Leviticus 4:22 אֲשֶׁ֥ר When ’ă·šer נָשִׂ֖יא a leader nā·śî יֶֽחֱטָ֑א sins ye·ḥĕ·ṭā בִּשְׁגָגָ֖ה unintentionally biš·ḡā·ḡāh וְעָשָׂ֡ה and does wə·‘ā·śāh אֲשֶׁ֧ר what ’ă·šer לֹא־ is prohibited lō- אַחַ֣ת by any ’a·ḥaṯ מִכָּל־ of mik·kāl מִצְוֺת֩ the commandments miṣ·wōṯ יְהוָ֨ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָ֜יו his God ’ĕ·lō·hāw תֵעָשֶׂ֛ינָה . . . , ṯê·‘ā·śe·nāh וְאָשֵֽׁם׃ he incurs guilt . wə·’ā·šêm Leviticus 4:23 אֽוֹ־ - ’ōw- הוֹדַ֤ע When he becomes aware hō·w·ḏa‘ אֵלָיו֙ . . . ’ê·lāw חַטָּאת֔וֹ of the sin ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer חָטָ֖א he has committed ḥā·ṭā בָּ֑הּ , bāh וְהֵבִ֧יא he must bring wə·hê·ḇî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תָּמִֽים׃ an unblemished tā·mîm שְׂעִ֥יר male goat śə·‘îr עִזִּ֖ים . . . ‘iz·zîm זָכָ֥ר . . . zā·ḵār קָרְבָּנ֛וֹ as his offering . qā·rə·bā·nōw Leviticus 4:24 וְסָמַ֤ךְ He is to lay wə·sā·maḵ יָדוֹ֙ his hand yā·ḏōw עַל־ on ‘al- רֹ֣אשׁ the head rōš הַשָּׂעִ֔יר of the goat haś·śā·‘îr וְשָׁחַ֣ט and slaughter wə·šā·ḥaṭ אֹת֔וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw בִּמְק֛וֹם it at the place bim·qō·wm אֲשֶׁר־ where ’ă·šer- הָעֹלָ֖ה the burnt offering hā·‘ō·lāh יִשְׁחַ֥ט is slaughtered yiš·ḥaṭ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh הֽוּא׃ It hū חַטָּ֖את is a sin offering . ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ Leviticus 4:25 הַכֹּהֵ֜ן Then the priest hak·kō·hên וְלָקַ֨ח is to take wə·lā·qaḥ מִדַּ֤ם some of the blood mid·dam הַֽחַטָּאת֙ of the sin offering ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ with his finger , bə·’eṣ·bā·‘ōw וְנָתַ֕ן put it wə·nā·ṯan עַל־ on ‘al- קַרְנֹ֖ת the horns qar·nōṯ מִזְבַּ֣ח of the altar miz·baḥ הָעֹלָ֑ה of burnt offering , hā·‘ō·lāh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- יִשְׁפֹּ֔ךְ pour out yiš·pōḵ דָּמ֣וֹ the rest of the blood dā·mōw אֶל־ at ’el- יְס֖וֹד the base yə·sō·wḏ מִזְבַּ֥ח of the altar miz·baḥ הָעֹלָֽה׃ - . hā·‘ō·lāh Leviticus 4:26 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- יַקְטִ֣יר He must burn yaq·ṭîr כָּל־ all kāl- חֶלְבּוֹ֙ its fat ḥel·bōw הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה on the altar , ham·miz·bê·ḥāh כְּחֵ֖לֶב like the fat kə·ḥê·leḇ זֶ֣בַח vvv ze·ḇaḥ הַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים of the peace offerings ; haš·šə·lā·mîm הַכֹּהֵ֛ן thus the priest hak·kō·hên וְכִפֶּ֨ר will make atonement wə·ḵip·per עָלָ֧יו for ‘ā·lāw מֵחַטָּאת֖וֹ that man’s sin , mê·ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw וְנִסְלַ֥ח and he will be forgiven wə·nis·laḥ לֽוֹ׃פ . lōw Leviticus 4:27 וְאִם־ And if wə·’im- נֶ֧פֶשׁ one ne·p̄eš אַחַ֛ת . . . ’a·ḥaṯ הָאָ֑רֶץ of the common hā·’ā·reṣ מֵעַ֣ם people mê·‘am תֶּחֱטָ֥א sins te·ḥĕ·ṭā בִשְׁגָגָ֖ה unintentionally ḇiš·ḡā·ḡāh
