שְׁנָתָ֖הּ . . . šə·nā·ṯāh עֵ֥ז female goat ‘êz לְחַטָּֽאת׃ as a sin offering . lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ Numbers 15:28 הַכֹּהֵ֗ן And the priest hak·kō·hên וְכִפֶּ֣ר shall make atonement wə·ḵip·per לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh עַל־ on behalf of ‘al- הַנֶּ֧פֶשׁ the person han·ne·p̄eš בִשְׁגָגָ֖ה who erred ḇiš·ḡā·ḡāh הַשֹּׁגֶ֛גֶת by sinning unintentionally haš·šō·ḡe·ḡeṯ בְּחֶטְאָ֥ה . . . ; bə·ḥeṭ·’āh לְכַפֵּ֥ר and when atonement has been made lə·ḵap·pêr עָלָ֖יו for him , ‘ā·lāw וְנִסְלַ֥ח he will be forgiven wə·nis·laḥ לֽוֹ׃ . lōw Numbers 15:29 לָכֶ֔ם You lā·ḵem יִהְיֶ֣ה shall have yih·yeh אַחַת֙ the same ’a·ḥaṯ תּוֹרָ֤ה law tō·w·rāh לָעֹשֶׂ֖ה for the one who acts lā·‘ō·śeh בִּשְׁגָגָֽה׃ in error , biš·ḡā·ḡāh הָֽאֶזְרָח֙ whether he is a native-born hā·’ez·rāḥ בִּבְנֵ֣י Israelite biḇ·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וְלַגֵּ֖ר or a foreigner wə·lag·gêr הַגָּ֣ר residing hag·gār בְּתוֹכָ֑ם among you . bə·ṯō·w·ḵām Numbers 15:30 וְהַנֶּ֜פֶשׁ But the person wə·han·ne·p̄eš אֲשֶֽׁר־ who ’ă·šer- תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה׀ vvv ta·‘ă·śeh בְּיָ֣ד sins defiantly bə·yāḏ רָמָ֗ה . . . , rā·māh מִן־ whether min- הָֽאֶזְרָח֙ a native hā·’ez·rāḥ וּמִן־ or ū·min- הַגֵּ֔ר foreigner , hag·gêr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מְגַדֵּ֑ף blasphemes mə·ḡad·dêp̄ יְהוָ֖ה YHWH . Yah·weh ה֣וּא That hū הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ person han·ne·p̄eš הַהִ֖וא . . . ha·hi·w וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה shall be cut off wə·niḵ·rə·ṯāh מִקֶּ֥רֶב from among miq·qe·reḇ עַמָּֽהּ׃ his people . ‘am·māh Numbers 15:31 הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ He han·ne·p̄eš הַהִ֖וא . . . ha·hi·w הִכָּרֵ֧ת׀ shall certainly be cut off hik·kā·rêṯ תִּכָּרֵ֛ת . . . , tik·kā·rêṯ כִּ֤י because kî בָּזָ֔ה he has despised bā·zāh דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָה֙ of YHWH Yah·weh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הֵפַ֑ר broken hê·p̄ar מִצְוָת֖וֹ His commandment ; miṣ·wā·ṯōw עֲוֺנָ֥ה his guilt [remains] ‘ă·wō·nāh בָֽהּ׃פ on him . ” ḇāh Numbers 15:32 בְנֵֽי־ While the Israelites ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּהְי֥וּ were way·yih·yū בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר in the wilderness , bam·miḏ·bār אִ֛ישׁ a man ’îš וַֽיִּמְצְא֗וּ was found way·yim·ṣə·’ū מְקֹשֵׁ֥שׁ gathering mə·qō·šêš עֵצִ֖ים wood ‘ê·ṣîm הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃ on the Sabbath haš·šab·bāṯ בְּי֥וֹם day . bə·yō·wm Numbers 15:33 הַמֹּצְאִ֥ים Those who found ham·mō·ṣə·’îm אֹת֖וֹ [the man] ’ō·ṯōw מְקֹשֵׁ֣שׁ gathering mə·qō·šêš עֵצִ֑ים wood ‘ê·ṣîm וַיַּקְרִ֣יבוּ brought way·yaq·rî·ḇū אֹת֔וֹ him ’ō·ṯōw אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁה֙ Moses , mō·šeh וְאֶֽל־ . . . wə·’el- אַהֲרֹ֔ן Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn וְאֶ֖ל . . . wə·’el כָּל־ and the whole kāl- הָעֵדָֽה׃ congregation , hā·‘ê·ḏāh
