Exodus 28:38 וְהָיָה֮ And it will be [worn] wə·hā·yāh עַל־ on ‘al- אַהֲרֹן֒ Aaron’s ’a·hă·rōn מֵ֣צַח forehead , mê·ṣaḥ אַהֲרֹ֜ן so that [he] ’a·hă·rōn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְנָשָׂ֨א may bear wə·nā·śā עֲוֺ֣ן the iniquity ‘ă·wōn הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים of the holy things haq·qo·ḏā·šîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ’ă·šer בְּנֵ֣י the sons bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יַקְדִּ֙ישׁוּ֙ consecrate yaq·dî·šū לְכָֽל־ with regard to all lə·ḵāl קָדְשֵׁיהֶ֑ם their holy qā·ḏə·šê·hem מַתְּנֹ֖ת gifts . mat·tə·nōṯ תָּמִ֔יד It shall always tā·mîḏ וְהָיָ֤ה be wə·hā·yāh עַל־ on ‘al- מִצְחוֹ֙ his forehead , miṣ·ḥōw לְרָצ֥וֹן so that they may be acceptable lə·rā·ṣō·wn לָהֶ֖ם lā·hem לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Exodus 28:39 וְשִׁבַּצְתָּ֙ You are to weave wə·šib·baṣ·tā הַכְּתֹ֣נֶת the tunic hak·kə·ṯō·neṯ שֵׁ֔שׁ with fine linen , šêš וְעָשִׂ֖יתָ make wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā מִצְנֶ֣פֶת the turban miṣ·ne·p̄eṯ שֵׁ֑שׁ of fine linen , šêš תַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה and fashion ta·‘ă·śeh מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה . . . ma·‘ă·śêh רֹקֵֽם׃ an embroidered rō·qêm וְאַבְנֵ֥ט sash . wə·’aḇ·nêṭ Exodus 28:40 תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה Make ta·‘ă·śeh כֻתֳּנֹ֔ת tunics , ḵut·to·nōṯ אַבְנֵטִ֑ים sashes , ’aḇ·nê·ṭîm וּמִגְבָּעוֹת֙ and headbands ū·miḡ·bā·‘ō·wṯ תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה . . . ta·‘ă·śeh לָהֶ֔ם lā·hem אַהֲרֹן֙ for Aaron’s ’a·hă·rōn וְלִבְנֵ֤י sons , wə·liḇ·nê וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ to give wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā לָהֶ֖ם them lā·hem לְכָב֖וֹד glory lə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ וּלְתִפְאָֽרֶת׃ and splendor . ū·lə·ṯip̄·’ā·reṯ Exodus 28:41 וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֤ After you put wə·hil·baš·tā אֹתָם֙ [these garments] ’ō·ṯām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָחִ֔יךָ on your brother ’ā·ḥî·ḵā וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אַהֲרֹ֣ן Aaron ’a·hă·rōn בָּנָ֖יו and his sons , bā·nāw אִתּ֑וֹ . . . ’it·tōw וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֨ anoint ū·mā·šaḥ·tā אֹתָ֜ם them , ’ō·ṯām וּמִלֵּאתָ֧ ordain ū·mil·lê·ṯā אֶת־ them ’eṯ- יָדָ֛ם . . . , yā·ḏām וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ and consecrate wə·qid·daš·tā אֹתָ֖ם them ’ō·ṯām וְכִהֲנ֥וּ so that they may serve Me as priests wə·ḵi·hă·nū לִֽי׃ . lî Exodus 28:42 וַעֲשֵׂ֤ה Make wa·‘ă·śêh בָ֔ד linen ḇāḏ מִכְנְסֵי־ undergarments miḵ·nə·sê- לְכַסּ֖וֹת to cover lə·ḵas·sō·wṯ לָהֶם֙ their lā·hem עֶרְוָ֑ה bare ‘er·wāh בְּשַׂ֣ר flesh , bə·śar יִהְיֽוּ׃ extending yih·yū מִמָּתְנַ֥יִם from waist mim·mā·ṯə·na·yim וְעַד־ to wə·‘aḏ- יְרֵכַ֖יִם thigh . yə·rê·ḵa·yim Exodus 28:43 אַהֲרֹ֨ן Aaron ’a·hă·rōn וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- בָּנָ֜יו and his sons bā·nāw וְהָיוּ֩ must wear them wə·hā·yū עַל־ . . . ‘al- בְּבֹאָ֣ם׀ whenever they enter bə·ḇō·’ām אֶל־ . . . ’el- אֹ֣הֶל the Tent ’ō·hel מוֹעֵ֗ד of Meeting mō·w·‘êḏ א֣וֹ or ’ōw
