יָד֔וֹ his hand yā·ḏōw עַ֖ל on ‘al רֹ֣אשׁ the head rōš הַֽחַטָּ֑את of the sin offering ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ וְשָׁחַ֤ט and slaughter wə·šā·ḥaṭ אֹתָהּ֙ it ’ō·ṯāh לְחַטָּ֔את as a sin offering lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ בִּמְק֕וֹם at the place bim·qō·wm אֲשֶׁ֥ר where ’ă·šer הָעֹלָֽה׃ the burnt offering hā·‘ō·lāh יִשְׁחַ֖ט is slaughtered . yiš·ḥaṭ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- Leviticus 4:34 הַכֹּהֵ֜ן Then the priest hak·kō·hên וְלָקַ֨ח is to take wə·lā·qaḥ מִדַּ֤ם some of the blood mid·dam הַֽחַטָּאת֙ of the sin offering ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ with his finger , bə·’eṣ·bā·‘ōw וְנָתַ֕ן put it wə·nā·ṯan עַל־ on ‘al- קַרְנֹ֖ת the horns qar·nōṯ מִזְבַּ֣ח of the altar miz·baḥ הָעֹלָ֑ה of burnt offering , hā·‘ō·lāh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- יִשְׁפֹּ֔ךְ pour out yiš·pōḵ כָּל־ the rest kāl- דָּמָ֣הּ of its blood dā·māh אֶל־ at ’el- יְס֖וֹד the base yə·sō·wḏ הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ of the altar . ham·miz·bê·aḥ Leviticus 4:35 וְאֶת־ And wə·’eṯ- יָסִ֗יר he shall remove yā·sîr כָּל־ all kāl- חֶלְבָּ֣ה the fat , ḥel·bāh כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר just as ka·’ă·šer חֵֽלֶב־ the fat ḥê·leḇ- הַכֶּשֶׂב֮ of the lamb hak·ke·śeḇ יוּסַ֥ר is removed yū·sar מִזֶּ֣בַח vvv miz·ze·ḇaḥ הַשְּׁלָמִים֒ from the peace offerings , haš·šə·lā·mîm הַכֹּהֵ֤ן and [he] hak·kō·hên אֹתָם֙ - ’ō·ṯām וְהִקְטִ֨יר shall burn wə·hiq·ṭîr הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה it on the altar ham·miz·bê·ḥāh עַ֖ל along with ‘al אִשֵּׁ֣י the offerings made by fire ’iš·šê יְהוָ֑ה to YHWH . Yah·weh הַכֹּהֵ֛ן In this way the priest hak·kō·hên וְכִפֶּ֨ר will make atonement wə·ḵip·per עָלָ֧יו for him ‘ā·lāw עַל־ for ‘al- חַטָּאת֥וֹ the sin ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- חָטָ֖א he has committed , ḥā·ṭā וְנִסְלַ֥ח and he will be forgiven wə·nis·laḥ לֽוֹ׃פ . [’’] lōw Leviticus 5:1 כִּֽי־ [“] If kî- וְנֶ֣פֶשׁ someone wə·ne·p̄eš תֶחֱטָ֗א sins ṯe·ḥĕ·ṭā ל֥וֹא by failing lō·w יַגִּ֖יד to testify yag·gîḏ וְשָֽׁמְעָה֙ when he hears wə·šā·mə·‘āh ק֣וֹל a public qō·wl אָלָ֔ה charge ’ā·lāh וְה֣וּא about something he wə·hū עֵ֔ד has witnessed , ‘êḏ א֥וֹ whether ’ōw רָאָ֖ה he has seen it rā·’āh א֣וֹ or ’ōw יָדָ֑ע learned of it yā·ḏā‘ אִם־ . . . , ’im- וְנָשָׂ֥א he shall bear wə·nā·śā עֲוֺנֽוֹ׃ the iniquity . ‘ă·wō·nōw Leviticus 5:2 א֣וֹ Or ’ōw נֶ֗פֶשׁ if a person ne·p̄eš אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer תִּגַּע֮ touches tig·ga‘ בְּכָל־ anything bə·ḵāl דָּבָ֣ר . . . dā·ḇār טָמֵא֒ unclean — ṭā·mê אוֹ֩ - ’ōw בְנִבְלַ֨ת whether the carcass ḇə·niḇ·laṯ טְמֵאָ֗ה of [any] unclean ṭə·mê·’āh חַיָּ֜ה wild animal ḥay·yāh טְמֵאָ֔ה - ṭə·mê·’āh א֕וֹ or ’ōw בְּנִבְלַ֖ת . . . bə·niḇ·laṯ בְּהֵמָ֣ה livestock bə·hê·māh א֤וֹ or ’ōw
