וְרָאָ֤ה saw wə·rā·’āh עַמּ֣וּד the pillar ‘am·mūḏ הֶֽעָנָ֔ן of cloud he·‘ā·nān עֹמֵ֖ד standing ‘ō·mêḏ פֶּ֣תַח at the entrance pe·ṯaḥ הָאֹ֑הֶל to the tent , hā·’ō·hel כָּל־ they kāl- הָעָם֙ . . . hā·‘ām וְקָ֤ם would stand up wə·qām וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוּ֔וּ and worship , wə·hiš·ta·ḥăw·wū אִ֖ישׁ each one ’îš פֶּ֥תַח at the entrance pe·ṯaḥ אָהֳלֽוֹ׃ to his [own] tent . ’ā·ho·lōw Exodus 33:11 יְהוָ֤ה Thus YHWH Yah·weh וְדִבֶּ֨ר would speak wə·ḏib·ber אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁה֙ Moses mō·šeh פָּנִ֣ים face pā·nîm אֶל־ to ’el- פָּנִ֔ים face , pā·nîm כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer אִ֖ישׁ a man ’îš יְדַבֵּ֥ר speaks yə·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- רֵעֵ֑הוּ his friend . rê·‘ê·hū וְשָׁב֙ Then Moses would return wə·šāḇ אֶל־ to ’el- הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה the camp , ham·ma·ḥă·neh נַ֔עַר but his young na·‘ar וּמְשָׁ֨רְת֜וֹ assistant ū·mə·šā·rə·ṯōw יְהוֹשֻׁ֤עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ בִּן־ son bin- נוּן֙ of Nun nūn לֹ֥א would not lō יָמִ֖ישׁ leave yā·mîš מִתּ֥וֹךְ vvv mit·tō·wḵ הָאֹֽהֶל׃ס the tent . hā·’ō·hel Exodus 33:12 מֹשֶׁ֜ה Then Moses mō·šeh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָ֗ה YHWH , Yah·weh רְ֠אֵה “ Look , rə·’êh אַתָּ֞ה You ’at·tāh אֹמֵ֤ר have been telling me , ’ō·mêr אֵלַי֙ . . . ’ê·lay הַ֚עַל ‘ Lead ha·‘al הַזֶּ֔ה this haz·zeh הָעָ֣ם people up , ’ hā·‘ām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְאַתָּה֙ but You wə·’at·tāh לֹ֣א have not lō הֽוֹדַעְתַּ֔נִי let me know hō·w·ḏa‘·ta·nî אֵ֥ת - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁר־ whom ’ă·šer- תִּשְׁלַ֖ח You will send tiš·laḥ עִמִּ֑י with me . ‘im·mî וְאַתָּ֤ה Yet You wə·’at·tāh אָמַ֙רְתָּ֙ have said , ’ā·mar·tā יְדַעְתִּ֣יךָֽ ‘ I know yə·ḏa‘·tî·ḵā בְשֵׁ֔ם you by name , ḇə·šêm וְגַם־ and you have wə·ḡam- מָצָ֥אתָ found mā·ṣā·ṯā חֵ֖ן favor ḥên בְּעֵינָֽי׃ in My sight . ’ bə·‘ê·nāy Exodus 33:13 וְעַתָּ֡ה Now wə·‘at·tāh אִם־ if ’im- נָא֩ indeed nā מָצָ֨אתִי I have found mā·ṣā·ṯî חֵ֜ן favor ḥên בְּעֵינֶ֗יךָ in Your sight , bə·‘ê·ne·ḵā נָא֙ please nā הוֹדִעֵ֤נִי let me know hō·w·ḏi·‘ê·nî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דְּרָכֶ֔ךָ Your ways , də·rā·ḵe·ḵā וְאֵדָ֣עֲךָ֔ that I may know You wə·’ê·ḏā·‘ă·ḵā לְמַ֥עַן . . . lə·ma·‘an אֶמְצָא־ and find ’em·ṣā- חֵ֖ן favor ḥên בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ in Your sight . bə·‘ê·ne·ḵā וּרְאֵ֕ה Remember ū·rə·’êh כִּ֥י that kî הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַגּ֥וֹי nation hag·gō·w עַמְּךָ֖ is Your people . ” ‘am·mə·ḵā Exodus 33:14 וַיֹּאמַ֑ר And [YHWH] answered , way·yō·mar פָּנַ֥י “ My Presence pā·nay יֵלֵ֖כוּ will go [with you] , yê·lê·ḵū וַהֲנִחֹ֥תִי and I will give you rest wa·hă·ni·ḥō·ṯî
