גּ֣וֹי nation [is] gō·w גָּד֔וֹל great enough gā·ḏō·wl אֲשֶׁר־ to ’ă·šer- ל֛וֹ have lōw צַדִּיקִ֑ם righteous ṣad·dî·qim חֻקִּ֥ים statutes ḥuq·qîm וּמִשְׁפָּטִ֖ים and ordinances ū·miš·pā·ṭîm הַזֹּ֔את like this haz·zōṯ אֲשֶׁ֧ר - ’ă·šer כְּכֹל֙ entire kə·ḵōl הַתּוֹרָ֣ה law hat·tō·w·rāh אָנֹכִ֛י I ’ā·nō·ḵî נֹתֵ֥ן set nō·ṯên לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם before you lip̄·nê·ḵem הַיּֽוֹם׃ today ? hay·yō·wm Deuteronomy 4:9 רַ֡ק Only raq הִשָּׁ֣מֶר be on your guard hiš·šā·mer לְךָ֩ lə·ḵā מְאֹ֗ד and diligently mə·’ōḏ וּשְׁמֹ֨ר watch ū·šə·mōr נַפְשְׁךָ֜ yourselves , nap̄·šə·ḵā פֶּן־ so that you do not pen- תִּשְׁכַּ֨ח forget tiš·kaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַדְּבָרִ֜ים the things had·də·ḇā·rîm אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- עֵינֶ֗יךָ your eyes ‘ê·ne·ḵā רָא֣וּ have seen , rā·’ū וּפֶן־ and so that they do not ū·p̄en- יָס֙וּרוּ֙ slip yā·sū·rū מִלְּבָ֣בְךָ֔ from your heart mil·lə·ḇā·ḇə·ḵā כֹּ֖ל as kōl יְמֵ֣י . . . yə·mê חַיֶּ֑יךָ long as you live . ḥay·ye·ḵā וְהוֹדַעְתָּ֥ם Teach them wə·hō·w·ḏa‘·tām לְבָנֶ֖יךָ to your children lə·ḇā·ne·ḵā וְלִבְנֵ֥י and grandchildren wə·liḇ·nê בָנֶֽיךָ׃ . . . . ḇā·ne·ḵā Deuteronomy 4:10 י֗וֹם The day yō·wm אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer עָמַ֜דְתָּ you stood ‘ā·maḏ·tā לִפְנֵ֨י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶיךָ֮ your God ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā בְּחֹרֵב֒ at Horeb , bə·ḥō·rêḇ יְהוָ֜ה YHWH Yah·weh בֶּאֱמֹ֨ר said be·’ĕ·mōr אֵלַ֗י to me , ’ê·lay הַקְהֶל־ “ Gather haq·hel- לִי֙ lî הָעָ֔ם the people hā·‘ām אֶת־ before Me ’eṯ- וְאַשְׁמִעֵ֖ם to hear wə·’aš·mi·‘êm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דְּבָרָ֑י My words , də·ḇā·rāy אֲשֶׁ֨ר so that ’ă·šer יִלְמְד֜וּן they may learn yil·mə·ḏūn לְיִרְאָ֣ה to fear lə·yir·’āh אֹתִ֗י Me ’ō·ṯî כָּל־ all kāl- הַיָּמִים֙ the days hay·yā·mîm אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer הֵ֤ם they hêm חַיִּים֙ live ḥay·yîm עַל־ on ‘al- הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה the earth , hā·’ă·ḏā·māh וְאֶת־ and that wə·’eṯ- יְלַמֵּדֽוּן׃ they may teach them yə·lam·mê·ḏūn בְּנֵיהֶ֖ם to their children . ” bə·nê·hem Deuteronomy 4:11 וַתִּקְרְב֥וּן You came near wat·tiq·rə·ḇūn וַתַּֽעַמְד֖וּן and stood wat·ta·‘am·ḏūn תַּ֣חַת at the base ta·ḥaṯ הָהָ֑ר of the mountain , hā·hār וְהָהָ֞ר a mountain wə·hā·hār בֹּעֵ֤ר blazing bō·‘êr בָּאֵשׁ֙ with fire bā·’êš עַד־ to ‘aḏ- לֵ֣ב . . . lêḇ הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם the heavens , haš·šā·ma·yim עָנָ֥ן with black clouds ‘ā·nān וַעֲרָפֶֽל׃ and deep wa·‘ă·rā·p̄el חֹ֖שֶׁךְ darkness . ḥō·šeḵ Deuteronomy 4:12 יְהוָ֛ה And YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֧ר spoke way·ḏab·bêr אֲלֵיכֶ֖ם to you ’ă·lê·ḵem מִתּ֣וֹךְ out of mit·tō·wḵ הָאֵ֑שׁ the fire . hā·’êš אַתֶּ֣ם You ’at·tem
