אֶל־ next to ’el- הָאֵפֹ֖ד the ephod . hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ Exodus 28:27 וְעָשִׂיתָ֮ Make wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā שְׁתֵּ֣י two [additional] šə·tê זָהָב֒ gold zā·hāḇ טַבְּע֣וֹת rings ṭab·bə·‘ō·wṯ וְנָתַתָּ֣ה and attach wə·nā·ṯat·tāh אֹתָ֡ם them ’ō·ṯām עַל־ to ‘al- מִלְּמַ֙טָּה֙ the bottom mil·lə·maṭ·ṭāh שְׁתֵּי֩ of the two šə·tê כִתְפ֨וֹת shoulder pieces ḵiṯ·p̄ō·wṯ הָאֵפ֤וֹד of the ephod , hā·’ê·p̄ō·wḏ מִמּ֣וּל on its front mim·mūl פָּנָ֔יו . . . , pā·nāw לְעֻמַּ֖ת near lə·‘um·maṯ מֶחְבַּרְתּ֑וֹ its seam meḥ·bar·tōw מִמַּ֕עַל just above mim·ma·‘al לְחֵ֖שֶׁב its woven waistband lə·ḥê·šeḇ הָאֵפֽוֹד׃ . . . . hā·’ê·p̄ō·wḏ Exodus 28:28 מִטַּבְּעֹתוֹ The rings miṭ·ṭab·bə·ʿō·ṯō הַ֠חֹשֶׁן of the breastpiece ha·ḥō·šen וְיִרְכְּס֣וּ shall be tied wə·yir·kə·sū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֶל־ to ’el- טַבְּעֹ֤ת the rings ṭab·bə·‘ōṯ הָאֵפֹד֙ of the ephod hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ בִּפְתִ֣יל with a cord bip̄·ṯîl תְּכֵ֔לֶת of blue yarn , tə·ḵê·leṯ הַחֹ֔שֶׁן so that the breastpiece ha·ḥō·šen לִֽהְי֖וֹת is lih·yō·wṯ עַל־ above ‘al- חֵ֣שֶׁב the waistband ḥê·šeḇ הָאֵפ֑וֹד of the ephod hā·’ê·p̄ō·wḏ וְלֹֽא־ and does not wə·lō- יִזַּ֣ח swing out yiz·zaḥ מֵעַ֖ל from mê·‘al הָאֵפֽוֹד׃ the ephod . hā·’ê·p̄ō·wḏ Exodus 28:29 בְּבֹא֣וֹ Whenever [Aaron] enters bə·ḇō·’ōw אֶל־ . . . ’el- הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ the Holy [Place] , haq·qō·ḏeš אַ֠הֲרֹן [he] ’a·hă·rōn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְנָשָׂ֣א shall bear wə·nā·śā שְׁמ֨וֹת the names šə·mō·wṯ בְּנֵֽי־ of the sons bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl עַל־ over ‘al- לִבּ֖וֹ his heart lib·bōw בְּחֹ֧שֶׁן on the breastpiece bə·ḥō·šen הַמִּשְׁפָּ֛ט of judgment , ham·miš·pāṭ תָּמִֽיד׃ as a continual tā·mîḏ לְזִכָּרֹ֥ן reminder lə·zik·kā·rōn לִפְנֵֽי־ before lip̄·nê- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH . Yah·weh Exodus 28:30 וְנָתַתָּ֞ And place wə·nā·ṯa·tā הָאוּרִים֙ the Urim hā·’ū·rîm וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַתֻּמִּ֔ים and Thummim hat·tum·mîm אֶל־ in ’el- חֹ֣שֶׁן the breastpiece ḥō·šen הַמִּשְׁפָּ֗ט of judgment , ham·miš·pāṭ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְהָיוּ֙ so that they will also be wə·hā·yū עַל־ over ‘al- אַהֲרֹ֔ן Aaron’s ’a·hă·rōn לֵ֣ב heart lêḇ בְּבֹא֖וֹ whenever he comes bə·ḇō·’ōw לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh אַ֠הֲרֹן Aaron ’a·hă·rōn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תָּמִֽיד׃ס will continually tā·mîḏ וְנָשָׂ֣א carry wə·nā·śā מִשְׁפַּ֨ט the judgment miš·paṭ בְּנֵי־ of the sons bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl עַל־ over ‘al- לִבּ֛וֹ his heart lib·bōw לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֖ה YHWH .
