וְאֵ֛ת - wə·’êṯ תִּפְדֶּֽה׃ [and] tip̄·deh בְּכֽוֹר־ every firstborn male bə·ḵō·wr- הַטְּמֵאָ֖ה of unclean haṭ·ṭə·mê·’āh הַבְּהֵמָ֥ה animals . hab·bə·hê·māh Numbers 18:16 וּפְדוּיָו֙ You are to pay the redemption price ū·p̄ə·ḏū·yāw מִבֶּן־ for a month-old male mib·ben- חֹ֣דֶשׁ . . . ḥō·ḏeš תִּפְדֶּ֔ה . . . tip̄·deh בְּעֶ֨רְכְּךָ֔ according to your valuation : bə·‘er·kə·ḵā חֲמֵ֥שֶׁת five ḥă·mê·šeṯ שְׁקָלִ֖ים shekels šə·qā·lîm כֶּ֛סֶף of silver , ke·sep̄ הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ according to the sanctuary haq·qō·ḏeš בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל shekel , bə·še·qel הֽוּא׃ which hū עֶשְׂרִ֥ים is twenty ‘eś·rîm גֵּרָ֖ה gerahs . gê·rāh Numbers 18:17 אַ֣ךְ But ’aḵ לֹ֥א you must not lō תִפְדֶּ֖ה redeem ṯip̄·deh בְּֽכוֹר־ the firstborn bə·ḵō·wr- שׁ֡וֹר of an ox , šō·wr כֶּ֜שֶׂב a sheep , ke·śeḇ אֽוֹ־ . . . ’ōw- בְכ֥וֹר . . . ḇə·ḵō·wr אֽוֹ־ or ’ōw- בְכ֨וֹר . . . ḇə·ḵō·wr עֵ֛ז a goat ; ‘êz הֵ֑ם they hêm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- קֹ֣דֶשׁ are holy . qō·ḏeš תִּזְרֹ֤ק You are to sprinkle tiz·rōq דָּמָ֞ם their blood dā·mām עַל־ on ‘al- הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- תַּקְטִ֔יר and burn taq·ṭîr חֶלְבָּ֣ם their fat ḥel·bām אִשֶּׁ֛ה as an offering made by fire , ’iš·šeh נִיחֹ֖חַ a pleasing nî·ḥō·aḥ לְרֵ֥יחַ aroma lə·rê·aḥ לַֽיהוָֽה׃ to YHWH . Yah·weh Numbers 18:18 וּבְשָׂרָ֖ם And their meat ū·ḇə·śā·rām יִהְיֶה־ belongs yih·yeh- לָּ֑ךְ to you , lāḵ כַּחֲזֵ֧ה just as the breast ka·ḥă·zêh הַיָּמִ֖ין and right hay·yā·mîn וּכְשׁ֥וֹק thigh ū·ḵə·šō·wq הַתְּנוּפָ֛ה of the wave offering hat·tə·nū·p̄āh יִהְיֶֽה׃ belong yih·yeh לְךָ֥ to you . lə·ḵā Numbers 18:19 כֹּ֣ל׀ All kōl הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים the holy haq·qo·ḏā·šîm תְּרוּמֹ֣ת offerings tə·rū·mōṯ אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer בְנֵֽי־ vvv ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ the Israelites yiś·rā·’êl יָרִ֥ימוּ present yā·rî·mū לַֽיהוָה֒ to YHWH Yah·weh נָתַ֣תִּֽי I give nā·ṯat·tî לְךָ֗ to you lə·ḵā וּלְבָנֶ֧יךָ and to your sons ū·lə·ḇā·ne·ḵā וְלִבְנֹתֶ֛יךָ and daughters wə·liḇ·nō·ṯe·ḵā אִתְּךָ֖ . . . ’it·tə·ḵā עוֹלָ֑ם as a permanent ‘ō·w·lām לְחָק־ statute . lə·ḥāq- הִוא֙ It hî עוֹלָ֥ם is a permanent ‘ō·w·lām בְּרִית֩ covenant bə·rîṯ מֶ֨לַח of salt me·laḥ לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh לְךָ֖ for you lə·ḵā וּלְזַרְעֲךָ֥ and your offspring ū·lə·zar·‘ă·ḵā אִתָּֽךְ׃ . . . . ” ’it·tāḵ Numbers 18:20 יְהוָ֜ה Then YHWH Yah·weh אֶֽל־ . . . ’el- וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אַהֲרֹ֗ן to Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn לֹ֣א “ You will have no lō תִנְחָ֔ל inheritance ṯin·ḥāl בְּאַרְצָם֙ in their land , bə·’ar·ṣām לֹא־ nor lō- יִהְיֶ֥ה will you have yih·yeh
