Deuteronomy 9:9 בַּעֲלֹתִ֣י When I went up ba·‘ă·lō·ṯî הָהָ֗רָה on the mountain hā·hā·rāh לָקַ֜חַת to receive lā·qa·ḥaṯ לוּחֹ֤ת the tablets lū·ḥōṯ הָֽאֲבָנִים֙ of stone , hā·’ă·ḇā·nîm לוּחֹ֣ת the tablets lū·ḥōṯ הַבְּרִ֔ית of the covenant hab·bə·rîṯ אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh כָּרַ֥ת made kā·raṯ עִמָּכֶ֑ם with you , ‘im·mā·ḵem וָאֵשֵׁ֣ב I stayed wā·’ê·šêḇ בָּהָ֗ר on the mountain bā·hār אַרְבָּעִ֥ים forty ’ar·bā·‘îm יוֹם֙ days yō·wm וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים and forty wə·’ar·bā·‘îm לַ֔יְלָה nights . lay·lāh אָכַ֔לְתִּי I ate ’ā·ḵal·tî לֹ֣א no lō לֶ֚חֶם bread le·ḥem שָׁתִֽיתִי׃ and drank šā·ṯî·ṯî לֹ֥א no lō וּמַ֖יִם water . ū·ma·yim Deuteronomy 9:10 יְהוָ֜ה Then YHWH Yah·weh אֵלַ֗י . . . ’ê·lay אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּתֵּ֨ן gave me way·yit·tên שְׁנֵי֙ the two šə·nê הָֽאֲבָנִ֔ים stone hā·’ă·ḇā·nîm לוּחֹ֣ת tablets , lū·ḥōṯ כְּתֻבִ֖ים inscribed kə·ṯu·ḇîm בְּאֶצְבַּ֣ע by the finger bə·’eṣ·ba‘ אֱלֹהִ֑ים of God ’ĕ·lō·hîm כְּֽכָל־ with the exact kə·ḵāl- הַדְּבָרִ֡ים words had·də·ḇā·rîm וַעֲלֵיהֶ֗ם - wa·‘ă·lê·hem אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֨ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּר֩ spoke dib·ber עִמָּכֶ֥ם to you ‘im·mā·ḵem מִתּ֥וֹךְ out of mit·tō·wḵ הָאֵ֖שׁ the fire hā·’êš בָּהָ֛ר on the mountain bā·hār בְּי֥וֹם on the day bə·yō·wm הַקָּהָֽל׃ of the assembly . haq·qā·hāl Deuteronomy 9:11 וַיְהִ֗י And way·hî מִקֵּץ֙ at the end miq·qêṣ אַרְבָּעִ֣ים of forty ’ar·bā·‘îm י֔וֹם days yō·wm וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים and forty wə·’ar·bā·‘îm לָ֑יְלָה nights , lā·yə·lāh יְהוָ֜ה YHWH Yah·weh אֵלַ֗י . . . ’ê·lay אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נָתַ֨ן gave me nā·ṯan שְׁנֵ֛י the two šə·nê הָאֲבָנִ֖ים stone hā·’ă·ḇā·nîm לֻחֹ֥ת tablets , lu·ḥōṯ לֻח֥וֹת the tablets lu·ḥō·wṯ הַבְּרִֽית׃ of the covenant . hab·bə·rîṯ Deuteronomy 9:12 יְהוָ֜ה And YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֗י to me , ’ê·lay ק֣וּם “ Get up qūm רֵ֤ד and go down rêḏ מִזֶּ֔ה from here miz·zeh מַהֵר֙ at once , ma·hêr כִּ֚י for kî עַמְּךָ֔ your people , ‘am·mə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֥ר whom ’ă·šer הוֹצֵ֖אתָ you brought hō·w·ṣê·ṯā מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם out of Egypt , mim·miṣ·rā·yim שִׁחֵ֣ת have corrupted [themselves] . ši·ḥêṯ מַהֵ֗ר How quickly ma·hêr סָ֣רוּ they have turned aside sā·rū מִן־ from min- הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ the way had·de·reḵ אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer צִוִּיתִ֔ם I commanded them ! ṣiw·wî·ṯim עָשׂ֥וּ They have made ‘ā·śū לָהֶ֖ם for themselves lā·hem מַסֵּכָֽה׃ a molten image . ” mas·sê·ḵāh Deuteronomy 9:13 יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֥אמֶר also said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֣י to me ’ê·lay לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . , lê·mōr רָאִ֙יתִי֙ “ I have seen rā·’î·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
