נִרְאָה֙ appeared nir·’āh אֶֽל־ to ’el- כָּל־ all kāl- בְּנֵ֖י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃פ . . . yiś·rā·’êl בְּאֹ֣הֶל at the Tent bə·’ō·hel מוֹעֵ֔ד of Meeting . mō·w·‘êḏ Numbers 14:11 יְהוָה֙ And YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses , mō·šeh עַד־ “ How long ‘aḏ- אָ֥נָה . . . ’ā·nāh הַזֶּ֑ה will this haz·zeh הָעָ֣ם people hā·‘ām יְנַאֲצֻ֖נִי treat Me with contempt ? yə·na·’ă·ṣu·nî וְעַד־ How long wə·‘aḏ- אָ֙נָה֙ . . . ’ā·nāh לֹא־ will they refuse lō- יַאֲמִ֣ינוּ to believe ya·’ă·mî·nū בִ֔י in Me , ḇî בְּכֹל֙ despite all bə·ḵōl הָֽאֹת֔וֹת the signs hā·’ō·ṯō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עָשִׂ֖יתִי I have performed ‘ā·śî·ṯî בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃ among them ? bə·qir·bōw Numbers 14:12 אַכֶּ֥נּוּ I will strike them ’ak·ken·nū בַדֶּ֖בֶר with a plague ḇad·de·ḇer וְאוֹרִשֶׁ֑נּוּ and destroy them — wə·’ō·w·ri·šen·nū וְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙ and I will make wə·’e·‘ĕ·śeh אֹֽתְךָ֔ you ’ō·ṯə·ḵā לְגוֹי־ into a nation lə·ḡō·w- גָּד֥וֹל greater gā·ḏō·wl וְעָצ֖וּם and mightier wə·‘ā·ṣūm מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ than they are . ” mim·men·nū Numbers 14:13 מֹשֶׁ֖ה But Moses mō·šeh וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh מִצְרַ֔יִם “ The Egyptians miṣ·ra·yim וְשָׁמְע֣וּ will hear wə·šā·mə·‘ū כִּֽי־ of it , kî- בְכֹחֲךָ֛ for by Your strength ḇə·ḵō·ḥă·ḵā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הֶעֱלִ֧יתָ You brought he·‘ĕ·lî·ṯā הַזֶּ֖ה this haz·zeh הָעָ֥ם people hā·‘ām מִקִּרְבּֽוֹ׃ from among them . miq·qir·bōw Numbers 14:14 וְאָמְר֗וּ And they will tell it wə·’ā·mə·rū אֶל־ to ’el- יוֹשֵׁב֮ the inhabitants yō·wō·šêḇ הַזֹּאת֒ of this haz·zōṯ הָאָ֣רֶץ land . hā·’ā·reṣ שָֽׁמְעוּ֙ They have already heard šā·mə·‘ū כִּֽי־ that kî- אַתָּ֣ה You , ’at·tāh יְהוָ֔ה O YHWH , Yah·weh בְּקֶ֖רֶב are in the midst bə·qe·reḇ הַזֶּ֑ה of this haz·zeh הָעָ֣ם people , hā·‘ām אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- אַתָּ֣ה You , ’at·tāh יְהוָ֗ה O YHWH , Yah·weh נִרְאָ֣ה׀ have been seen nir·’āh עַ֨יִן face ‘a·yin בְּעַ֜יִן to face , bə·‘a·yin וַעֲנָֽנְךָ֙ [that] Your cloud wa·‘ă·nā·nə·ḵā עֹמֵ֣ד stands ‘ō·mêḏ עֲלֵהֶ֔ם over them , ‘ă·lê·hem אַתָּ֨ה and [that] You ’at·tāh הֹלֵ֤ךְ go hō·lêḵ לִפְנֵיהֶם֙ before them lip̄·nê·hem וּבְעַמֻּ֣ד in a pillar ū·ḇə·‘am·muḏ עָנָ֗ן of cloud ‘ā·nān יוֹמָ֔ם by day yō·w·mām וּבְעַמּ֥וּד and a pillar ū·ḇə·‘am·mūḏ אֵ֖שׁ of fire ’êš לָֽיְלָה׃ by night . lā·yə·lāh Numbers 14:15 וְהֵמַתָּ֛ה If You kill wə·hê·mat·tāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֶּ֖ה this haz·zeh הָעָ֥ם people hā·‘ām אֶחָ֑ד as one ’e·ḥāḏ כְּאִ֣ישׁ man , kə·’îš הַגּוֹיִ֔ם the nations hag·gō·w·yim
