הַכֹּהֵן֒ the priest , hak·kō·hên וְקָמַ֣ץ who shall take wə·qā·maṣ הַכֹּהֵ֣ן׀ . . . hak·kō·hên מְל֨וֹא a handful mə·lō·w קֻמְצ֜וֹ . . . qum·ṣōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִ֠מֶּנָּה from it mim·men·nāh אַזְכָּרָתָה֙ as a memorial portion ’az·kā·rā·ṯāh וְהִקְטִ֣יר and burn [it] wə·hiq·ṭîr הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה on the altar ham·miz·bê·ḥāh עַ֖ל atop ‘al אִשֵּׁ֣י the offerings made by fire ’iš·šê יְהוָ֑ה to YHWH ; Yah·weh הִֽוא׃ it hî חַטָּ֖את is a sin offering . ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ Leviticus 5:13 הַכֹּהֵ֜ן In this way the priest hak·kō·hên וְכִפֶּר֩ will make atonement wə·ḵip·per עָלָ֨יו for him ‘ā·lāw עַל־ for ‘al- מֵֽאַחַ֥ת any mê·’a·ḥaṯ מֵאֵ֖לֶּה of these mê·’êl·leh חַטָּאת֧וֹ sins ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- חָטָ֛א he has committed , ḥā·ṭā וְנִסְלַ֣ח and he will be forgiven wə·nis·laḥ ל֑וֹ . lōw וְהָיְתָ֥ה The remainder will belong to wə·hā·yə·ṯāh לַכֹּהֵ֖ן the priest , lak·kō·hên כַּמִּנְחָֽה׃ס like the grain offering . ” kam·min·ḥāh Leviticus 5:14 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Leviticus 5:15 כִּֽי־ “ If kî- נֶ֚פֶשׁ someone ne·p̄eš תִמְעֹ֣ל acts ṯim·‘ōl מַ֔עַל unfaithfully ma·‘al וְחָֽטְאָה֙ and sins wə·ḥā·ṭə·’āh בִּשְׁגָגָ֔ה unintentionally against biš·ḡā·ḡāh יְהוָ֑ה any of YHWH’s Yah·weh מִקָּדְשֵׁ֖י holy things , miq·qā·ḏə·šê וְהֵבִיא֩ he must bring wə·hê·ḇî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲשָׁמ֨וֹ his guilt offering ’ă·šā·mōw לַֽיהוָ֜ה to YHWH : Yah·weh תָּמִ֣ים an unblemished tā·mîm אַ֧יִל ram ’a·yil מִן־ from min- הַצֹּ֗אן the flock , haṣ·ṣōn בְּעֶרְכְּךָ֛ of proper value bə·‘er·kə·ḵā כֶּֽסֶף־ in silver ke·sep̄- שְׁקָלִ֥ים shekels šə·qā·lîm הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ according to the sanctuary haq·qō·ḏeš בְּשֶֽׁקֶל־ shekel ; bə·še·qel- לְאָשָֽׁם׃ it is a guilt offering . lə·’ā·šām Leviticus 5:16 הַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ Regarding any holy thing haq·qō·ḏeš חָטָ֨א he has harmed ḥā·ṭā מִן־ . . . , min- וְאֵ֣ת - wə·’êṯ אֲשֶׁר֩ - ’ă·šer יְשַׁלֵּ֗ם he must make restitution yə·šal·lêm וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- יוֹסֵ֣ף by adding yō·w·sêp̄ חֲמִֽישִׁתוֹ֙ a fifth ḥă·mî·ši·ṯōw עָלָ֔יו of its value to it ‘ā·lāw וְנָתַ֥ן and giving wə·nā·ṯan אֹת֖וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw לַכֹּהֵ֑ן it to the priest , lak·kō·hên וְהַכֹּהֵ֗ן [who] wə·hak·kō·hên יְכַפֵּ֥ר will make atonement yə·ḵap·pêr עָלָ֛יו on his behalf ‘ā·lāw בְּאֵ֥יל with the ram bə·’êl הָאָשָׁ֖ם as a guilt offering , hā·’ā·šām וְנִסְלַ֥ח and he will be forgiven wə·nis·laḥ לֽוֹ׃פ . lōw Leviticus 5:17 וְאִם־ If wə·’im- נֶ֙פֶשׁ֙ someone ne·p̄eš כִּ֣י . . . kî תֶֽחֱטָ֔א sins ṯe·ḥĕ·ṭā וְעָֽשְׂתָ֗ה and violates wə·‘ā·śə·ṯāh אַחַת֙ any ’a·ḥaṯ מִכָּל־ . . . mik·kāl יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH’s Yah·weh מִצְוֺ֣ת commandments miṣ·wōṯ
