהָרֶ֗ךָ and oil , wə·yiṣ·hā·re·ḵā וְרֵאשִׁ֛ית and the first wə·rê·šîṯ גֵּ֥ז wool sheared gêz צֹאנְךָ֖ from your flock . ṣō·nə·ḵā Deuteronomy 18:5 כִּ֣י For kî יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā בָּחַ֛ר has chosen bā·ḥar ב֗וֹ [Levi] ḇōw וּבָנָ֖יו and his sons ū·ḇā·nāw מִכָּל־ out of all mik·kāl שְׁבָטֶ֑יךָ your tribes šə·ḇā·ṭe·ḵā לַעֲמֹ֨ד to stand la·‘ă·mōḏ לְשָׁרֵ֧ת and minister lə·šā·rêṯ יְהוָ֛ה in [His] Yah·weh ה֥וּא . . . hū בְּשֵׁם־ name bə·šêm- כָּל־ for all kāl- הַיָּמִֽים׃ס time . hay·yā·mîm Deuteronomy 18:6 וְכִֽי־ Now if wə·ḵî- הַלֵּוִ֜י a Levite hal·lê·wî יָבֹ֨א moves yā·ḇō מֵאַחַ֤ד from any mê·’a·ḥaḏ שְׁעָרֶ֙יךָ֙ town šə·‘ā·re·ḵā מִכָּל־ . . . mik·kāl אֲשֶׁר־ vvv ’ă·šer- ה֖וּא vvv hū גָּ֣ר of residence gār שָׁ֑ם throughout šām יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl וּבָא֙ and comes ū·ḇā בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl אַוַּ֣ת earnestness ’aw·waṯ נַפְשׁ֔וֹ . . . nap̄·šōw אֶל־ to ’el- הַמָּק֖וֹם the place ham·mā·qō·wm אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH Yah·weh יִבְחַ֥ר will choose , yiḇ·ḥar Deuteronomy 18:7 וְשֵׁרֵ֕ת then he shall serve wə·šê·rêṯ בְּשֵׁ֖ם in the name bə·šêm יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָ֑יו his God ’ĕ·lō·hāw כְּכָל־ like all kə·ḵāl- אֶחָיו֙ his fellow ’e·ḥāw
