עַל־ facedown ‘al- פְּנֵיהֶם֙ . . . pə·nê·hem וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ and said , way·yō·mə·rū אֵ֕ל “ O God , ’êl אֱלֹהֵ֥י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê הָרוּחֹ֖ת of the spirits hā·rū·ḥōṯ לְכָל־ of all lə·ḵāl בָּשָׂ֑ר flesh , bā·śār אֶחָד֙ when one ’e·ḥāḏ הָאִ֤ישׁ man hā·’îš יֶחֱטָ֔א sins , ye·ḥĕ·ṭā תִּקְצֹֽף׃פ will You be angry tiq·ṣōp̄ וְעַ֥ל with wə·‘al כָּל־ the whole kāl- הָעֵדָ֖ה congregation ? ” hā·‘ê·ḏāh Numbers 16:23 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Numbers 16:24 דַּבֵּ֥ר “ Tell dab·bêr אֶל־ . . . ’el- הָעֵדָ֖ה the congregation hā·‘ê·ḏāh לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . lê·mōr הֵֽעָלוּ֙ to move away hê·‘ā·lū מִסָּבִ֔יב from mis·sā·ḇîḇ לְמִשְׁכַּן־ the dwellings lə·miš·kan- קֹ֖רַח of Korah , qō·raḥ דָּתָ֥ן Dathan , dā·ṯān וַאֲבִירָֽם׃ and Abiram . ” wa·’ă·ḇî·rām Numbers 16:25 מֹשֶׁ֔ה So Moses mō·šeh וַיָּ֣קָם got up way·yā·qām וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ and went way·yê·leḵ אֶל־ to ’el- דָּתָ֣ן Dathan dā·ṯān וַאֲבִירָ֑ם and Abiram , wa·’ă·ḇî·rām זִקְנֵ֥י and the elders ziq·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ followed way·yê·lə·ḵū אַחֲרָ֖יו him . ’a·ḥă·rāw Numbers 16:26 וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר And he warned way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ . . . ’el- הָעֵדָ֜ה the congregation , hā·‘ê·ḏāh לֵאמֹ֗ר . . . lê·mōr ס֣וּרוּ “ Move away sū·rū נָ֡א now nā מֵעַל֩ from mê·‘al אָהֳלֵ֨י the tents ’ā·ho·lê הָאֵ֔לֶּה of these hā·’êl·leh הָֽרְשָׁעִים֙ wicked hā·rə·šā·‘îm הָאֲנָשִׁ֤ים men . hā·’ă·nā·šîm וְאַֽל־ Do not wə·’al- תִּגְּע֖וּ touch tig·gə·‘ū בְּכָל־ anything bə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁ֣ר that belongs ’ă·šer לָהֶ֑ם to them , lā·hem פֶּן־ or pen- תִּסָּפ֖וּ you will be swept away tis·sā·p̄ū בְּכָל־ because of all bə·ḵāl חַטֹּאתָֽם׃ their sins . ” ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯām Numbers 16:27 וַיֵּעָל֗וּ So they moved away way·yê·‘ā·lū מֵעַ֧ל from mê·‘al מִשְׁכַּן־ the dwellings miš·kan- קֹ֛רֶח of Korah , qō·rɛḥ דָּתָ֥ן Dathan , dā·ṯān וַאֲבִירָ֖ם and Abiram . wa·’ă·ḇî·rām מִסָּבִ֑יב Meanwhile , mis·sā·ḇîḇ וְדָתָ֨ן Dathan wə·ḏā·ṯān וַאֲבִירָ֜ם and Abiram wa·’ă·ḇî·rām יָצְא֣וּ had come out yā·ṣə·’ū נִצָּבִ֗ים and stood niṣ·ṣā·ḇîm פֶּ֚תַח at the entrances pe·ṯaḥ אָֽהֳלֵיהֶ֔ם to their tents ’ā·ho·lê·hem וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֥ם with their wives ū·nə·šê·hem וּבְנֵיהֶ֖ם and children ū·ḇə·nê·hem וְטַפָּֽם׃ and infants . wə·ṭap·pām Numbers 16:28 מֹשֶׁה֒ Then Moses mō·šeh וַיֹּאמֶר֮ said , way·yō·mer בְּזֹאת֙ “ This is how bə·zōṯ תֵּֽדְע֔וּן you will know tê·ḏə·‘ūn כִּֽי־ that kî- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh
