קַח־ “ Take qaḥ- לְךָ֙ lə·ḵā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ בִּן־ son bin- נ֔וּן of Nun , nūn אִ֖ישׁ a man with ’îš אֲשֶׁר־ vvv ’ă·šer- ר֣וּחַ the Spirit rū·aḥ בּ֑וֹ in him , bōw וְסָמַכְתָּ֥ and lay wə·sā·maḵ·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדְךָ֖ your hands yā·ḏə·ḵā עָלָֽיו׃ on him . ‘ā·lāw Numbers 27:19 וְהַֽעֲמַדְתָּ֣ Have him stand wə·ha·‘ă·maḏ·tā אֹת֗וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw לִפְנֵי֙ before lip̄·nê אֶלְעָזָ֣ר Eleazar ’el·‘ā·zār הַכֹּהֵ֔ן the priest hak·kō·hên וְלִפְנֵ֖י . . . wə·lip̄·nê כָּל־ and the whole kāl- הָעֵדָ֑ה congregation , hā·‘ê·ḏāh וְצִוִּיתָ֥ה and commission wə·ṣiw·wî·ṯāh אֹת֖וֹ him ’ō·ṯōw לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃ in their sight . lə·‘ê·nê·hem Numbers 27:20 וְנָתַתָּ֥ה Confer wə·nā·ṯat·tāh עָלָ֑יו on him ‘ā·lāw מֵהֽוֹדְךָ֖ [some of] your authority , mê·hō·wḏ·ḵā לְמַ֣עַן so that lə·ma·‘an כָּל־ the whole kāl- עֲדַ֖ת congregation ‘ă·ḏaṯ בְּנֵ֥י . . . bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יִשְׁמְע֔וּ will obey him . yiš·mə·‘ū Numbers 27:21 יַעֲמֹ֔ד He shall stand ya·‘ă·mōḏ וְלִפְנֵ֨י before wə·lip̄·nê אֶלְעָזָ֤ר Eleazar ’el·‘ā·zār הַכֹּהֵן֙ the priest , hak·kō·hên וְשָׁ֥אַל who will seek counsel wə·šā·’al ל֛וֹ for him lōw יְהוָ֑ה before YHWH Yah·weh בְּמִשְׁפַּ֥ט by the judgment bə·miš·paṭ הָאוּרִ֖ים of the Urim . hā·’ū·rîm עַל־ At ‘al- פִּ֨יו his command pîw לִפְנֵ֣י . . . , lip̄·nê ה֛וּא he hū וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl בְּנֵי־ the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl אִתּ֖וֹ with him — ’it·tōw וְכָל־ the entire wə·ḵāl הָעֵדָֽה׃ congregation — hā·‘ê·ḏāh יֵצְא֜וּ will go out yê·ṣə·’ū וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- פִּ֣יו . . . pîw יָבֹ֗אוּ and come in . ” yā·ḇō·’ū Numbers 27:22 מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses mō·šeh וַיַּ֣עַשׂ did way·ya·‘aś כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֹת֑וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw צִוָּ֥ה had commanded him . ṣiw·wāh וַיִּקַּ֣ח He took way·yiq·qaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ Joshua , yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ וַיַּֽעֲמִדֵ֙הוּ֙ had him stand way·ya·‘ă·mi·ḏê·hū לִפְנֵי֙ before lip̄·nê אֶלְעָזָ֣ר Eleazar ’el·‘ā·zār הַכֹּהֵ֔ן the priest hak·kō·hên וְלִפְנֵ֖י . . . wə·lip̄·nê כָּל־ and the whole kāl- הָעֵדָֽה׃ congregation , hā·‘ê·ḏāh Numbers 27:23 וַיִּסְמֹ֧ךְ and laid way·yis·mōḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדָ֛יו his hands yā·ḏāw עָלָ֖יו on him ‘ā·lāw וַיְצַוֵּ֑הוּ and commissioned him , way·ṣaw·wê·hū כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֥ר had instructed dib·ber בְּיַד־ through bə·yaḏ- מֹשֶֽׁה׃פ Moses . mō·šeh
