Deuteronomy 6:8 וּקְשַׁרְתָּ֥ם Tie them ū·qə·šar·tām לְא֖וֹת as reminders lə·’ō·wṯ עַל־ on ‘al- יָדֶ֑ךָ your hands yā·ḏe·ḵā וְהָי֥וּ and bind them wə·hā·yū לְטֹטָפֹ֖ת . . . lə·ṭō·ṭā·p̄ōṯ בֵּ֥ין on your foreheads bên עֵינֶֽיךָ׃ . . . . ‘ê·ne·ḵā Deuteronomy 6:9 וּכְתַבְתָּ֛ם Write them ū·ḵə·ṯaḇ·tām עַל־ on ‘al- מְזוּזֹ֥ת the doorposts mə·zū·zōṯ בֵּיתֶ֖ךָ of your houses bê·ṯe·ḵā וּבִשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ׃ס and on your gates . ū·ḇiš·‘ā·re·ḵā Deuteronomy 6:10 וְהָיָ֞ה - wə·hā·yāh כִּ֥י And when kî יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā יְבִיאֲךָ֣׀ brings yə·ḇî·’ă·ḵā אֶל־ you into ’el- הָאָ֜רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer נִשְׁבַּ֧ע He swore niš·ba‘ לַאֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ to your fathers , la·’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā לְאַבְרָהָ֛ם to Abraham , lə·’aḇ·rā·hām לְיִצְחָ֥ק Isaac , lə·yiṣ·ḥāq וּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֖ב and Jacob , ū·lə·ya·‘ă·qōḇ לָ֣תֶת that He would give lā·ṯeṯ לָ֑ךְ you — lāḵ גְּדֹלֹ֥ת [a land with] great gə·ḏō·lōṯ וְטֹבֹ֖ת and splendid wə·ṭō·ḇōṯ עָרִ֛ים cities ‘ā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer לֹא־ you did not lō- בָנִֽיתָ׃ build , ḇā·nî·ṯā Deuteronomy 6:11 וּבָ֨תִּ֜ים with houses ū·ḇāt·tîm מְלֵאִ֣ים full of mə·lê·’îm כָּל־ every kāl- טוּב֮ good ṭūḇ אֲשֶׁ֣ר thing with which ’ă·šer לֹא־ you did not lō- מִלֵּאתָ֒ fill them , mil·lê·ṯā וּבֹרֹ֤ת with wells ū·ḇō·rōṯ חֲצוּבִים֙ . . . ḥă·ṣū·ḇîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer לֹא־ you did not lō- חָצַ֔בְתָּ dig , ḥā·ṣaḇ·tā כְּרָמִ֥ים and with vineyards kə·rā·mîm וְזֵיתִ֖ים and olive groves wə·zê·ṯîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer לֹא־ you did not lō- נָטָ֑עְתָּ plant — nā·ṭā·‘ə·tā וְאָכַלְתָּ֖ and when you eat wə·’ā·ḵal·tā וְשָׂבָֽעְתָּ׃ and are satisfied , wə·śā·ḇā·‘ə·tā Deuteronomy 6:12 הִשָּׁ֣מֶר be careful hiš·šā·mer לְךָ֔ lə·ḵā פֶּן־ not pen- תִּשְׁכַּ֖ח to forget tiš·kaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֧ר who ’ă·šer הוֹצִֽיאֲךָ֛ brought you out hō·w·ṣî·’ă·ḵā מֵאֶ֥רֶץ of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim מִבֵּ֥ית out of the house mib·bêṯ עֲבָדִֽים׃ of slavery . ‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm Deuteronomy 6:13 אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תִּירָ֖א Fear tî·rā וְאֹת֣וֹ - wə·’ō·ṯōw יְהוָ֧ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā תַעֲבֹ֑ד serve Him [only] , ṯa·‘ă·ḇōḏ תִּשָּׁבֵֽעַ׃ and take your oaths tiš·šā·ḇê·a‘ וּבִשְׁמ֖וֹ in His name . ū·ḇiš·mōw Deuteronomy 6:14 לֹ֣א Do not lō תֵֽלְכ֔וּן follow ṯê·lə·ḵūn אַחֲרֵ֖י . . . ’a·ḥă·rê אֲחֵרִ֑ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm אֱלֹהִ֣ים gods , ’ĕ·lō·hîm מֵאֱלֹהֵי֙ the gods mê·’ĕ·lō·hê הָֽעַמִּ֔ים of the peoples hā·‘am·mîm אֲשֶׁ֖ר - ’ă·šer סְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ around you . sə·ḇî·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem
