וַיַּקְרֵ֥ב brought way·yaq·rêḇ מִשְׁפָּטָ֖ן their case miš·på̄·ṭå̄n לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH , Yah·weh Numbers 27:6 יְהוָ֖ה and YHWH Yah·weh אֶל־ . . . ’el- וַיֹּ֥אמֶר answered way·yō·mer מֹשֶׁ֥ה him , mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . lê·mōr Numbers 27:7 בְּנ֣וֹת “ The daughters bə·nō·wṯ צְלָפְחָד֮ of Zelophehad ṣə·lā·p̄ə·ḥāḏ דֹּבְרֹת֒ speak dō·ḇə·rōṯ כֵּ֗ן correctly . kên נָתֹ֨ן You certainly must give nā·ṯōn תִּתֵּ֤ן . . . tit·tên לָהֶם֙ them lā·hem אֲחֻזַּ֣ת property ’ă·ḥuz·zaṯ נַחֲלָ֔ה as an inheritance na·ḥă·lāh בְּת֖וֹךְ among bə·ṯō·wḵ אֲבִיהֶ֑ם their father’s ’ă·ḇî·hem אֲחֵ֣י brothers , ’ă·ḥê וְהַֽעֲבַרְתָּ֛ and transfer wə·ha·‘ă·ḇar·tā אֶת־ their ’eṯ- אֲבִיהֶ֖ן father’s ’ă·ḇî·hen נַחֲלַ֥ת inheritance na·ḥă·laṯ לָהֶֽן׃ to them . lā·hen Numbers 27:8 וְאֶל־ Furthermore , wə·’el- תְּדַבֵּ֣ר you shall say tə·ḏab·bêr לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . lê·mōr בְּנֵ֥י to the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . , yiś·rā·’êl כִּֽי־ ‘ If kî- אִ֣ישׁ a man ’îš יָמ֗וּת dies yā·mūṯ אֵ֣ין and leaves no ’ên ל֔וֹ lōw וּבֵן֙ son , ū·ḇên וְהַֽעֲבַרְתֶּ֥ם you are to transfer wə·ha·‘ă·ḇar·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נַחֲלָת֖וֹ his inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw לְבִתּֽוֹ׃ to his daughter . lə·ḇit·tōw Numbers 27:9 וְאִם־ If wə·’im- אֵ֥ין he has no ’ên ל֖וֹ lōw בַּ֑ת daughter , baṯ וּנְתַתֶּ֥ם give ū·nə·ṯat·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נַחֲלָת֖וֹ his inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw לְאֶחָיו׃ to his brothers . lə·ʾɛ·ḥå̄w Numbers 27:10 וְאִם־ If wə·’im- אֵ֥ין he has no ’ên ל֖וֹ lōw אַחִ֑ים brothers , ’a·ḥîm וּנְתַתֶּ֥ם give ū·nə·ṯat·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נַחֲלָת֖וֹ his inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw אָבִֽיו׃ to his father’s ’ā·ḇîw לַאֲחֵ֥י brothers . la·’ă·ḥê Numbers 27:11 וְאִם־ And if wə·’im- לְאָבִיו֒ his father lə·’ā·ḇîw אֵ֣ין has no ’ên אַחִים֮ brothers , ’a·ḥîm וּנְתַתֶּ֣ם give ū·nə·ṯat·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נַחֲלָת֗וֹ his inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw הַקָּרֹ֥ב to the next haq·qā·rōḇ אֵלָ֛יו . . . ’ê·lāw לִשְׁאֵר֞וֹ of kin liš·’ê·rōw מִמִּשְׁפַּחְתּ֖וֹ from his clan , mim·miš·paḥ·tōw וְיָרַ֣שׁ that he may take possession of it . wə·yā·raš אֹתָ֑הּ - ’ō·ṯāh וְֽהָ֨יְתָ֜ה This is to be wə·hā·yə·ṯāh לְחֻקַּ֣ת a statutory lə·ḥuq·qaṯ מִשְׁפָּ֔ט ordinance miš·pāṭ לִבְנֵ֤י for the Israelites liḇ·nê יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ . . . , yiś·rā·’êl כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh צִוָּ֥ה has commanded ṣiw·wāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֹשֶֽׁה׃ס Moses . ’” mō·šeh
