א֤וֹ or ’ōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָעֹ֙שֶׁק֙ - hā·‘ō·šeq אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עָשָׁ֔ק taken by extortion , ‘ā·šāq א֚וֹ or ’ōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַפִּקָּד֔וֹן the deposit hap·piq·qā·ḏō·wn אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer הָפְקַ֖ד entrusted hā·p̄ə·qaḏ אִתּ֑וֹ to him , ’it·tōw א֥וֹ or ’ōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֲבֵדָ֖ה the lost property hā·’ă·ḇê·ḏāh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer מָצָֽא׃ he found , mā·ṣā Leviticus 6:5 א֠וֹ or ’ōw מִכֹּ֞ל anything else mik·kōl עָלָיו֮ about ‘ā·lāw אֲשֶׁר־ which ’ă·šer- יִשָּׁבַ֣ע he has sworn yiš·šā·ḇa‘ לַשֶּׁקֶר֒ falsely . laš·še·qer בְּרֹאשׁ֔וֹ He must make bə·rō·šōw וְשִׁלַּ֤ם restitution in full wə·šil·lam אֹתוֹ֙ - , ’ō·ṯōw יֹסֵ֣ף add yō·sêp̄ וַחֲמִשִׁתָ֖יו a fifth wa·ḥă·mi·ši·ṯāw עָלָ֑יו of the value , ‘ā·lāw יִתְּנֶ֖נּוּ and pay it yit·tə·nen·nū לַאֲשֶׁ֨ר to the owner la·’ă·šer ה֥וּא . . . hū ל֛וֹ . . . lōw בְּי֥וֹם on the day bə·yō·wm אַשְׁמָתֽוֹ׃ [he acknowledges] his guilt . ’aš·mā·ṯōw Leviticus 6:6 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- יָבִ֖יא Then he must bring yā·ḇî אֶל־ to ’el- הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ the priest hak·kō·hên אֲשָׁמ֥וֹ his guilt offering ’ă·šā·mōw לַיהוָ֑ה to YHWH : Yah·weh תָּמִ֧ים an unblemished tā·mîm אַ֣יִל ram ’a·yil בְּעֶרְכְּךָ֥ of proper value bə·‘er·kə·ḵā מִן־ from min- הַצֹּ֛אן the flock haṣ·ṣōn לְאָשָׁ֖ם - . lə·’ā·šām Leviticus 6:7 הַכֹּהֵ֛ן In this way the priest hak·kō·hên וְכִפֶּ֨ר will make atonement wə·ḵip·per עָלָ֧יו for him ‘ā·lāw לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh וְנִסְלַ֣ח and he will be forgiven wə·nis·laḥ ל֑וֹ lōw עַל־ for ‘al- אַחַ֛ת anything ’a·ḥaṯ מִכֹּ֥ל . . . mik·kōl אֲשֶֽׁר־ - ’ă·šer- יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה he may have done ya·‘ă·śeh לְאַשְׁמָ֥ה to incur guilt lə·’aš·māh בָֽהּ׃פ . ” ḇāh Leviticus 6:8 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr Leviticus 6:9 צַ֤ו “ Command ṣaw אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- אַהֲרֹן֙ Aaron ’a·hă·rōn וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בָּנָ֣יו and his sons bā·nāw לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr זֹ֥את [that] this zōṯ תּוֹרַ֖ת is the law tō·w·raṯ הָעֹלָ֑ה of the burnt offering : hā·‘ō·lāh הָעֹלָ֡ה The burnt offering hā·‘ō·lāh הִ֣וא . . . hî עַל֩ is to remain ‘al עַל־ on ‘al- מוֹקְדָ֨ה the hearth mō·wq·ḏāh הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַ of the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ כָּל־ all kāl- הַלַּ֙יְלָה֙ night , hal·lay·lāh עַד־ until ‘aḏ- הַבֹּ֔קֶר morning , hab·bō·qer וְאֵ֥שׁ and the fire wə·’êš
