Genesis 12:20 פַּרְעֹ֖ה Then Pharaoh par·‘ōh אֲנָשִׁ֑ים gave his men ’ă·nā·šîm וַיְצַ֥ו orders way·ṣaw עָלָ֛יו concerning [Abram] , ‘ā·lāw וַֽיְשַׁלְּח֥וּ and they sent him away way·šal·lə·ḥū אֹת֛וֹ . . . ’ō·ṯōw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ with his wife ’iš·tōw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ and all his possessions kāl- אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- לֽוֹ׃ . lōw Genesis 13:1 אַבְרָ֨ם So Abram ’aḇ·rām וַיַּעַל֩ went up way·ya·‘al מִמִּצְרַ֜יִם out of Egypt mim·miṣ·ra·yim הַנֶּֽגְבָּה׃ into the Negev — han·neḡ·bāh ה֠וּא he hū וְאִשְׁתּ֧וֹ and his wife wə·’iš·tōw וְכָל־ and all his possessions wə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁר־ . . . ’ă·šer- ל֛וֹ . . . — lōw וְל֥וֹט and Lot [was] wə·lō·wṭ עִמּ֖וֹ with him . ‘im·mōw Genesis 13:2 וְאַבְרָ֖ם And Abram wə·’aḇ·rām מְאֹ֑ד had become extremely mə·’ōḏ כָּבֵ֣ד wealthy kā·ḇêḏ בַּמִּקְנֶ֕ה in livestock bam·miq·neh בַּכֶּ֖סֶף and silver bak·ke·sep̄ וּבַזָּהָֽב׃ and gold . ū·ḇaz·zā·hāḇ Genesis 13:3 מִנֶּ֖גֶב From the Negev min·ne·ḡeḇ וַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ he journeyed way·yê·leḵ לְמַסָּעָ֔יו from place to place lə·mas·sā·‘āw בֵּֽית־ toward bêṯ- אֵ֑ל Bethel , ’êl וְעַד־ until he came wə·‘aḏ- עַד־ to ‘aḏ- הַמָּק֗וֹם the place ham·mā·qō·wm בֵּ֥ין between bên בֵּֽית־ Bethel bêṯ- אֵ֖ל . . . ’êl וּבֵ֥ין and ū·ḇên הָעָֽי׃ Ai hā·‘āy אֲשֶׁר־ where ’ă·šer- אָהֳלֹה his tent ʾå̄·ho·lōh בַּתְּחִלָּ֔ה had formerly bat·tə·ḥil·lāh הָ֨יָה been pitched hā·yāh שָׁ֤ם . . . , šām Genesis 13:4 אֶל־ to ’el- מְקוֹם֙ the site mə·qō·wm אֲשֶׁר־ where ’ă·šer- עָ֥שָׂה he had built ‘ā·śāh בָּרִאשֹׁנָ֑ה . . . bā·ri·šō·nāh הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ the altar . ham·miz·bê·aḥ שָׁ֖ם And there šām אַבְרָ֖ם Abram ’aḇ·rām וַיִּקְרָ֥א called way·yiq·rā שָׁ֛ם . . . šām בְּשֵׁ֥ם on the name bə·šêm יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . Yah·weh Genesis 13:5 לְל֔וֹט Now Lot , lə·lō·wṭ הַהֹלֵ֖ךְ who was traveling ha·hō·lêḵ אֶת־ with ’eṯ- אַבְרָ֑ם Abram , ’aḇ·rām וְגַם־ also wə·ḡam- הָיָ֥ה had hā·yāh צֹאן־ flocks ṣōn- וּבָקָ֖ר and herds ū·ḇā·qār וְאֹהָלִֽים׃ and tents . wə·’ō·hā·lîm Genesis 13:6 הָאָ֖רֶץ But the land hā·’ā·reṣ וְלֹא־ was unable wə·lō- נָשָׂ֥א to support nā·śā אֹתָ֛ם [both of] them ’ō·ṯām לָשֶׁ֣בֶת while they stayed lā·še·ḇeṯ יַחְדָּ֑ו together , yaḥ·dāw כִּֽי־ for kî- הָיָ֤ה they had hā·yāh רָ֔ב so many rāḇ רְכוּשָׁם֙ possessions rə·ḵū·šām יָֽכְל֖וּ that they were unable yā·ḵə·lū
