יְהוָ֛ה but YHWH Yah·weh וַיּוֹצִיאֵ֧נוּ brought us out way·yō·w·ṣî·’ê·nū מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt mim·miṣ·ra·yim חֲזָקָֽה׃ with a mighty ḥă·zā·qāh בְּיָ֥ד hand . bə·yāḏ Deuteronomy 6:22 לְעֵינֵֽינוּ׃ Before our eyes lə·‘ê·nê·nū יְהוָ֡ה YHWH Yah·weh וַיִּתֵּ֣ן inflicted way·yit·tên גְּדֹלִ֨ים great gə·ḏō·lîm וְרָעִ֧ים׀ and devastating wə·rā·‘îm אוֹתֹ֣ת signs ’ō·w·ṯōṯ וּ֠מֹפְתִים and wonders ū·mō·p̄ə·ṯîm בְּמִצְרַ֛יִם on Egypt , bə·miṣ·ra·yim בְּפַרְעֹ֥ה on Pharaoh , bə·p̄ar·‘ōh וּבְכָל־ and on all ū·ḇə·ḵāl בֵּית֖וֹ his household . bê·ṯōw Deuteronomy 6:23 הוֹצִ֣יא But He brought hō·w·ṣî וְאוֹתָ֖נוּ us out wə·’ō·w·ṯā·nū מִשָּׁ֑ם from there miš·šām לְמַ֙עַן֙ to lə·ma·‘an הָבִ֣יא lead us in hā·ḇî אֹתָ֔נוּ - ’ō·ṯā·nū לָ֤תֶת and give lā·ṯeṯ לָ֙נוּ֙ us lā·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer נִשְׁבַּ֖ע He had sworn niš·ba‘ לַאֲבֹתֵֽינוּ׃ to our fathers . la·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū Deuteronomy 6:24 יְהוָ֗ה And YHWH Yah·weh וַיְצַוֵּ֣נוּ commanded us way·ṣaw·wê·nū לַעֲשׂוֹת֙ to observe la·‘ă·śō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵ֔לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַחֻקִּ֣ים statutes ha·ḥuq·qîm לְיִרְאָ֖ה and to fear lə·yir·’āh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū לְט֥וֹב that we may always be prosperous lə·ṭō·wḇ לָ֙נוּ֙ . . . lā·nū כָּל־ . . . kāl- הַיָּמִ֔ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְחַיֹּתֵ֖נוּ and preserved , lə·ḥay·yō·ṯê·nū כְּהַיּ֥וֹם as [we are] to this day kə·hay·yō·wm הַזֶּֽה׃ . . . . haz·zeh Deuteronomy 6:25 נִשְׁמֹ֨ר And if we are careful niš·mōr לַעֲשׂ֜וֹת to observe la·‘ă·śō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ every kāl- הַזֹּ֗את one of these haz·zōṯ הַמִּצְוָ֣ה commandments ham·miṣ·wāh לִפְנֵ֛י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ka·’ă·šer צִוָּֽנוּ׃ס He has commanded us , ṣiw·wā·nū כִּֽי־ then that kî- תִּֽהְיֶה־ will be tih·yeh- לָּ֑נוּ our lā·nū וּצְדָקָ֖ה righteousness . ” ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh Deuteronomy 7:1 כִּ֤י When kî יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā יְבִֽיאֲךָ֙ brings yə·ḇî·’ă·ḵā אֶל־ you into ’el- הָאָ֕רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- אַתָּ֥ה you ’at·tāh בָא־ are entering ḇā- שָׁ֖מָּה . . . šām·māh לְרִשְׁתָּ֑הּ to possess , lə·riš·tāh וְנָשַׁ֣ל and He drives out wə·nā·šal מִפָּנֶ֡יךָ before you mip·pā·ne·ḵā רַבִּ֣ים׀ many rab·bîm גּֽוֹיִם־ nations — gō·w·yim- הַֽחִתִּי֩ the Hittites , ha·ḥit·tî וְהַגִּרְגָּשִׁ֨י Girgashites , wə·hag·gir·gā·šî וְהָאֱמֹרִ֜י Amorites , wə·hā·’ĕ·mō·rî וְהַכְּנַעֲנִ֣י Canaanites , wə·hak·kə·na·‘ă·nî וְהַפְּרִזִּ֗י Perizzites , wə·hap·pə·riz·zî וְהַֽחִוִּי֙ Hivites , wə·ha·ḥiw·wî וְהַיְבוּסִ֔י and Jebusites , wə·hay·ḇū·sî שִׁבְעָ֣ה seven šiḇ·‘āh
