לֹֽא־ it is not lō- יִגָּאֵ֗ל redeemed yig·gā·’êl עַד־ by the end ‘aḏ- מְלֹ֣את . . . mə·lōṯ לוֹ֮ of lōw תְמִימָה֒ a full ṯə·mî·māh וְ֠קָם . . . wə·qām שָׁנָ֣ה year , šā·nāh הַבַּ֨יִת then the house hab·ba·yiṯ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- חֹמָ֗ה in the walled ḥō·māh בָּעִ֜יר city bā·‘îr אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- לֹא - lō לַצְּמִיתֻ֛ת is permanently laṣ·ṣə·mî·ṯuṯ לַקֹּנֶ֥ה transferred to its buyer laq·qō·neh אֹת֖וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw לְדֹרֹתָ֑יו and his descendants . lə·ḏō·rō·ṯāw לֹ֥א It is not lō יֵצֵ֖א to be released yê·ṣê בַּיֹּבֵֽל׃ in the Jubilee . bay·yō·ḇêl Leviticus 25:31 וּבָתֵּ֣י But houses ū·ḇāt·tê הַחֲצֵרִ֗ים in villages ha·ḥă·ṣê·rîm אֲשֶׁ֨ר with ’ă·šer אֵין־ no ’ên- לָהֶ֤ם . . . lā·hem חֹמָה֙ walls ḥō·māh סָבִ֔יב around them sā·ḇîḇ עַל־ . . . ‘al- יֵחָשֵׁ֑ב are to be considered yê·ḥā·šêḇ שְׂדֵ֥ה as open fields śə·ḏêh הָאָ֖רֶץ . . . . hā·’ā·reṣ גְּאֻלָּה֙ They may be redeemed , gə·’ul·lāh תִּהְיֶה־ and they shall be tih·yeh- לּ֔וֹ lōw יֵצֵֽא׃ released yê·ṣê וּבַיֹּבֵ֖ל in the Jubilee . ū·ḇay·yō·ḇêl Leviticus 25:32 וְעָרֵי֙ As for the cities wə·‘ā·rê הַלְוִיִּ֔ם of the Levites , hal·wî·yim לַלְוִיִּֽם׃ the Levites lal·wî·yim עוֹלָ֖ם always ‘ō·w·lām תִּהְיֶ֥ה have tih·yeh גְּאֻלַּ֥ת the right to redeem gə·’ul·laṯ בָּתֵּ֖י their houses bāt·tê עָרֵ֣י in the cities ‘ā·rê אֲחֻזָּתָ֑ם they possess . ’ă·ḥuz·zā·ṯām Leviticus 25:33 וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר So whatever wa·’ă·šer מִן־ belongs to min- הַלְוִיִּ֔ם the Levites hal·wî·yim יִגְאַל֙ may be redeemed — yiḡ·’al בַּ֛יִת a house ba·yiṯ מִמְכַּר־ sold mim·kar- וְעִ֥יר in a city wə·‘îr אֲחֻזָּת֖וֹ they possess — ’ă·ḥuz·zā·ṯōw וְיָצָ֧א and must be released wə·yā·ṣā בַּיֹּבֵ֑ל in the Jubilee , bay·yō·ḇêl כִּ֣י because kî בָתֵּ֞י the houses ḇāt·tê הִ֚וא . . . hî עָרֵ֣י in the cities ‘ā·rê הַלְוִיִּ֗ם of the Levites hal·wî·yim אֲחֻזָּתָ֔ם are their possession ’ă·ḥuz·zā·ṯām בְּת֖וֹךְ among bə·ṯō·wḵ בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ . . . . yiś·rā·’êl Leviticus 25:34 וּֽשְׂדֵ֛ה But the open ū·śə·ḏêh מִגְרַ֥שׁ pastureland miḡ·raš עָרֵיהֶ֖ם around their cities ‘ā·rê·hem לֹ֣א may not lō יִמָּכֵ֑ר be sold , yim·mā·ḵêr כִּֽי־ for kî- ה֖וּא this hū לָהֶֽם׃ס is their lā·hem עוֹלָ֛ם permanent ‘ō·w·lām אֲחֻזַּ֥ת possession . ’ă·ḥuz·zaṯ Leviticus 25:35 וְכִֽי־ Now if wə·ḵî- אָחִ֔יךָ your countryman ’ā·ḥî·ḵā יָמ֣וּךְ becomes destitute yā·mūḵ וּמָ֥טָה and cannot support himself ū·mā·ṭāh יָד֖וֹ . . . yā·ḏōw עִמָּ֑ךְ among you , ‘im·māḵ וְהֶֽחֱזַ֣קְתָּ then you are to help wə·he·ḥĕ·zaq·tā בּ֔וֹ him bōw גֵּ֧ר {as you would} a foreigner gêr וְתוֹשָׁ֛ב or stranger , wə·ṯō·wō·šāḇ
