כְּלִ֥יל entirely kə·lîl תְּכֵֽלֶת׃ of blue cloth , tə·ḵê·leṯ Exodus 28:32 וְהָיָ֥ה with wə·hā·yāh פִֽי־ an opening p̄î- רֹאשׁ֖וֹ at its top rō·šōw בְּתוֹכ֑וֹ in the center . bə·ṯō·w·ḵōw סָבִ֜יב Around [the opening] sā·ḇîḇ יִֽהְיֶה֩ shall be yih·yeh מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה a woven ma·‘ă·śêh אֹרֵ֗ג . . . ’ō·rêḡ שָׂפָ֡ה collar śā·p̄āh לְפִ֨יו with an opening lə·p̄îw כְּפִ֥י like that kə·p̄î תַחְרָ֛א of a garment , ṯaḥ·rā יִֽהְיֶה־ so that yih·yeh- לּ֖וֹ it lōw לֹ֥א will not lō יִקָּרֵֽעַ׃ tear . yiq·qā·rê·a‘ Exodus 28:33 וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ Make wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā רִמֹּנֵי֙ pomegranates rim·mō·nê תְּכֵ֤לֶת of blue , tə·ḵê·leṯ וְאַרְגָּמָן֙ purple , wə·’ar·gā·mān וְתוֹלַ֣עַת and scarlet yarn wə·ṯō·w·la·‘aṯ שָׁנִ֔י . . . šā·nî עַל־ . . . ‘al- שׁוּלָ֖יו . . . šū·lāw סָבִ֑יב all the way around the lower sā·ḇîḇ עַל־ - ‘al- שׁוּלָ֗יו hem , šū·lāw זָהָ֛ב with gold zā·hāḇ וּפַעֲמֹנֵ֥י bells ū·p̄a·‘ă·mō·nê בְּתוֹכָ֖ם between bə·ṯō·w·ḵām סָבִֽיב׃ them , sā·ḇîḇ Exodus 28:34 סָבִֽיב׃ alternating sā·ḇîḇ זָהָב֙ the gold zā·hāḇ פַּעֲמֹ֤ן bells pa·‘ă·mōn וְרִמּ֔וֹן and pomegranates wə·rim·mō·wn פַּֽעֲמֹ֥ן . . . pa·‘ă·mōn זָהָ֖ב . . . zā·hāḇ וְרִמּ֑וֹן . . . wə·rim·mō·wn עַל־ . . . ‘al- שׁוּלֵ֥י {around} the lower hem šū·lê הַמְּעִ֖יל of the robe . ham·mə·‘îl Exodus 28:35 וְהָיָ֥ה wə·hā·yāh אַהֲרֹ֖ן Aaron ’a·hă·rōn עַֽל־ must wear [the robe] ‘al- לְשָׁרֵ֑ת whenever he ministers , lə·šā·rêṯ ק֠וֹלוֹ and its sound qō·w·lōw וְנִשְׁמַ֣ע will be heard wə·niš·ma‘ בְּבֹא֨וֹ when he enters bə·ḇō·’ōw וּבְצֵאת֖וֹ or exits ū·ḇə·ṣê·ṯōw אֶל־ . . . ’el- הַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ the sanctuary haq·qō·ḏeš לִפְנֵ֧י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֛ה YHWH , Yah·weh וְלֹ֥א so that he will not wə·lō יָמֽוּת׃ס die . yā·mūṯ Exodus 28:36 וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ You are to make wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā צִּ֖יץ a plate ṣîṣ טָה֑וֹר of pure ṭā·hō·wr זָהָ֣ב gold zā·hāḇ וּפִתַּחְתָּ֤ and engrave ū·p̄it·taḥ·tā עָלָיו֙ on it ‘ā·lāw פִּתּוּחֵ֣י [as] pit·tū·ḥê חֹתָ֔ם on a seal : ḥō·ṯām קֹ֖דֶשׁ HOLY qō·ḏeš לַֽיהוָֽה׃ TO YHWH . Yah·weh Exodus 28:37 וְשַׂמְתָּ֤ Fasten wə·śam·tā עַל־ to it ‘al- אֹתוֹ֙ - ’ō·ṯōw תְּכֵ֔לֶת a blue tə·ḵê·leṯ פְּתִ֣יל cord pə·ṯîl עַל־ to mount it on ‘al- הַמִּצְנָ֑פֶת the turban ; ham·miṣ·nā·p̄eṯ וְהָיָ֖ה it shall be wə·hā·yāh אֶל־ on ’el- מ֥וּל the front mūl פְּנֵֽי־ . . . pə·nê- הַמִּצְנֶ֖פֶת of the turban ham·miṣ·ne·p̄eṯ יִהְיֶֽה׃ . . . . yih·yeh
