שְׁתֵּ֥י two šə·tê תֹרִ֛ים turtledoves ṯō·rîm אֽוֹ־ or ’ōw- שְׁנֵ֥י two šə·nê בְנֵֽי־ young ḇə·nê- יוֹנָ֖ה pigeons — yō·w·nāh אֶחָ֥ד one ’e·ḥāḏ לְחַטָּ֖את as a sin offering lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ וְאֶחָ֥ד and the other wə·’e·ḥāḏ לְעֹלָֽה׃ as a burnt offering . lə·‘ō·lāh Leviticus 5:8 וְהֵבִ֤יא He is to bring wə·hê·ḇî אֹתָם֙ them ’ō·ṯām אֶל־ to ’el- הַכֹּהֵ֔ן the priest , hak·kō·hên רִאשׁוֹנָ֑ה who shall first ri·šō·w·nāh וְהִקְרִ֛יב present wə·hiq·rîḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲשֶׁ֥ר the one ’ă·šer לַחַטָּ֖את for the sin offering . la·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ וּמָלַ֧ק He is to twist ū·mā·laq אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רֹאשׁ֛וֹ its head rō·šōw מִמּ֥וּל at the front mim·mūl עָרְפּ֖וֹ of its neck ‘ā·rə·pōw וְלֹ֥א without wə·lō יַבְדִּֽיל׃ severing it ; yaḇ·dîl Leviticus 5:9 וְהִזָּ֞ה then he is to sprinkle wə·hiz·zāh מִדַּ֤ם some of the blood mid·dam הַחַטָּאת֙ of the sin offering ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ עַל־ on ‘al- קִ֣יר the side qîr הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ of the altar , ham·miz·bê·aḥ וְהַנִּשְׁאָ֣ר while the rest wə·han·niš·’ār בַּדָּ֔ם of the blood bad·dām יִמָּצֵ֖ה is drained out yim·mā·ṣêh אֶל־ at ’el- יְס֣וֹד the base yə·sō·wḏ הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ of the altar . ham·miz·bê·aḥ הֽוּא׃ It [is] hū חַטָּ֖את a sin offering . ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ Leviticus 5:10 וְאֶת־ And wə·’eṯ- יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה [the priest] must prepare ya·‘ă·śeh הַשֵּׁנִ֛י the second [bird] haš·šê·nî עֹלָ֖ה as a burnt offering ‘ō·lāh כַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט according to the ordinance . kam·miš·pāṭ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן In this way the priest hak·kō·hên וְכִפֶּ֨ר will make atonement wə·ḵip·per עָלָ֧יו for him ‘ā·lāw מֵחַטָּאת֥וֹ for the sin mê·ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- חָטָ֖א he has committed , ḥā·ṭā וְנִסְלַ֥ח and he will be forgiven wə·nis·laḥ לֽוֹ׃ס . lōw Leviticus 5:11 וְאִם־ But if wə·’im- לֹא֩ he cannot lō תַשִּׂ֨יג afford ṯaś·śîḡ יָד֜וֹ . . . yā·ḏōw לִשְׁתֵּ֣י two liš·tê תֹרִ֗ים turtledoves ṯō·rîm אוֹ֮ or ’ōw לִשְׁנֵ֣י two liš·nê בְנֵי־ young ḇə·nê- יוֹנָה֒ pigeons , yō·w·nāh וְהֵבִ֨יא he may bring wə·hê·ḇî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- קָרְבָּנ֜וֹ - qā·rə·bā·nōw אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer חָטָ֗א - ḥā·ṭā עֲשִׂירִ֧ת a tenth ‘ă·śî·riṯ הָאֵפָ֛ה of an ephah hā·’ê·p̄āh סֹ֖לֶת of fine flour sō·leṯ לְחַטָּ֑את as a sin offering . lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ לֹא־ He must not lō- יָשִׂ֨ים put yā·śîm שֶׁ֗מֶן olive oil še·men וְלֹא־ . . . wə·lō- יִתֵּ֤ן . . . yit·tên עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ . . . ‘ā·le·hā לְבֹנָ֔ה or frankincense lə·ḇō·nāh עָלֶ֜יהָ on it , ‘ā·le·hā כִּ֥י because kî הִֽיא׃ it hî חַטָּ֖את [is] a sin offering . ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ Leviticus 5:12 וֶהֱבִיאָהּ֮ He is to bring we·hĕ·ḇî·’āh אֶל־ it to ’el-
