בָּכֶ֑ם you bā·ḵem מֵֽרֻבְּכֶ֞ם because you were more numerous mê·rub·bə·ḵem מִכָּל־ than the other mik·kāl הָֽעַמִּ֗ים peoples , hā·‘am·mîm כִּֽי־ for kî- אַתֶּ֥ם you ’at·tem הַמְעַ֖ט were the fewest ham·‘aṭ מִכָּל־ of all mik·kāl הָעַמִּֽים׃ peoples . hā·‘am·mîm Deuteronomy 7:8 כִּי֩ But kî יְהוָ֜ה because YHWH Yah·weh מֵֽאַהֲבַ֨ת loved mê·’a·hă·ḇaṯ אֶתְכֶ֗ם you ’eṯ·ḵem וּמִשָּׁמְר֤וּ and kept ū·miš·šå̄·mə·rū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשְּׁבֻעָה֙ the oath haš·šə·ḇu·‘āh אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer נִשְׁבַּע֙ He swore niš·ba‘ לַאֲבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם to your fathers , la·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem יְהוָ֛ה He Yah·weh אֶתְכֶ֖ם - ’eṯ·ḵem הוֹצִ֧יא brought you out hō·w·ṣî חֲזָקָ֑ה with a mighty ḥă·zā·qāh בְּיָ֣ד hand bə·yāḏ וַֽיִּפְדְּךָ֙ and redeemed you way·yip̄·də·ḵā מִבֵּ֣ית from the house mib·bêṯ עֲבָדִ֔ים of slavery , ‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm מִיַּ֖ד from the hand mî·yaḏ פַּרְעֹ֥ה of Pharaoh par·‘ōh מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Deuteronomy 7:9 וְיָ֣דַעְתָּ֔ Know therefore wə·yā·ḏa‘·tā כִּֽי־ that kî- יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā ה֣וּא . . . hū הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים is God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm הַֽנֶּאֱמָ֔ן the faithful han·ne·’ĕ·mān הָאֵל֙ God hā·’êl שֹׁמֵ֧ר who keeps šō·mêr הַבְּרִ֣ית His covenant hab·bə·rîṯ וְהַחֶ֗סֶד of loving devotion wə·ha·ḥe·seḏ לְאֶ֥לֶף for a thousand lə·’e·lep̄ דּֽוֹר׃ generations dō·wr לְאֹהֲבָ֛יו of those who love Him lə·’ō·hă·ḇāw וּלְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י and keep ū·lə·šō·mə·rê מִצְוֹתוֹ His commandments . miṣ·wō·ṯō Deuteronomy 7:10 לְשֹׂנְאָ֛יו But those who hate Him lə·śō·nə·’āw וּמְשַׁלֵּ֧ם He repays ū·mə·šal·lêm אֶל־ to ’el- פָּנָ֖יו their faces pā·nāw לְהַאֲבִיד֑וֹ with destruction ; lə·ha·’ă·ḇî·ḏōw לֹ֤א He will not lō יְאַחֵר֙ hesitate yə·’a·ḥêr יְשַׁלֶּם־ to repay yə·šal·lem- אֶל־ to ’el- פָּנָ֖יו his face pā·nāw לֽוֹ׃ lōw לְשֹׂ֣נְא֔וֹ the one who hates Him . lə·śō·nə·’ōw Deuteronomy 7:11 וְשָׁמַרְתָּ֨ So keep wə·šā·mar·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמִּצְוָ֜ה the commandments ham·miṣ·wāh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הַֽחֻקִּ֣ים statutes ha·ḥuq·qîm וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֗ים ordinances ham·miš·pā·ṭîm אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer אָנֹכִ֧י I ’ā·nō·ḵî מְצַוְּךָ֛ am giving you mə·ṣaw·wə·ḵā לַעֲשׂוֹתָֽם׃פ to follow la·‘ă·śō·w·ṯām הַיּ֖וֹם this day . hay·yō·wm Deuteronomy 7:12 וְהָיָ֣ה׀ - wə·hā·yāh עֵ֣קֶב If ‘ê·qeḇ תִּשְׁמְע֗וּן you listen to tiš·mə·‘ūn אֵ֤ת - ’êṯ הָאֵ֔לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַמִּשְׁפָּטִים֙ ordinances ham·miš·pā·ṭîm וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֥ם and keep them carefully ū·šə·mar·tem וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם wa·‘ă·śî·ṯem אֹתָ֑ם , ’ō·ṯām יְהוָ֨ה then YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā לְךָ֗ lə·ḵā אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- וְשָׁמַר֩ will keep wə·šā·mar
