Deuteronomy 5:18 וְלֹ֖֣א You shall not wə·lō תִּֿנְאָֽ֑ף׃ס commit adultery . tin·ʾå̄p̄ Deuteronomy 5:19 וְלֹ֖֣א You shall not wə·lō תִּֿגְנֹֽ֔ב׃ס steal . tiḡ·nōḇ Deuteronomy 5:20 וְלֹֽא־ You shall not wə·lō- תַעֲנֶ֥ה bear ṯa·‘ă·neh שָֽׁוְא׃ס false šāw עֵ֥ד witness ‘êḏ בְרֵֽעֲךָ֖ against your neighbor . ḇə·rê·‘ă·ḵā Deuteronomy 5:21 וְלֹ֥א You shall not wə·lō תַחְמֹ֖ד covet ṯaḥ·mōḏ רֵעֶ֑ךָס your neighbor’s rē·ʿɛ·ḵå̄s וְלֹ֨א . . . wə·lō אֵ֣שֶׁת wife . ’ê·šeṯ תִתְאַוֶּ֜ה You shall not covet ṯiṯ·’aw·weh רֵעֶ֗ךָ your neighbor’s rê·‘e·ḵā בֵּ֣ית house bêṯ שָׂדֵ֜הוּ or field , śā·ḏê·hū וְעַבְדּ֤וֹ or his manservant wə·‘aḇ·dōw וַאֲמָתוֹ֙ or maidservant , wa·’ă·mā·ṯōw שׁוֹר֣וֹ or his ox šō·w·rōw וַחֲמֹר֔וֹ or donkey , wa·ḥă·mō·rōw וְכֹ֖ל or anything wə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer לְרֵעֶֽךָ׃ס belongs to your neighbor . ” lə·rê·‘e·ḵā Deuteronomy 5:22 אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֨ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּר֩ spoke dib·ber הָאֵ֡לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֣ים commandments had·də·ḇā·rîm גָּד֖וֹל in a loud gā·ḏō·wl ק֥וֹל voice qō·wl אֶל־ to ’el- כָּל־ your whole kāl- קְהַלְכֶ֜ם assembly qə·hal·ḵem מִתּ֤וֹךְ out of mit·tō·wḵ הָאֵשׁ֙ the fire , hā·’êš הֶֽעָנָ֣ן the cloud , he·‘ā·nān וְהָֽעֲרָפֶ֔ל and the deep darkness wə·hā·‘ă·rā·p̄el בָּהָ֗ר on the mountain ; bā·hār יָסָ֑ף He added yā·sāp̄ וְלֹ֣א nothing more . wə·lō וַֽיִּכְתְּבֵ֗ם And He wrote them way·yiḵ·tə·ḇêm עַל־ on ‘al- שְׁנֵי֙ two šə·nê לֻחֹ֣ת tablets lu·ḥōṯ אֲבָנִ֔ים of stone ’ă·ḇā·nîm וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖ם and gave them way·yit·tə·nêm אֵלָֽי׃ to me . ’ê·lāy Deuteronomy 5:23 וַיְהִ֗י - way·hî כְּשָׁמְעֲכֶ֤ם And when you heard kə·šā·mə·‘ă·ḵem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַקּוֹל֙ the voice haq·qō·wl מִתּ֣וֹךְ out of mit·tō·wḵ הַחֹ֔שֶׁךְ the darkness ha·ḥō·šeḵ וְהָהָ֖ר while the mountain wə·hā·hār בֹּעֵ֣ר was blazing bō·‘êr בָּאֵ֑שׁ with fire , bā·’êš כָּל־ all kāl- רָאשֵׁ֥י the heads rā·šê שִׁבְטֵיכֶ֖ם of your tribes šiḇ·ṭê·ḵem וְזִקְנֵיכֶֽם׃ and your elders wə·ziq·nê·ḵem וַתִּקְרְב֣וּן approached wat·tiq·rə·ḇūn אֵלַ֔י me , ’ê·lay Deuteronomy 5:24 וַתֹּאמְר֗וּ and you said , wat·tō·mə·rū הֵ֣ן “ Behold , hên יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הֶרְאָ֜נוּ has shown us her·’ā·nū כְּבֹד֣וֹ His glory kə·ḇō·ḏōw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- גָּדְל֔וֹ and greatness , gā·ḏə·lōw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ and we have heard šā·ma‘·nū קֹל֥וֹ His voice qō·lōw מִתּ֣וֹךְ out of mit·tō·wḵ הָאֵ֑שׁ the fire . hā·’êš הַיּ֤וֹם Today hay·yō·wm הַזֶּה֙ . . . haz·zeh רָאִ֔ינוּ we have seen rā·’î·nū כִּֽי־ that kî-
