יְהוָ֥֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶֽ֗יךָ׃ your God ʾɛ̆·lō·hɛ·ḵå̄ צִוְּךָ֖֣׀ has commanded you . ṣiw·wə·ḵā Deuteronomy 5:13 שֵׁ֤֣שֶׁת Six šê·šeṯ יָמִ֣ים֙ days yā·mîm תַּֽעֲבֹ֔ד֮ you shall labor ta·‘ă·ḇōḏ וְעָשִׂ֖֣יתָ and do wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā כָּֿל־ all kå̄l- מְלַאכְתֶּֽךָ֒׃ your work , mə·laḵ·te·ḵā Deuteronomy 5:14 הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜֔י but the seventh haš·šə·ḇî·‘î וְי֙וֹם֙ day wə·yō·wm שַׁבָּ֖֣ת׀ is a Sabbath šab·bāṯ לַיהוָ֣֥ה to YHWH laš·šēm אֱלֹהֶ֑֗יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā לֹ֣א on which you must not lō תַעֲשֶׂ֣ה do ṯa·‘ă·śeh כָל־ any ḵāl מְלָאכָ֡ה work — mə·lā·ḵāh אַתָּ֣ה neither you , ’at·tāh וּבִנְךָֽ־ nor your son ū·ḇin·ḵā- וּבִתֶּ֣ךָ [or] daughter , ū·ḇit·te·ḵā וְעַבְדְּךָֽ־ nor your manservant wə·‘aḇ·də·ḵā- וַ֠אֲמָתֶךָ [or] maidservant , wa·’ă·mā·ṯe·ḵā וְשׁוֹרְךָ֨ nor your ox wə·šō·wr·ḵā וַחֲמֹֽרְךָ֜ or donkey wa·ḥă·mō·rə·ḵā וְכָל־ or any wə·ḵāl בְּהֶמְתֶּ֗ךָ of your livestock , bə·hem·te·ḵā וְגֵֽרְךָ֙ nor the foreigner wə·ḡê·rə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer בִּשְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ within your gates , biš·‘ā·re·ḵā לְמַ֗עַן so that lə·ma·‘an עַבְדְּךָ֥ your manservant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā וַאֲמָתְךָ֖ and maidservant wa·’ă·mā·ṯə·ḵā יָנ֛וּחַ may rest yā·nū·aḥ כָּמֽ֑וֹךָ׃ as you do . kå̄·mō·ḵå̄ Deuteronomy 5:15 וְזָכַרְתָּ֞֗ Remember wə·zā·ḵar·tā כִּ֣י־ that kî- הָיִ֣֙יתָ֙׀ you were hā·yî·ṯā עֶ֤֥בֶד a slave ‘e·ḇeḏ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֔֗יִם of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim יְהוָ֤֨ה and that YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֤֙יךָ֙ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā וַיֹּצִ֨אֲךָ֜֩ brought you out way·yō·ṣi·’ă·ḵā מִשָּׁ֔ם֙ of there miš·šām חֲזָקָ֖ה֙ with a mighty ḥă·zā·qāh בְּיָ֤֥ד hand bə·yāḏ נְטוּיָ֑֔ה and an outstretched nə·ṭū·yāh וּבִזְרֹ֣עַ arm . ū·ḇiz·rō·a‘ עַל־ That is why ‘al- כֵּ֗ן . . . kên יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā צִוְּךָ֙ has commanded ṣiw·wə·ḵā לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת you to keep la·‘ă·śō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשַׁבָּֽת׃ס the Sabbath ha·šab·bå̄ṯ י֥וֹם day . yō·wm Deuteronomy 5:16 כַּבֵּ֤ד Honor kab·bêḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָבִ֙יךָ֙ your father ’ā·ḇî·ḵā וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אִמֶּ֔ךָ and your mother , ’im·me·ḵā כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā צִוְּךָ֖ has commanded you , ṣiw·wə·ḵā לְמַ֣עַן׀ so that lə·ma·‘an יָמֶ֗יךָ your days yā·me·ḵā יַאֲרִיכֻ֣ן may be long ya·’ă·rî·ḵun וּלְמַ֙עַן֙ and that ū·lə·ma·‘an יִ֣יטַב it may go well yî·ṭaḇ לָ֔ךְ with you lāḵ עַ֚ל in ‘al הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה the land hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā נֹתֵ֥ן is giving nō·ṯên לָֽךְ׃ס you . lāḵ Deuteronomy 5:17 לֹ֥֖א You shall not lō תִּֿרְצָֽח׃ס murder . tir·ṣå̄ḥ
