Deuteronomy 5:6 אָֽנֹכִי֙ “ I ’ā·nō·ḵî יְהוָ֣ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֧ר who ’ă·šer הוֹצֵאתִ֛יךָ brought you out hō·w·ṣê·ṯî·ḵā מֵאֶ֥רֶץ of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim מִבֵּ֣ית out of the house mib·bēṯ עֲבָדִֽ֑ים׃ of slavery . ʿă·ḇå̄·ḏīm Deuteronomy 5:7 יִהְיֶ֥ה־ You shall have yih·yeh- לֹ֣א no lō לְךָ֛֩ - lə·ḵā אֲחֵרִ֖֜ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm אֱלֹהִ֥֨ים gods ’ĕ·lō·hîm עַל־ before ‘al- פָּנָֽ֗יַ׃ Me . pā·nā·ya Deuteronomy 5:8 לֹֽ֣א־ {You shall} not lō- תַעֲשֶׂ֥ה־ make ṯa·‘ă·śeh- לְךָ֥֣ for yourself lə·ḵā פֶ֣֙סֶל֙׀ an idol p̄e·sel תְּמוּנָ֔֡ה in the form tə·mū·nāh אֲשֶׁ֤֣ר - ’ă·šer כָּל־ of anything kāl- בַּשָּׁמַ֣֙יִם֙׀ in the heavens baš·šā·ma·yim מִמַּ֔֡עַל above , mim·ma·‘al וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר֩ - wa·’ă·šer בָּאָ֖֨רֶץ on the earth bā·’ā·reṣ מִתָּ֑֜חַת below , mit·tā·ḥaṯ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר - wa·’ă·šer בַּמַּ֖֣יִם׀ or in the waters bam·ma·yim מִתַּ֥֣חַת beneath mit·ta·ḥaṯ לָאָֽ֗רֶץ׃ - . lā·’ā·reṣ Deuteronomy 5:9 לֹא־ You shall not lō- תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֥֣ה bow down ṯiš·ta·ḥă·weh לָהֶ֖ם֮ to them lā·hem וְלֹ֣א . . . wə·lō תָעָבְדֵ֑ם֒ or worship them ; ṯā·‘ā·ḇə·ḏêm כִּ֣י for kî אָנֹכִ֞י I , ’ā·nō·ḵî יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā קַנָּ֔א am a jealous qan·nā אֵ֣ל God , ’êl פֹּ֠קֵד visiting pō·qêḏ עֲוֺ֨ן the iniquity ‘ă·wōn אָב֧וֹת of the fathers ’ā·ḇō·wṯ עַל־ on ‘al- בָּנִ֛ים their children bā·nîm וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- שִׁלֵּשִׁ֥ים to the third šil·lê·šîm וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- רִבֵּעִ֖ים and fourth [generations] rib·bê·‘îm לְשֹׂנְאָֽ֑י׃ of those who hate Me , lə·śō·nə·ʾå̄y Deuteronomy 5:10 וְעֹ֤֥שֶׂה but showing wə·‘ō·śeh חֶ֖֙סֶד֙ loving devotion ḥe·seḏ לַֽאֲלָפִ֑֔ים to a thousand [generations] la·’ă·lā·p̄îm לְאֹהֲבַ֖י of those who love Me lə·’ō·hă·ḇay וּלְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י and keep ū·lə·šō·mə·rê מִצְוֹתוֹ׃ס My commandments . miṣ·wō·ṯō Deuteronomy 5:11 לֹ֥א You shall not lō תִשָּׂ֛א take ṯiś·śā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שֵֽׁם־ the name šêm- יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā לַשָּׁ֑וְא in vain , laš·šāw כִּ֣י for kî יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אֵ֛ת - ’êṯ לֹ֤א will not lō יְנַקֶּה֙ leave anyone unpunished yə·naq·qeh אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- יִשָּׂ֥א takes yiś·śā שְׁמ֖וֹ His name šə·mōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לַשָּֽׁוְא׃ס in vain . laš·šāw Deuteronomy 5:12 שָׁמ֣֛וֹר Observe šā·mō·wr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשַּׁבָּ֖֨ת the Sabbath haš·šab·bå̄ṯ י֥וֹם֩ day yō·wm לְקַדְּשׁ֑֜וֹ by keeping it holy , lə·qad·də·šōw כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ka·’ă·šer
