Deuteronomy 6:15 כִּ֣י For kî יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā בְּקִרְבֶּ֑ךָ who is among you , bə·qir·be·ḵā קַנָּ֛א is a jealous qan·nā אֵ֥ל God . ’êl פֶּן־ Otherwise pen- אַף־ the anger ’ap̄- יְהוָ֤ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā יֶ֠חֱרֶה will be kindled ye·ḥĕ·reh בָּ֔ךְ against you , bāḵ וְהִשְׁמִ֣ידְךָ֔ and He will wipe you wə·hiš·mî·ḏə·ḵā מֵעַ֖ל off mê·‘al פְּנֵ֥י the face pə·nê הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ס of the earth . hā·’ă·ḏā·māh Deuteronomy 6:16 לֹ֣א Do not lō תְנַסּ֔וּ test ṯə·nas·sū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ka·’ă·šer נִסִּיתֶ֖ם you tested Him nis·sî·ṯem בַּמַּסָּֽה׃ at Massah . bam·mas·sāh Deuteronomy 6:17 שָׁמ֣וֹר You are to diligently šā·mō·wr תִּשְׁמְר֔וּן keep tiš·mə·rūn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִצְוֺ֖ת the commandments miṣ·wōṯ יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem וְעֵדֹתָ֥יו and the testimonies wə·‘ê·ḏō·ṯāw וְחֻקָּ֖יו and statutes wə·ḥuq·qāw אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer צִוָּֽךְ׃ He has given you . ṣiw·wāḵ Deuteronomy 6:18 וְעָשִׂ֛יתָ Do wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā הַיָּשָׁ֥ר what is right hay·yā·šār וְהַטּ֖וֹב and good wə·haṭ·ṭō·wḇ בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh לְמַ֙עַן֙ so that lə·ma·‘an יִ֣יטַב it may be well yî·ṭaḇ לָ֔ךְ with you lāḵ וּבָ֗אתָ and that you may enter ū·ḇā·ṯā וְיָֽרַשְׁתָּ֙ and possess wə·yā·raš·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַטֹּבָ֔ה the good haṭ·ṭō·ḇāh הָאָ֣רֶץ land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh נִשְׁבַּ֥ע your God swore niš·ba‘ לַאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃ to give your fathers , la·’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā Deuteronomy 6:19 לַהֲדֹ֥ף driving out la·hă·ḏōp̄ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- אֹיְבֶ֖יךָ your enemies ’ō·yə·ḇe·ḵā מִפָּנֶ֑יךָ before you , mip·pā·ne·ḵā כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֥ר has said . dib·ber Deuteronomy 6:20 מָחָ֖ר In the future , mā·ḥār כִּֽי־ when kî- בִנְךָ֛ your son ḇin·ḵā יִשְׁאָלְךָ֥ asks yiš·’ā·lə·ḵā לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . , lê·mōr מָ֣ה “ What māh הָעֵדֹ֗ת is the meaning of the decrees hā·‘ê·ḏōṯ וְהַֽחֻקִּים֙ and statutes wə·ha·ḥuq·qîm וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֔ים and ordinances wə·ham·miš·pā·ṭîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū אֶתְכֶֽם׃ - ’eṯ·ḵem צִוָּ֛ה has commanded you ? ” ṣiw·wāh Deuteronomy 6:21 וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ then you are to tell wə·’ā·mar·tā לְבִנְךָ֔ him , lə·ḇin·ḵā הָיִ֥ינוּ “ We were hā·yî·nū עֲבָדִ֛ים slaves ‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm לְפַרְעֹ֖ה of Pharaoh lə·p̄ar·‘ōh בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם in Egypt , bə·miṣ·rā·yim
